One of the best ways to get resources ( supplies, linnen , iron ) esp late in the game is to just roam around the map. You will often find groups with a supply wagon that you can loot for big amounts and honor for defeating them.
The Sakai clan armor together with ur killing tech can wipe out entire groups in a very short time plus you also gain a lot of resolve that you can use on the next group if you should fail the stand off.
The armor is also good for overall killing and duels but if you get hit a lot then it is better to use the Gosakus or the Samurai armor .

Sakai clan armor has a terrify ability when you do standoffs just put some black dye on it the you have a batman samurai
A year late, but man you got me wanting to go back to GOS and do a "Batman" run
Batman would be more like a Shinobi than a Samurai
I was thinking Darth Vader but that’s a cool way to look at it as well.
Where do you get the helmet.
You will have to upgrade the Sakai clan armour for that

The samurai clan armor is chef’s kiss for duels. So I’d say upgrade that one too, it reduces the amount of damage you take by a lot.
How about gosaku
@@jmgonzales7701 kind of. The characters you duel tend to be really good at dodging, so breaking their barrier is much more difficult. If you want to go for max damage, I’d say Sakia clan armor.
question, ive been playing a new game plus on lethal+ diff, does the damage reduction matter that the samurai clan armor gives? or is it still one hit to death
@@JackMeoff46that’s just because you’re approaching duels the wrong way. Can’t be on the offensive in duels 90% of your attacks won’t land. Just deflect/perfect dodge and everything is over under a minute

Legit this, Tadayori and the Traveler attire were the first I maxed out.
My tadayori build has lock on, and shoots 3 arrows at once. Also infinite arrows and time slow.

I just completed my last quest of iki today.. Completed the game on traveller's attire. Tried all armours, for standoffs sometimes I would change gear mid fight and then go back to traveller's not to miss any artefacts nearby.

I`ve cleaned villages from mongol hordes even dressed with the Traveler Attire and it was a lot of fun either.
Sakai Armor with Black Dye and Sakai Horse Armor combination is the most terrifying thing in Ghost of Tsushima

I suck at standoffs so I'd rather upgrade my Samurai Clan, Ghost, Gosaku, or Sarugami armors.
Its hard esp against the late game enemies but if you practise the timeing then it gets easier. A kill this way is extremly satisfying 😊👍
@@gl00w95 Yeah, I forgot if it was Act 2 or 3, but once I lost a couple standoffs and saw how much health it drained, I figured they weren't even worth it, especially once I got Sarugami armor and could just parry everybody for almost the exact same effect 😂.

@@MistaWordz Standoffs aren't too hard as long as you watch their feet. Once their feet move, let go of the button. The only ones I have trouble with here and there are the spearmen since their initial attack can be hard to read sometimes. I kept the Sakai armor on for most of the game unless I was exploring.
I did entire act 2 by black colour and then act 3 by red colour to represent the character development.
I already full upgrade all of my armor and get all of the skin from baku the voiceless.The only thing I need to complete my mission is the director cut for get my ticket to go to Iki Island😶
I like having the Sakai mask and helmet used on the Ghost armor
or having the Ghost mask and headband on the Sakai armor
Yeah i dont like the helmet of the sakai armor it looks to bulky and heavy

Try the Sarugami Armor with monkey eye dye with the Tribal Terror mask.

I use maxed out sarugami armor in white with the white sakai horse armor
Standoffs being the most boring and flattest approach of combat in GoT
Lethal Gosaku laughs in 1 hit 100% crit max dmg XD
Just sayin but I OC did use the sakai armor at first. Until you get to understand the game a lil more in charm department and then it all makes sense for outta stance combat.

@@jmgonzales7701 You need the max attack boosts, inari's max charm and not get hit during combat. 2x double crit or run just one while running 50% chance more for % charm items. All while having max dmg weapons. Its amazing lol

You know, If you upgrade the Sakai armor to max lvl, you get two stand off streak, but if you spend skill points, you can increase the streak
I use Old Yharnam Vestments Kensei armor with Black Sakai Helmet and Any white Oni Mask. The helmet covers the eyes so it looks like a Halloween costume lmao
I hate how huge the armor looks after the 3rd upgrade, but I love the antlers. Fashion Souls has crossed into every realm of gaming for me.
I'm glad they gave us the option to use the look of any upgrade level. I also don't like the max level look of some armors
i use the second look, its not as bulky

What charms are you using?
Amaterasu for healing when killing enemies and inaris might for more melee dmg and life. Those 2 are the ones i remember:)

It’s the Standoff Option. Regardless of what controller or console you’re using, sometimes when you come upon a group of enemies you can hit a button to perform a stand-off. On all consoles, it’s Up on the D-Pad.
Then you hold Triangle on a PlayStation controller until the enemy strikes. You have to max out your upgrades on both the Sakai Armor set and your personal abilities so that you have full Stand-off kill potentials. With the set, I believe it’s 5 enemies in a single standoff.
With all due respect, I prefer killing my enemies with sheer precision rather than a mediocre quick-time event
Standoffs are awesome when done once but became underwhelming when done 5 times in a row

Pro tip: stand-offs are easier to be read by the position of their feet. If their feet makes a step then it's time to strike : 3
