***I heavily overrated the difficulty of this challenge, since this came out I've beaten 3 star nightmare 4 more times for speedruns and I can confidently say it's more on par with 10/20 in FNAF 2 and 4/20 in FNAF 4, not even close to NDC level, at the time that I did this challenge the game wasn't out for very long and a lot of the strats that I talk about in this vid weren't even in the run, I just found out about them later on. @TheBones5 I should note that spamming call on the phone also lures Freaktrap. You don't have to enter a number, just push the call button about 3 times. Edit: (fuck someone beat me to it)

All the secret minigames are references to the books, which is why you don't know what's happening in them. The one with the Circus Baby looking character(her real name is Eleanor) is a reference to "To Be Beautiful", the dog one is a reference to "Fetch" , and the last one is a reference to "Count The Way"
also hiding from a death rabbit when it suddenly glances over to investigate your hiding place, it doesnt give you much opportunity to take a deep breath first a big gasp would be loud, so part of the low lung capacity is probably because Oz is just stopping breathing with whatever air he had at the time
one thing i learned about the ladder on my playthrough was that you can get rid of the noise it makes by just tapping the movement keys instead of holding them
As a Swirl W@tch player (Space 2d Metal Gear Solid V), I found that strategy by going "what if the ladder is like engine noise?" (in that game you can tap movement to inch closer to guards if your engine noise is too loud). Felt very smart
Unity games, especially those not compiled with IL2CPP (this game isn't), are actually not too difficult to decompile with tools like dnSpy and AssetRipper. When it comes to Oswald's tripping logic, it is ultimately RNG dependent but as you might expect there's a handful of factors that affect it. First off, Oswald runs a trip check every time his "run" action is "over". This actually does *not* include when you stop running, but rather only triggers every time his run animation ends and loops. There is special handling for "run mashing" (which you take advantage here to force tripping) to make Oswald trip. Oswald's base *stumble attempt* chances are actually technically determined per-level but almost every level in the game where Oswald *can* trip uses a default value of 10%. The main exceptions are most locations where you cannot be chased, as well as the prologue. Part 1 of the prologue has a base chance of 2% while part 2 (after the 80's pizzeria descends into chaos) has a base chance of 5%. After getting the base chance, it is offset by a chance retrieved from the game's insanity system. This system is a whole ball park of its own and there's a bunch of different things that make you more insane but it only matters if your insanity is "high" (around 75% or more). The main indicator of sanity seems to be a progressively increased idle heart rate, with heart rate being indicated by the pulsating red veins at the edges of the screen. If your insanity is "high", *75%* gets added to the base stumble attempt chance. As discussed, most areas have a 10% base stumble attempt chance and so this effectively means that being too insane gives you a whopping *85%* base stumble attempt chance every time Oswald's run animation loops. This is not necessarily as high as it seems for reasons that will be touched on soon. There's one more step to the stumble attempt chance calculation - darkness. Being in a dark room without a flashlight on further adds to the trip chance. Again, this is configured per-scene but effectively remains locked at 25% in most normal nighttime gameplay, and 15% in the prologue. Now, this base *stumble attempt* chance is not the chance for Oswald to *actually* trip. It is instead the chance for the game to make a stumble *attempt*. The game rolls a random number between 0 and 100 and if it is less than or equal the trip attempt chance, then it will attempt to make Oswald trip. An attempt to make Oswald trip will first increment the "attempt stumble" counter. This is a persistent counter and will increment every time the previous check passes. The value of this counter determines the *actual* chance that Oswald will trip. For example, let's say we have a 100% stumble attempt chance (possible in-game if we're at high insanity and running around in a dark room). Oswald's run cycle loops and causes the game to trigger a stumble attempt. The counter is now 1. This gives Oswald a 5% *actual* stumble chance. If this roll fails now, he will not trip. Then, his run cycle loops a second time. Again, since we have a 100% stumble attempt chance, the game will do another stumble attempt and increment the counter again. It is now 2. This gives Oswald a 10% chance to stumble. This goes on and on until the game reaches an *attempt stumble* counter chance of 5, in which case it guarantees a trip the next time a stumble attempt happens. Basically, Oswald will *only* trip if both the stumble attempt chance and actual stumble chance rolls go through. If you have 25% stumble *attempt* chance, and the counter is at 2, then you must first first pass that 25% roll, then the counter