2018 Camaro SS 1LE oil change walk through and tips

Doing the first oil change on my 2018 Camaro 1LE. This is the same procedure you would use for the regular 2016-2019 SS Camaro’s as well. Went with Royal Purple 5W-30 along with a Royal Purple filter.

Good vid. Now they recommend the Mobil 1 DexosR 0W40 Supercar oil. Only $10/Quart...I have heard that you should stick with Delco or Wix oil filters because the have the factory spec oil drain flow valve psi rating. How is the car serving you at this point?

Explain to me in a little more detail why I would need an oil catch can on my '19 SS 1LE. I'm just over 5k miles no oil change yet.
Just FYI for others, you're not supposed to get that motor over 4k RPM for the first 1500 miles (engine break in) And always cycle through all of the gears as needed, don't skip gears.

Why would u do a rear diff change at 1500 miles ??

It’s recommended to do diff oil change after 15-20 k , V8 has It has limited slip diff , it’s very easy to do, use only only ACdelco stuff with OEM GM part number
