Have an idea for another song, how about Pat benatar fire & ice with one of your awesome female singer
Keyboard player is the MVP here. Nails the Boston sound, and the 70s socks/shorts set kills!
Don't forget that WKRP shirt!
I've seen Emily play with Shearwater. She truly is the real deal!
She totally nails it, it’s good to know a real musician
Right!? The keyboard intro fucking MAKES that song
She's Asian. She's probably the best musician on that stage.
Well, well, well. RUclips's algorithms finally recommended something cool. Why did it take four years for Two Minutes to show up in my feed?
Ha the same thing happened to me yesterday. I saw this exact video show up on my feed and then I fell into the hole that is the channel and I'm just scratching my head how its flown under my RUclips radar for so long.
Yep...saw the cover of Steely Dan another band from FM radio we were all hooked to. Never thought these songs would be back IN SUCH A WAY rock on completely
That's about how long it takes for a new episode to come out, so you haven't missed a lot really.
*raises hand* Yep.
Just found this channel and it's my new favorite thing of all time. This is something metal has needed for awhile, it's so much fun and fresh
Gwarsenio wearing that wig really begins to illustrate the narrow gap between black metal musician and circus clown.
I'm so triggered rn.
HAHAHA! :)
It’s the badger make up that black metal musicians tend to wear that makes me think is this serious???? 🤨🤨🤨
@@zombiematt2006
The makeup is only one part of the full stage outfit that they wear, no one is pairing that with a suit and tie or any other sort of normal clothes.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT IS FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I steal this??
This gave me more than one feeling.
I see what you did there!!!!
Gwarsenio's aggresive staring while clapping and gyrating at the 3:48 mark was glorious.
I couldn’t decide what I loved more...that...or the crab walk Gwarsenio did at 1:17 to get back to stomp a pedal. IT WAS PHENOMENAL.
10 months later and I still watch this weekly.
2 years later and I'm listening to this daily.
@@philipgwyn8091 i just watched last night. lol
2 years later i am watching this hourly. 😅
That first Boston album was so goddamn good. Underrated and overlooked by a lot of metal fans. Huge props for that guitar tone also
Every track is a banger, might as well double as their greatest hits.
It's one of the best selling albums of all time ,but yes generally overlooked by metal fans. The singer in this cover is clearly talented, but I don't think anybody really touches 70s Delpinator. I'd love to hear her singing some doom metal.
Boston is what you listen to in a elevator or doctors offices.
kip klages - hey man, don’t forget airports
Went thru a few of these 8 tracks,thanks....
The "Smells Like Teen Spirit" solo really made me laugh out loud. This was a top notch cover (the singing was out of this world), but the solo really put it over the top. Well done!
Holy Sh*t! Sarabeth arriving mid-song like a titan with that booming voice just obliterated me. She, and her band Tower has a new fan.
AND that outfit! 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
@@tallicdeth I didn't even make the 70s connection right away. My brain was like, "Jumpsuit with plunging neckline? That's just what lead singers wear."
that adds a lot to the video, I like when musicians put a lot of work into having a distinctive fashion sense@@tallicdeth
I never realised how much of Baroness' sound was the drums. Because that instantly sounds like Baroness, just from the drummer. The dude is a bad ass.
the previous baroness drummer, Allen Blickle, was a beast of a drummer too.
Will it blow your mind to know that is the case with any band. Tell your friend to play you songs featuring a drummer or from a band you know of and you will instantly recognise their sound and playing. Ive experienced this many times
The most RUclips response ever 🙄
If you haven’t checked out Trans Am, do yourself a favor and dig deep into their luscious wonderfulness. So good. (The most recent incarnation of Baroness, to me, seems to revolve around that awesome, crunchy bass sound. Especially Gold & Grey. People crap on the mix, but man the bass is so awesome. )
My music teacher always said the rhythm section makes the band everything else is window dressing
There’s something about absurdity where if you push it far enough it goes all the way around the horn to become total sincerity and the only thing that’s real. When that young woman is dancing with that young man with the painted face while the other young man plays “ smells like teen spirit” for no apparent reason? That just feels so real to me in this moment. It represents something bigger than all of you. I can’t begin to tell you how much sense your show makes to me even when I don’t understand it which is frequent.