will increase to 3 (giving you a 20% actual stumble chance), then you must pass that 20% roll. If the counter was at 5 (100% actual stumble chance), then your stumble chance would then become effectively dictated by the stumble *attempt* chance (baseline 10%, effectively 35% in dark rooms with no flashlight) since that must pass first. This counter *is not* reset when Oswald stops running. The only things that can set this stumble attempt counter back to 0 is if Oswald finally trips (forced tripping *does not* count!) or, seemingly, going through a full loading screen (when it shows the area name and current night, like when going around the town, but not when going between rooms or time periods). Here's the table of counter values and actual stumble chances: 0 - 0% (This case should actually be impossible) 1 - 5% 2 - 10% 3 - 20% 4 - 50% 5 - 100% So, to summarise: The game checks if it can make a stumble attempt every time Oswald's running animation loops. Oswald's stumble attempt chance is decided by various factors, primarily insanity and whether or not he is in a dark room. If the stumble *attempt* occurs, it will increase a counter that then determines his *actual* stumble chance. The counter resets after Oswald trips naturally (but not through forced trips), or after a full loading screen. The counter maxes out at 5, which will guarantee a trip the next time a stumble attempt happens. A note on "forced trips": Forced trips are handled seperately from all the other stumble logic. The game maintains a "mash run counter" which is incremented every time you press shift and then a movement key (vice versa does not count). If this value surpasses 3, then Oswald will trip and the counter will reset to 0. This counter decreases by 1 every second.
My assumption is that forced trips not resetting the trip counter is by design and not a bug. My *theory* is that they probably built this check to try and mitigate cheesing the trip feature by stopping and starting. HOWEVER, since it only increases this counter when a *movement key* is pressed and not when the *run* key is pressed, and since the stumble attempt check is only run when Oswald's run animation *loops*, you can still avoid tripping by repeatedly releasing and re-pressing the run key without releasing movement keys right before Oswald's running animation finishes.
so does direction have anything to do with this bc spiff cheesed the force trip by spamming back and forth like say, uh, star fox mains. this seemed to trip him more. does it play a part at all?
freaktrap is SOOO much better than “the yellow rabbit,” or “pit springtrap.” Genuinely the best name I’ve heard so far. Not only is it funny as fuck, but it actually makes some semblance of sense.
@@Zumbisapecador oh sure sure. because a real grown ass adult says "lil bro" and watches fnaf videos. i'm not even 20. you aren't better, you're braindead.
I was watching Markiplier play and when he set the firecracker I was like “why the fuck did you have to do that” cause the game gave no explanation, I didn’t even know it was a big sequence break I just thought Mark missed a cutscene.
a few things: 1. you can use the phone to max out the noise meter anywhere INCLUDING in a hiding spot by making two consecutive calls (the secret calls SPRINGT, MANGLE, and PUPPET make more noise iirc but don't change the amount of calls required to max out the noise meter 2. you can use the ball pit at any time on any night which doesn't require a minigame and resets the past pizzeria completely. if you'd have gone right to the ball pit instead of left to the entrance vent you'd have escaped multiple times on night 2, and it resets all animatronics in the past so long as you interact with the ball pit before being caught. iirc freddy also can't peek through the ball pit door or any bottom of screen doors so there's always a completely free path to the ball pit no matter what 3. this may have been patched, but when I played, you didn't need an extra prize voucher to get the fetch minigame, you just had to interact with the prize machine in the past specifically after getting all the prizes. but, helpules is very easy with turbo so it doesn't matter that much 4. i don't think the 'sequence break' is really a sequence break, I think it's just an alternative way to play. there have been a few patches since launch and it hasn't been fixed and there are tons of alternative methods to progress in this game so i think it's intended, even if it's not the intended way to experience it for the first time. regardless, there's no reason not to skip the ladder exit as the other three are just strictly better
also, you don't need to press A to enter doors. if you keep holding the run button and run into the door it'll auto interact for you and play a faster door enter animation than normal since you're sprinting
Entering the ball put does not reset the past pizzeria, actually However Yellow Rabbot instantly stops the chase and proceeds to roam starting from the place he was in before you went in the ball pit It stays loaded, and if you leave through the ball pit while Yellow Rabbit is in the ball pit room, then instantly go back you will see him leaving through the door
