  • In this video, I am restoring the old finish on a worn-out mountain oak nightstand I found at a Habitat for Humanity thrift store just across the USA border. I thought it could use a nice refinishing to bring it back to its original look.

    I'm pretty sure it that piece came with a water bed set from the late 70's to early 80's! I only know cause I was around for that hideous craze 🙄 You've done a lovely job making it look considerably better!

    It looks good, but very strange that it has no proper knobs to pull on the drawers! It looked very hard to open with your fingertips at the edges of the drawers. I do love to see old things made new again.

    Looks a little dated...I would have done a more modern stain color....looks off the showroom floor ...but from the 70s. Might have tried a black toned stain or Grey white.
