I remembered to come back to this video today. I plan to watch it one more time to take some notes. Of your top 40, I've been to 7: Bruges, Las Vegas, British Columbia, Athens, the European Alps (sort of - I've passed through Switzerland and Austria by train but haven't gone up the mountainside), the Giza pyramids, and Venice. I loved that you ended with Venice - my jaw dropped when I stepped out of the train station at age 20 (in 1987) and saw the Grand Canal lined with palatial buildings with Byzantine, Islamic, and Renaissance architectural styles. It was of course before the internet or even Rick Steves, so I had no preview, which made it more even more stunning! Thanks for all the work you put into this series!
Thank you for letting me know, Beth! I wish more people found this video. 🙂 You’ve been to some amazing places! I would have loved to see the destinations you mention before the internet or cell phones. Definitely a special experience. Thanks for watching!
What a wonderful list you have given us, thank you for all of your hard work - again! It's so cool to see places that I know I will never get to, just knowing what beauty is out there is fantastic!
Wow.! It's an exciting and enriching experience watching this video.! So many countries with enchanting details of nature and history.! Again..spoilt for choice.!! This time I've no idea, which one is my favorite! Great work Kristin.! And as always, you're looking resplendent and so elegant.!
All of these are quite impressive! So far out of these, I've been to Bali, the Alps, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Out of all of these, Patagonia is really high on my list of places to travel to, but I could easily go see all of these!
Sounds like you've already had some amazing adventures @scottman895! Patagonia is indeed a breathtaking destination, and I'm sure you'll love it when you get the chance to visit. Safe travels and enjoy your future explorations! 😊🌍✈️
I loved this video. The narrative Transitions so swiftly between place to place and definitely enjoy your voice. It is my understanding that you've traveled around. Have you been to each and every of these glorious places? Thank you Kristin.!
I really enjoyed your video. It was such a diverse list of places that most people never see. Loved the photos and your description of each place made the video so interesting. I have been to Singapore, Bruges, Las Vegas, British Columbia, Hong Kong, Vietnam including Halong Bay and Hoi An, the Acropolis in Athens and Lisbon and the Azores. I loved every minute of it. My bucket list now includes Bali, Kyoto,Venice, Iceland and somewhere to see the bioluminescence on the beach. That was just incredible. Thank you so much. 😊
Quite the list and most off the beaten path. I am 68 and living in Thailand. There are so many interesting places to see and one could be discouraged by not being one of those people who have visited 60+ countries but I can be pleased to consider myself pretty well travelled given my time and resources in my life. Do what you can and be content.
Hi Kristin, a brilliant video showing some fantastic places, I was surprised that you did not include the Cotswolds in the UK or the Great Barrier Reef. I have been to the great Barrier Reef along with a few of the places that were mentioned.
Hi Ian, I mentioned the Great Barrier Reef in another video in this series ruclips.net/p/PLsTStwiO7jmpe0n-Fea5TmfAjSzo-zKe7 Would love to visit the Cotswolds someday!
Hi Kristin. This is Emerson from Brazil! How are you? Thank you for the amazing landscaping views! I also like to travel a lot. Can you please recommend some drone model that I could have the same experience taking such nice videos and photos like yours. I really appreciate it. Thank you!!
Of all the places on your list I’ve been to St. Petersberg, Russia, Singapore, Bruges, Krakow, Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, Panama Canal, Kathmandu, Banff,BC., Vancouver Island, Lisbon,
Hi Kristen, you're inspiring me to sharpen my 'remote' skills so i can travel. Can you recommend a good course or skill test site for learning UI / UX design please?
So I'm looking at all this gorgeous food and it made me think...do you have a particular cultural preference in food? I love many tastes but lean toward mexican (closest, most common) and oriental. Just curious
My top travel destination was Myanmar - Yangon, Bagan, and Mandalay. The country had recently opened to western tourism. The people were friendly, happy and optimistic and had recently held elections. Myanmar was a beautiful and fascinating untouched country in 2017. That is when it was safe and more acceptable to traveling there. Runner up - rafting down the Grand Canyon I live in Thailand 🇹🇭
Agree about number 1. A testament to European civilisation and culture. So many wondrous places. I'll never visit them all but am glad to have experienced many of them. Next up for me - Georgia and Armenia in April.
Thank you very much for the nice video, but i live close to bruges its a city 120 000 inhabitants its a city not a village but i understand for Us people standards its a small place 🙂
I'm still trying to figure that out! But my favorite home bases are Vancouver, Canada; Miami, FL; Amsterdam, NL; and probably Tulum and Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Costa Rica was also a base for me for 8 years.
In regard to the Amazon, the biggest reason for deforestation is for animal agriculture globally. (To grow the food to feed the animals to kill for humans) I dont consume animals, and this is one of the reasons. For the environment as well as ethical reasons.. 🐮🐶
Awesome video. The list is fair enough I'd say. All the best and keep it up. Now, then Kristin will you pls Marry me🎉❤ You'll save me from travelling to so many locations by telling me about them. 😂 The ring is waiting whenever you're in Johannesburg, South Africa😅
@19:27 #26 Don't go to Sin City! unless you want to.! I grew up in that city, and I would not recommend it to anyone who loves nature and Pura Vida. No! Go to Costa Rica, instead, if you love life and Pura Vida. I am in Jacó, and althoujgh the heat is worse in Jacó than the heat in Sin City, even during the summar time, the sin is not as bad. If you must visit that city, check out Red Rock Canyon. It is a little West of town, and It is worth the visit. Thanks for sharing!
Plitivice are in Croatia. Una and Dinara border Croatia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. Not as tolerant as they used to be. Each of the three nations pretty much focused on themselves.

Probably an unexpected way to kick off the video but I’m glad you liked it!

The tallest indoor waterfall in the world in in Singapore but it's not at Gardens by the Bay. It's in The Jewel next to Changi Airport.
Thanks for the info! I’ll check our source again
So I'm looking at all this gorgeous food and it made me think...do you have a particular cultural preference in food? I love many tastes but lean toward mexican (closest, most common) and oriental. Just curious
I have been enjoying Mexican food a lot lately in Miami and Tulum. But I also gravitate toward Mediterranean flavors 🥗