@@ShooterEx every time i've entered the ball pit on any difficulty the yellow rabbit has teleported somewhere else in the pizzeria, i've never seen him still in the ball pit room even re entering the pit immediately, and i've noticed bonnie has moved tables after multiple times though i'm not sure how he works. regardless even if i just got lucky it's better than running for a vent in a lot of cases
There's a way to improve the forced tripping by making Oswald go back and forth very fast. Matpat discovered that during his playthrough and it seems to work very well, making him trip pretty much every time. That aside, huge congrats and awesome vid 🔥
Another amazing video from the goat himself! Here’s a bit extra for missing the last few videos (I’m preparing for college lol) I really like the art style of this game, and the character designs are amazing, especially Freaktrap lol Good news! After far too long (30 HOURS) I beat Funtime Gala HM! Despite 2 5:57 runs, it was honestly fun completing it. Although, for better or worse, I’ve been sucked into the MML grind. After beating 3 easier challenges, I’m already going for Funtime Gala VHM (I’ve got a 1:54 in only an hour! Feeling hopeful lol), Suicide Mouse, True Nightmare NPM, and eventually I want to go for SSM and Perfect Cacophony. Also my boy spent like 100 hours and finally beat R&CT AC (before it got removed from the Main List) and now he’s planning on going for UCN:D NDC and I already know he will get it. TLDR: all I’m saying is thank you for your videos and for yourself who inspired me to start running these max modes. Playing incredibly difficult modes in any game is something I’ve always wanted to do, but I’d always tell myself I wasn’t good enough and that I simply didn’t have enough skill to beat these challenges. But because of you (indirectly), I now have the tenacity to keep going through these challenges, despite how soul crushing some of these moments may me (I know you’re familiar with this), and it’s worth it in the end. So thank you, random stranger who makes content online, for having undeniable, contagious tenacity :)
dude you sounded at 37:37 like you just learned that your infant daughter has died due to pulmonary embolism as a result of second-hand smoke caused by your years of smoking. I understand the feeling but it wasn't THAT bad
“Top Down” lol Anyways, gotta love TheBones5 editing style, it’s always a throwback to casual videos of 2018-19 and such. And I really appreciate self-made tech from Bones, it’s cool seeing him make stuff up himself
engagement-boosting anecdote: i immediately made a script to press my e button once a millisecond and cheesed the helpules cabinet until i had 100 tickets (nice round number) on night 2. the next night, i went to redeem my tickets because i wanted the rocket ship oz would mention when inspecting the prize machine. having five vouchers, i got the game console, all three stickers, and the fetch minigame. jet said he wanted something he couldn't get anywhere else, so i figured the console would count and went to him at the first opportunity, netting myself a firecracker. watching this video is my first time learning how night 4 is actually supposed to go. i had an inkling that i had skipped some content when oz instantly deployed the firecracker with no comment, but i had no idea just how much sequence i broke. in my playthrough oz is either a clairvoyant or willing to set off a firework in front of the security door for nothing but the thrill of the flames edit: oh, also, i internally referred to the monster as "spingtap" the entire time i was playing. it felt right.
think about it, this lil kid knocked over a seven foot tall metal BEAST that kills in one single punch, even making freaktrap get stunned, and then the second punch gets him tangled up in strings idk, oswald got that dog in him
1:52 iirc 'freaktrap' is the remnants of william's malice/murderous intent that latched on to a normally functioning spring bonnie suit (so not the one he died in). That's also why he freaks the hell out at the photo of (SPOIILERS DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE SPOILED) - - - william and henry at the end
Crazy run! You are seriously the GOAT with this stuff! Here's some improvements that can be made for this run: For the phone in Night 1, when you first get it, you can just hide before calling mom and skip a chase. You can unscrew the entrance vent on Night 1 while its still safe. I've had the Night 3 Final chase door glitch happen to me though I just quit to title and reloaded my save to not lose the file. What I do to avoid it is to let Chip get a head start so the door properly closes before you arrive. And I feel your pain on failing the Night 5 chase...I failed there FIVE times before finally getting my 3-star nightmare run. XD
He also mentions here that you need to complete all arcade minigames, which isn't true. You only need to play them and can exit right away. The only ones you need to fully complete are the 3 secret ones
