What if you decorated the inside like a temple? You know how some exhibits will have items spread out and take museum goers on a 'journey' through the history they're displaying? Set up fake walls etc. In the exhibit halls. That could be really cool.

Get the biggest plot of land, fill it up with a lot of trees to make it into a forest, than build something like a small summer camp kinda place with a cafeteria/gathering room, a couple of cabins with bunk beds and a shower house. Could be fun?
You shouldn’t set any of the actual artifacts for sale and just set the counterfeit/poor quality artifacts for sale like a gift shop. So that way no one actually buys your treasures!
You should still have Katrina authenticate the relics. A higher archeology skill means you are more likely to have a higher quality item. If you have a low skill you might damage them and lower the quality.
James, you should try to complete ALL the collections and have everything displayed (set for sale) at the Bigwallet Emporium. Could be a kinda long series but pretty cool! I would love to see how you collect everything!! 👍🏻😀
What I've been doing for lighting is getting the beamer and scaling it down very small then putting a prettier light on top of it! The round hanging ones work best so the scaled down light kind of hides in between it!

The museum looks empty! You need to fill it with things other than artifacts, some skeletons, fossils, dirt clumps, machetes, and the like! Downstairs can be set up like a lab for uncovering and authenticating artifacts.
I think you should separate all the different items into different rooms. So you'd have one for plates, skulls, frogs etc and they are all on those pedestals, they looked pretty awesome. The other stuff looks a little shoved in the middle :D
You should definitely turn one of the downstairs rooms into an 'archive' room or something. Maybe make it so it's very sterile as if you are preserving the artefacts.
since its a museum, you could make a little museum garden with like a jungle ruin display or something, and add some pots and paintings. make the displays not look terrible
James, i think you should do duplicate rooms or excavating rooms in the basement because then you can have a designated area to do this. btw love your vids.
You should buy Katrina a decent camera and take photos of the temples/take an easel to the jungle and paint pictures of the different landscapes, then you can frame and display/sell them in the museum :)
I have a build challenge idea! Well, it's not really a challenge but still... You have to build a house but only using your least favourite items e.g. the items you find really ugly. I guess the challenge is to be truthful and to bear the ugliness. For example, you could build a house with the puzzle carpet and yellow tiles for the walls and put the low quality items in.
Put the plates in the middle display case...there is 3 of them. Put the four skulls in the big display case with the knives...there are 4 skulls. You also have 1 more of the standing statues (they look like bunnies to me) in the big display case not only 2. That will balance out your cases.
For future reference, you can just click on the little white “thing” on the other sims picture and click ‘switch control to this sim’, then the first sim will stay were you left her

Don't place the displays in the middle back to back! Usually in museums you're able to see every side of the item.
