    I found a free dining table on Craiglist and decided to turn it into a DIY modern fluted pedestal dining table. It ended up being more work than I anticipated, but in the end, I think it was all worth it. What do you think?

    You are very patient and the table turned out beautifully!💯 I appreciate that you don't have music blasting in the background (the sound of the tools and sanding sound really cool). Thank you Furniture Flippa!😎

    Great job. The result was well worth the effort. Maybe you could sell it and take the profit to make a smaller version for yourself because that style looks really good in your apartment.
    You may not have had to use clamps if you'd brad nailed the half rounds. You would've just had to putty over the pin holes, but you wouldn't have to wait until the glue dried before being able to use the clamps again. Mind you, if you don't have a brad nailer, it would've added more expense to have to buy one, and doing that by hand wouldn't be ideal.

    • @FurnitureFlippa
      @FurnitureFlippa  Месяц назад +4

      Good idea! I’m keeping my eye out for a smaller table, hopefully one pops up eventually. And I don’t have a brad nailer, but I will prob buy more clamps eventually, you can never have too many lol thanks for watching :)

    You can keep it, because it looks great there. It gives room for a few people to dine. And it gives room for doing any paperwoork.

    Terrific alteration. Less '80s and much more of our time. Trade out the chairs with something less chunky and the set would be complete.

    Great job on the table!! It really looks wonderful! I have mixed feelings about what you should do with it. If you can get $3000 for it, sell it!! Make a nice smaller one for your place. Or, you can just keep it. You may move to a larger space at some point. Whatever makes YOU happy makes ME happy. I just wanted you to know that I really enjoy your videos. A lot of talent for such a young man. Your dog is such a cutie!! Looks like a real sweetie.

    The added wood at the base gives the table some nice texture and makes it more interesting, while not looking like some kind of trendy decor. I like it. I also looked into a round table for my apartment but like you I'm not sure if one wouldn't be too big.

    • @FurnitureFlippa
      @FurnitureFlippa  Месяц назад

      Thank you! And mine fits but it makes it feel tight as my space isn’t too large already. Which makes me kind of want to hold off and wait for a smaller sized table. I love the look though. Good luck finding a round table!

    The top looks like it was covered with a laminate plastic coating which is why you had such a hard time removing it. Great job on upcycling this piece. It’s nice to see these old pieces updated instead of just being tossed in a land fill. Well done.