8:33 I don't think this is necessarily true, as I've been able to force-trip by holding sprint and rapidly changing direction. The game itself says "the longer Oswald runs, the more likely he is to trip" and thus, long stints of running also cause tripping. My guess would be there's some kind of mechanic that ticks up whenever a sprint is A) started B) hits a certain time (aka how long it goes on) C) changes directions. Which does make sense realistically, because I think a real-life human being would Also trip more often when those stats add up. I'm not a hardcore gamer tho (as of now have only gotten to n2) and I only know the basics of code, so it's likely there's more to it. Just wanted to point this out tho! Love your vids, and will now continue watching
41:28 From my personal experience, you can access the vending machine when you unlock the Party Room to do Fetch (I have video proof of this), but it's when you enter the SECRET ROOM in the Party Room Vent, where it tips over. Additionally at 42:14, I have video proof that you can do this gumball secret minigame literally in the first 5 minutes of the game, where you first enter 1985 and everyone is having a party. Funny story with my time on this game: on my very first playthrough, the Sequence Break part you're talking about (I call it "Freddy Skip"), I accidentally did on my first every run of the game to this point, and never knew there even was a 4th house escape until I watched some other streams play the game. Also, if you're not going for 3-star ending and you happen to not trade with the Game Console at the vending machine, a Freddy Mask will ALWAYS spawn on Day 4 when you open up the attic (for those who didn't know how to get the Freddy mask). The Firecracker Kid (Jeff) will accept both, as you stated Bones. For me, what helped me with the quick-time vent events that occur, it's always the same buttons so what I learned is just use peripheral vision to see which spider spawns, and I instantly know what button to press when they do for the corresponding spider. Fantastic run and I am so happy that you managed to push through this! You're a great inspiration for me to get into FNAF games actually, and recently been saving up money to pick up and buy some of the older FNAF games to play them after watching you make guides and everything! The first 2 days of playing this game and discovering everything was so much fun and I felt a completely different challenge of having to learn from scratch and talk to my friends on what to do for all endings, then make my own personal notes and guides to do them consistently and trail & error my way into completion. Thanks for being a great YTer, and I am excited to see where you go! Edit: some typos.
24:38 Bro, the slide puzzle in Resident Evil 4 2005 still gives me nightmares, I hate those puzzles too. The RE4 one is super easy if you remember how to do it, but if you screw it up, you'll spend 15+ minutes on that thing.
deadass the slide puzzle in this game is the first slide puzzle i (21yo) have ever completed legitimately and on my own and when i did so i felt wayyy more hyped than i shouldve felt. it felt like i won the lottery
i find it really funny that bones spent like 23 mins on the puzzle game, but the first time i ever did it, i completed it in 37 seconds and im usually terrible at these
It help me. I learned how to manually install driver updates *_because_* of it. (٥↼∀↼) Pretty sure it was something I used to fix an issue while following a tutorial
7:00 there’s honestly a way easier method to making noise wherever you want idk if it’s a well known glitch but I found it on night 1 of my first play through and haven’t seen anyone else use it in a video. You do need the phone so it’s usable for like 95% of the game. Just open the phone so you start dialing a number and just spam the call button no need to actually call anyone. It also won’t trigger the hiding spot minigame when you do this and if you use it with the vents you could just lure him backstage or to the entrance while you’re a few rooms away Also you don’t need to call mom when you pick up the phone all you gotta do is open it and then close it and go to a hiding spot before calling her it’s much safer but not that necessary. (Low key I’ve never seen that cellphone jumpscare since I always hide) 18:27 I’m not able to 100% confirm this but to add onto what you said by using the phone noise glitch I mentioned before he will enter your room and look around at your hiding spot then he will walk off to a random door. If you lure him back to your spot before he uses any door he will always try going to the same door over and over again so if he’s going somewhere you don’t want him to you gotta wait till he goes in there to move him 42:01 just so you know idk if it’s patched or not but there is a glitch where freaktrap can still be wandering around as a threat even after the cutscene idk why it happens but I’ve seen it happen once
Dude u gotta chill with the masochism The next videos gonna be like: Welcome to the Bones5 youtube channel, today I'm gonna beat fnaf into the pit blindfolded with my balls trapped in an electrified vice
My dude went from taking on challenges set by others to setting the foundation for future runners. Great job Bones. It's been great seeing how much you've accomplished.
I had NO idea you could customize the game so much, down to removing specific hiding spots! Man this game is such a great love letter to this community and retro games in general.
