Cobra Kai is honestly the most authentic and fun thing on TV right now as far as I'm concerned, and I love it.
The parts that made me laugh the most in Season 4 is Johnny asking “What’s an Uber” & when Johnny tweets about his fight with Daniel & one of the teens says to Miguel “Why is tweeting all that, you’re his only follower” Lol!!! 😆😆😆 omg that made me laugh till my stomach hurt!!

Best moment for me would have to be the fight between Robbie and Eli.
Eli did not get highlighted too much this season and after the hair incident he was the last person I expected to be in the final, let alone winning it. I went from feeling sorry for him to hating him and now he's my favorite character.
The hair incident was to prove that "you are not your hair"; Hawk is still there, inside him, no matter if he has a mohawk, a mullet or pigtails, like Demetri says. ^^ Eli losing his confidence was similar to how Daniel didn't have any to begin with so I called it fairly early on; a classic Karate Kid story, which never disappoints. I do, however, feel bad for Robbie; poor guy is 0 for 2 now, he just can't seem to ever get a win, even though he is portrayed as being on par with Miguel and one of the best fighters of the new generation.
yessss! I loved the character! however, when he was being rude to his friends, mostly Demetri, I didn't like the character which made me sad. However, after the fight at Sam's house where I swapped sides he was my favourite once again! Even more after he gained confidence and won! I relate with him so much as I have scars on my hands from surgery :)

@@ilovetaylorrr12 the only thing I have a problem with when it comes to Hawk is how sudden his turn back to being a good guy was. He was really having fun being a baddie in that very same brawl at the Larusso house hollering his glee early in the fight, then he just switches. In my opinion, they could have focused a bit more on him wrestling with his decisions which had led him there, given him more time to come to terms with himself. But it's a minor point, to be fair.
@@Egobyte83 I agree, we saw slight progress though when he broke Demetris arm. But other than that Hawk is no in MIYAGO do and won!
Season four was so worth it. Hard work pays off.

Great moments abound:
(SPOILERS)
* Daniel and Johnny bumping fists and sharing lunches was just so adorable
* The Larusso - Lawrence rematch was really fun to watch even though the outcome was pretty predictable (cause one getting one up on the other would upset the entire balance of what the show revolves around, they always have to remain equal)
* Daniel and Johnny coming together to support Sam made me all warm and fluffy inside
* Demetri actually holding his own, even against Robby was an unexpected surprise; I thought he would stay as a comedy sidekick and nothing more, but watching him do weapons displays and kick ass was fun
* In general, all the fights in the finals are breathtaking to watch (Sam doing her stance litterally gave me goosebumps)
* Finding out that there is some small traces of an actual human being inside Kreese was very interesting and, tbh, he needed it, because one-sided evil Kreese, though entertaining, was beginning to grow stale storywise
* Robby's heartfelt reconciliation with his father was heartbreaking
* Silver's deliciously evil plot all coming together in the end had me smile the entire scene
* Chozen's return in the end was a welcome twist, if not that unexpected
But my favorite moment of all is probably when Johnny teaches Daniel the Eagle Fang-karate; I mean, hearing Johnny Lawrence actually cheering Daniel on.... that's something you'd never think you'd ever hear if you watched Karate Kid back in the day. :D Plus, the whole Daniel beating up a hockey team using Johnny's teachings and Johnny using Miyagi's lesson about "no be there" was just so mindblowingly fun. XD XD

Ok but can we talk about after prom when Miguel walked into Johnny’s apartment to find him drunk. Miguel ends up admitting that he loves johnny and he’s doing just fine fathering him, and then it turns out Johnny was talking about Robbie all along. I mean you can just tell that’s when Miguel decided to leave to find his father.

I've been watching this show since it was a RUclips Red exclusive, and so far I have never felt any disappointment. Season 4 was so good. It presented an interesting contrast between Johnny and Daniel's style that eventually worked together in real action. I also loved the part where they tackled cyberbullying. It's a real problem these days.

It’s honestly crazy I don’t watch any other Netflix series or Tv show. And I’ve never really been much of a movie watcher but when my brother told me to watch this when it first came out I’ve become addicted. Honestly can’t stop thinking about what’s to come in later seasons I’m excited 😆
As an 80s kid, a genuine fan of The Karate Kid, Cobra Kai has been an amazing series. Just finished season 4 in 2 days... Another great season, love it. Bring on Season 5!

