St. Vitus has the absolute best sound guy in the country for small venues... it's incredible for the bands who have played here!!!!

I saw Mutoid Man in Paris last year, they were opening for Kvelertak and Mastodon. That was a great show. I had a little chat with Nick at the end outside the venue. I was acting like a Mutoid Fan with all the Mutoid stuff I bought there. Great time.
And I can finally hear my favorite MM song "Bandages" live cause they just played the intro in Paris :(

So much fun and still so heavy and technical.
I miss doing the lights in small clubs like this. I had so much fun. Even though I had no idea what the bands were going to play, I tried to give the best light show I could. It was a blast.
Probs my gonna watch this another hundred times before I get to see them for reals in September!… the most fun metal band ever 😂

Definitely! Honestly more bands should play The Ryman. One of the best sounding venues I've been to. Only problem is the seats are church pews and moshing dont go well with them haha. Mastodon ripped the Ryman a new one a few years back. Hell of a show!
Troy Walker - If they had a big enough show for the Ryman, I would be there, but I hear you on lack of venues in Nashville. Basement East is gone (for now??) and Exit/IN on the way out ... what are we going to do in the future? Once you evolve past the five bars, the future is limited.
We need some more venue's for sure. I feel like after this blows over the shows will be insane.

saw Mutoid Man live back in 2015 with the unfortunately named grindcore band Piss Vortex as support, was every bit as entertaining an experience as this

I think it's adorable that Steven flubs Bandages. He muffed it a bit in the Kerrang video as well if you've seen that one. The dude can clearly play it; it's just an emotional song from a band that enjoys being mostly silly. Singing and playing an intro like that alone can be nerve wracking for even a veteran performer

watching this, i mean Mutoid Man are just sick....but i get kinda sad. this is the first video of Gwarsenio really just being a performing musical artist. not jokey covers as part of a parody style talk show. he's really amazing. as much as i love TM2LN as a show, and he's clearly happy doing it...i just get a little sad that he had some musical projects that didn't work out to the level of success of a Mutoid Man or a Cave In. at least the show is there as an alternative to keep the creativity and talent going in it's own way.