This video confirms that MatPat, the MASTER of accidentally sequence breaking every FNaF game he plays on a blind playthrough, did in fact skip some cutscenes on Night 4 involving Freddy. MatPat did eagerly pick up the firecracker right at the start of Day 4 and the firecracker scene with Freddy happened and Mat said "This is all automatic I wouldn't have known to do this at all! Did I skip a cutscene?" ...Yes Mat, yes you did... again. 💀
On the slide puzzle, assuming a numpad notation, you first always set the tile 7 on its spot, then tile om slot 8, tile 8 on slot 5, then snake them into their spots. Finall you do tile 1 on slot 4, tile 4 on slot 5, and snake them again. Then just shuffle the remainings until youre done.
11:28 Listen; Whenever somebody said "the rat" in this game or by someone playing the game, my very first thought was "THE RAT???? FNAC REFERENCE?????" and I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that lmao.
As far as I’ve observed, I believe tripping is increasingly common in darker areas. This may be the source of your seemingly unlucky experiences with tripping in the dark.
@@ducty8285 That statement implies that it's random, the only factor in question _"How_ random" - which the game essentially tells you all you need to know
steelwool having the most outlandish bag in game development is to be expected at this point like, if you told me their next fnaf game would do something like go full resident evil and has the main protagonists picking up a glock and blasting animatronics’ faces off i genuinely wouldn’t be suprised edit: correction, it was scott, my b lol. my point still stands
This game wasn't developed by Steel Wool.. and also was an idea by Scott, the developer of FNAF 1-6-World-UCN, and the 'ideas guy' for the rest of the games.
you inspired me to actually do this challenge! I just beat it first try, the phone luring strat is pretty op. not super hard but definitely not free. overall very fun challenge
Bones I think the red around the screen is an Indicator of how much you can trip. On my first casual playthrough I would almost never trip until late in the nights when I would've activated chica multiple times tripping even in present day pizzeria but as soon as I get to the next day and the red around the screen resets my tripping almost completely stops
There’s a trick you can do once you get the phone that makes luring freaktrap easier, once you have it you can hide or stand where you need him to go and spam the cal button (you don’t even have to call anyone) and it’ll peak the noise meter without having to trip, I did this a lot and it really helped me the entire game
I didn’t know ‘what we did in the desert’ was non copyright, when I heard it come on at 31:40 I started tweaking. Didn’t know bones was a breakcore enthusiast
you are growing incredibly fast! and i’m glad i found ur channel! i don’t play fnaf games often but i do like watching them, and watching ur videos are always great and ur dedication is so admirable and inspiring!!
Freaktrap should be canon. Pittrap doesn't sund right, yellow rabbit feels like some horror story and springtrap makes it confusing and inaccurate. Freaktrap perfectly fits since he's sorta like springtrap but "freaky" as hell
For the Freddy Suit hiding minigame, you can't start holding your breath right as the cutscene starts or you'll run out. You gotta start doing it once he looks at you or you'll die
You don't have to do force tripping, you can hide, open the phone and press enter twice, works every time, and is less risky because you don't have to come out of a hiding spot

Here's the table of counter values and actual stumble chances:
0 - 0% (This case should actually be impossible)
1 - 5%
2 - 10%
3 - 20%
4 - 50%
5 - 100%
So, to summarise:
The game checks if it can make a stumble attempt every time Oswald's running animation loops.
A note on "forced trips":
Forced trips are handled seperately from all the other stumble logic.
@@kittyc0n No, direction doesn't matter. You can force trip by holding shift and tapping a single movement key if you want.
yap
Is there anywhere I could go to learn about these specific counters? I'm really curious about all these different systems

@@Zumbisapecador oh sure sure. because a real grown ass adult says "lil bro" and watches fnaf videos. i'm not even 20. you aren't better, you're braindead.
Literally all other RUclipsrs I watched have done the fourth day sequence break so I never knew that you had to go back to the house on night 4
I was watching Markiplier play and when he set the firecracker I was like “why the fuck did you have to do that” cause the game gave no explanation, I didn’t even know it was a big sequence break I just thought Mark missed a cutscene.