Not the only one, i feel like why do they keep putting them as enemies. Are they going to be another Johnny and Daniel?
I wish they would show Robby showing a bit more sympathy on Miguel legs situation and maybe respect for each other as a skilled fighter.

The way William and Ralph work together to give themselves a fighting chance which actually works shows up in the last episode, particularly when they are backed against the wall. it shows how both of their characters actually hate the characters in Cobra Kai. It is a great twist on the original series.
This show is so fabulous, Season 4 was great. The fights, especially the 1v1s at the tournament were so beautifully done, and the writers managed to tell the story in ways that were so unexpected and fresh. Robby got some wonderful character development, Tory finally got to be sympathetic, Demetri got to git gud, Eli got to be a good guy again, and Terry Freaking Silver is back in action and the mad genius has returned. I cannot wait to see whats in store for Season 5!
So glad Terry silver's character has been redeemed from that burning train wreck that was the third movie.
I can’t get over how every season is just as good as the one before . This show is too good ! Thank you all for doing this show for us .
Miguel deserved so much better in this season
He did get better.. he burnt off the chip on his shoulder, he overcame his old personas and figures out what he really wants... he had a great character development arc
I love this show. I will fight anyone over this show if they have something bad to say. That said, the fall is something I wish never would've happened and we could go back. It changed everything about Miguel, including the tone & his path. Watching him struggle kills me. My only complaint. I wish it never would've happened. I still can't watch the fall.
@@kayprivate2720 I think Miguel has changed a lot as a character, but I agree, he deserved better. I was in tears to be honest and if you think about it the spot light was off of him in this season which means that next season (5), I think it will be about him finding his dad. Along with him and Robby finally becoming friends and his relationship with Johnny.
Objectively I think the disqualification was a nice twist. Subjectively I'm a little pissed.. I wanted to see him kick some serious ass in the finals!
He's gonna have a bigger arc next season.
Daniel and Johnny team up was everything! It’s so strange to see them getting along and learning from each other. Loved it and need more.
I hope Daniel goes with Johnny to find Miguel where they pull a Bruce Lee, Wong Jack Man style tag team.

My favourite part of season four is probably the girls finales. I really liked that because usually it’s the boys that Win but in this case a girl wins and I think that’s really inspiring towards the young woman who want to learn karate.
But she won because a judge was bribed…
Well it was the girls fight that was last and had the pressure of winner-take-all. Bad ref or not a girl would have won at the end.

My favourite part other than the tournament was the library scene with Kenny and Anthony. My whole family was laughing their heads off the whole time, it was a great scene!

Favorite Johnny line of season 4
"If you're so worried about this guy why don't we just go down there and kick his ass?" not only is that a badass line but its also inclusive...he's involving Daniel in his plans he said "we" not "me" not "you"... "We"
Season 4 was great everyone was amazing I can't wait for season 5.
Cobra Kai is a standout right now. No other show is this authentic. It speaks to a massive audience who want to see less wokeness and PC content, and more of a focus on issues which truly plague us all, such as dealing with personal demons, family brokenness, lack of confidence, overcoming bullying, fear and anxiety, etc. This is what most Americans face every day in some form, so to see it played out on this exciting and funny show makes us all feel connected. It's just so much better than anything else out there.
The brilliant thing is that it actually does a good job of being 'woke' with respect to diversity and such, but manages to do it in a way that is not preachy or obnoxious. That is a damn hard trick to pull off.

I loved the ending at the cemetery. I can't think of what or who she was talking about in episode 9. Loved what they're doing with Terry silver. I thought he was gonna be in one season and gone.

What it's more surprising to me as a native Spanish speaker is that her pronunciation in the show is quite good. It annoys me so much that whenever a Hispanic character speaks Spanish, I have to read the English subtitles in order to understand because the pronunciation is atrocious.

The Daniel/Johnny dynamic is about 80% of what I watch this show for☺️
It's fascinating, because it's a dynamic we've all seen 100 times before--but usually it's between a man and a woman, and in a romantic context:
It's the guy and girl who are always at each other's throats, but everyone on the show, and everyone in the audience KNOWS they're madly in love and destined to be together...
...the only people who don't know are THEM😂
Cobra Kai has tweaked that, and made it about two straight men who are destined to be best friends--whether they like it or not 😂
All the people Daniel and Johnny have in common are friends...two are even a couple. Danny and Carmen get along great, Johnny and Amanda get along great... Johnny's top student is dating Daniel's top student/daughter.
We keep wondering when they're going to see the forest for the trees and realize that the things they share far outweigh the things that divide them.
Every so often they'll have a moment where they connect, but this is inevitably followed by a moment that puts them at odds...
...and the problem, as Ali so astutely observed, is that they *like* being at odds: it's their comfort zone.
Liking, respecting, or appreciating each other is contrary to what they both see as the natural order of the universe...so whenever things start to warm up between them, they'll latch on to any excuse to become enemies again.
ONE of them is going to have to make the conscious decision to resist this impulse...whether the other does the same or not.
It only takes one: it's no fun to be in a rivalry by yourself ☺️ Once one rival calls off the feud, the other will eventually follow.
And therein lies the magic of the Larusso/Lawrence bromance:
I think they both know one of them has to give up the rivalry...they just each think it should be the other one who does it 😂

been watching since s1 dropped on youtube red. me and my brother were so excited when we found out that they were making a series 30 years later bc we are such huge fans of the karate kid movies. it was a pain getting the free trial for s1 and for when s2 dropped hahah so happy they switched to netflix. makes our lives so much easier

If you watch this show in a marathon season to season its amazing to see how the writers/creators do amazing story arcs and character development. Everything is planned out and developed so well. The show started as something of a backstory and now it's become a it's own legend lol

A big Huge Hi 👋🏼 to Ralph & William 😄😄 Hi ladies 👋🏼 When I was around 10-11yrs old, I watched The first Karate Kid movie (on video) about 50 times so I knew the whole script lol 😆 & I knew all the songs too lol 😆 So when Cobra Kai came out I was soo pumped about it! I think the writers did an incredible job, I love the storyline’s & the action etc. Also great to see girls in on it too. Cobra Kai is my all time favourite series on Netflix! When each season comes out, I Binge watch the entire season in one go Lol!!! Season 4 was awesome especially when Carrie Underwood sings “Moment of Truth” which just rocked!! I’m soo looking forward to season 5 can’t wait!!’

When my sisters & I watched “The Karate Kid” over & over again on video back in the 80’s we were all kids aged 10-14yrs. We used to play Karate fights on each other but sometimes we would kick or punch too hard & the fights got serious lol 😆. At the time we were all living with just our mother. So I think the fact the at Daniel Larusso was being raised by a single mother was really relatable. Also he wasn’t rich & he was being bullied, which are things most kids can relate to.
I watch Cobra Kai for the comedy as much as the action.

I thought season 1 was fantastic and 2 and 3 were not as good but still good. This seems pretty standard for T.V shows.

It is not hyperbole to say that the fight scenes look better, more exciting and realistic than the last Matrix movie (a key reason why Resurrections came off so flat). Not only that but Cobra Kai has so much heart. Kudos to the writers and everyone involved.

Ok so here are my fav characters from Season 4 (which is a surprise change from the last 3 seasons) My Favs are 1) Tory (love the backstory)
2) Eli (they grew on me before they won btw) 3) Miguel, always a sweetie. 4) Johnny & Carmen together as a couple rocks 5) And I am really surprised to say…Kreese grew on me, 6) Dimitri & Stingray also need a mention 👍. I like Robbie & Samantha but they both seemed abit too broody & moody on Season 4. Little Kenny is looking like a bad boy in the making. Anyway great twist at the end with Miguel off to look for his father 👍😁😁😁

I am 46 years old, and I think Billy Zabka is still hot and kicks ass! I saw The Karate Kid in 1984 at the movie theater and being so young, in my opinion, his character Johnny was robbed in the tournament. If you go back and watch The Karate Kid, nobody in the tournament is doing any so called crane kicks. Not only that, Daniel got himself involved with Johnny, but it is just a movie and we wouldn’t have this great show if facts weren’t suspended.

Every series i have watched since Lost.... turns bad... sooner or later.... So far so good..... But its sad that it will go bad soon.
I want to know if there will be another season, after this season 4 ended. It shows Daniel at the gravesite along with another person to end Cobra Kai. Otherwise, I will stop my subscription to Netflix.