i completely sheltered myself from spoilers for 2 months until i got the game myself and didn't know about sequence breaking 💔
a few things:
1. you can use the phone to max out the noise meter anywhere INCLUDING in a hiding spot by making two consecutive calls (the secret calls SPRINGT, MANGLE, and PUPPET make more noise iirc but don't change the amount of calls required to max out the noise meter
2. you can use the ball pit at any time on any night which doesn't require a minigame and resets the past pizzeria completely. if you'd have gone right to the ball pit instead of left to the entrance vent you'd have escaped multiple times on night 2, and it resets all animatronics in the past so long as you interact with the ball pit before being caught. iirc freddy also can't peek through the ball pit door or any bottom of screen doors so there's always a completely free path to the ball pit no matter what
3. this may have been patched, but when I played, you didn't need an extra prize voucher to get the fetch minigame, you just had to interact with the prize machine in the past specifically after getting all the prizes. but, helpules is very easy with turbo so it doesn't matter that much
4. i don't think the 'sequence break' is really a sequence break, I think it's just an alternative way to play. there have been a few patches since launch and it hasn't been fixed and there are tons of alternative methods to progress in this game so i think it's intended, even if it's not the intended way to experience it for the first time. regardless, there's no reason not to skip the ladder exit as the other three are just strictly better
also, you don't need to press A to enter doors. if you keep holding the run button and run into the door it'll auto interact for you and play a faster door enter animation than normal since you're sprinting
also also, you only have to interact with the candy machines 83 times, not 100
Entering the ball put does not reset the past pizzeria, actually
However Yellow Rabbot instantly stops the chase and proceeds to roam starting from the place he was in before you went in the ball pit
It stays loaded, and if you leave through the ball pit while Yellow Rabbit is in the ball pit room, then instantly go back you will see him leaving through the door
@@kurocat471 It's better only if you have no other ways to escape, otherwise it's a huge time loss
There's a way to improve the forced tripping by making Oswald go back and forth very fast. Matpat discovered that during his playthrough and it seems to work very well, making him trip pretty much every time. That aside, huge congrats and awesome vid 🔥

Another amazing video from the goat himself! Here’s a bit extra for missing the last few videos (I’m preparing for college lol)
I really like the art style of this game, and the character designs are amazing, especially Freaktrap lol
Good news!
So thank you, random stranger who makes content online, for having undeniable, contagious tenacity :)

engagement-boosting anecdote: i immediately made a script to press my e button once a millisecond and cheesed the helpules cabinet until i had 100 tickets (nice round number) on night 2. the next night, i went to redeem my tickets because i wanted the rocket ship oz would mention when inspecting the prize machine. having five vouchers, i got the game console, all three stickers, and the fetch minigame. jet said he wanted something he couldn't get anywhere else, so i figured the console would count and went to him at the first opportunity, netting myself a firecracker.
watching this video is my first time learning how night 4 is actually supposed to go. i had an inkling that i had skipped some content when oz instantly deployed the firecracker with no comment, but i had no idea just how much sequence i broke. in my playthrough oz is either a clairvoyant or willing to set off a firework in front of the security door for nothing but the thrill of the flames

Crazy run! You are seriously the GOAT with this stuff!
Here's some improvements that can be made for this run:
For the phone in Night 1, when you first get it, you can just hide before calling mom and skip a chase.
Had to pause immediately because I had to process the fact that you seriously just called Into the Pit "Top-down"
tbf it is MORE top down than typcial fnaf games but def not top down in general
diagonal down
8:33 I don't think this is necessarily true, as I've been able to force-trip by holding sprint and rapidly changing direction.

It also won’t trigger the hiding spot minigame when you do this and if you use it with the vents you could just lure him backstage or to the entrance while you’re a few rooms away
Also you don’t need to call mom when you pick up the phone all you gotta do is open it and then close it and go to a hiding spot before calling her it’s much safer but not that necessary. (Low key I’ve never seen that cellphone jumpscare since I always hide)
18:27 I’m not able to 100% confirm this but to add onto what you said by using the phone noise glitch I mentioned before he will enter your room and look around at your hiding spot then he will walk off to a random door. If you lure him back to your spot before he uses any door he will always try going to the same door over and over again so if he’s going somewhere you don’t want him to you gotta wait till he goes in there to move him
42:01 just so you know idk if it’s patched or not but there is a glitch where freaktrap can still be wandering around as a threat even after the cutscene idk why it happens but I’ve seen it happen once

these runs are always really cool, steel soul, mein leben, ultra nightmare. requiring no errors for 3-4 hours is ludicrous, even for a game like this.
Did I skip a cutscene?" ...Yes Mat, yes you did... again. 💀
Pro tip for those who will attempt nightmare difficulty: You can force trip way faster repeatedly turning left and right while sprinting