Massively said. They are a wonderful group of people and all I do is smile when I watch them
Metal has always been about 'togetherness' and the sincere desire to celebrate our collective existence, history and future... at least to me...
nirvana was accused of ripping off more than a feeling for the SLTS riff, pretty sure it was just a nod to that
@@camw621 after the racist hard-core movement and church burnings from early black metal, there hasn't been much of a violent history to metal. I did have to leave an Anal Cunt show in the early 2000s when some skin heads showed up and started shit... i wasn't there to see them tho, my friends opened for them
Imagine being that shallow and incoherent to think that this is anything other than cheesy cheap entertainment !?
Her singing is insane here. Great cover.
Insane-ly bad
This shits insane. First i come across the Rush Anthem cover now this. Awesome
same here
Check out Dead Man's Party cover by Two Minutes...in the style of Iron Maiden...if you aren't blown away I'd be surprised
She Watch Channel Zero will fuck you all up lol
Damn! She can sing! Great job breathing life into a song that’s been played trillions of times on classic rock radio. Keep these coming.
who is she?
@@thejamesarm Sarabeth from Tower
@@thejamesarm Yeah, she's brilliant! Check out her band here: ruclips.net/video/M2o-Qc6iz10/видео.html
Her voice is simply awesome, and besides, she's super hot IMO.
Yea Sheldon’s wife has been busy since big bang theory ended.
This channel needs more love. These covers are amazing and well produced.
@@twerktospec The editing, sound production, the collaboration....I dunno all of it lol?
Hell yes they are!
I want to see this exact band play everything else please.
preach Brother :(
Had to listen to this over and over. Through good speakers its absolutley massive. The drummer is an absolute monster
When she started singing I was totally blown away - pure bloody magic!
Brad Delp is smiling upon them! Just fantastic! Bravo!
Who else watches this daily?? Probably the greatest cover of Boston evvvvvahh!
This is awesome but Gwar doing Kansas "carry on..." really made me think first, about the quality in covering these older ones
Meh. Not a fan of her trying a vibratto hitting the long notes. The instruments were great, and I think she's a good singer, but I just don't see it with this particular song.
Nah, Dino Jelusick has the best
ruclips.net/video/Hqy6O8no_Ic/видео.htmlsi=ypnC749mVhB7QE3E
Seriously
ruclips.net/video/Hqy6O8no_Ic/видео.htmlsi=86V4h3OK6mvDJu8- this is the best one, hands down!!
Those vocals are so very good
emily is sooooooooo locked IN!!! those keys tie everything together perfectly... and are the stand out during "foreplay."
This cover got me into Tower four years ago and I had to come back to check it out again. Yep. It still rocks.
I still have no idea why this isn’t the best funded patreon/most subscribed RUclips. Y’all are the best and all the new videos have been amazing during these times
Maybe because they pick songs and bands that suck
This is the heaviest cover of Boston I’ve ever heard
Yet when I hear the original, I always think of how good it would be as a hardcore song.
This is one of the best performances on the net.
Words can't describe the talent here.
one of the greatest 8 minutes ever on youtube
The keyboardist has Larry Bird shorts and crazy long socks with a WKRP shirt. Oh yeah and they did a great job. Classic.
Hell Yes! Whoever you people are, keep it up! (I'm an old dude... adolescent in the 70s)
With over a 100 people not liking this rendition shows the world is lost. Rock on!
Brodsky looks so much like Jon Glaser in that wig. And then we all got Jamm'd.
Christian Pittman I could NOT HAVE SAID THAT BETTER!
I laughed like an asshole at this
Hahaha perfect. Treat cho self
still can't get over how good this performance is.
EM-LEE is legit all the time but really is able to show off in this one and I love it.
Never heard of Tower before and had to look into them because the singer is incredible! Good shit.
I had to look up Tower so I could learn more about the vocalist. Sarabeth Linden is an incredible vocalist. 2m2 brings some of the best talent in to do these covers and I get an education about current acts/bands. Nice.
Man tower is fantastic! I love the old school sound they have and her voice is so damn good
A bit heavy on the goat bleeeeeeaaaaaaattt
@@georgehedgepeth2661 You mean her vibrato? Her's doesn't bother me so much, but that's just personal taste. I understand what you mean though. There are artists that I can't have discussions with other people about because people love them and their vocal phrasing drives me crazy.
Thanks! I was searching the comments for this info
This is my favorite cover so far. The energy onstage is what Rock n Roll is all about.
So cool! Sarabeth Walking up to the mic with all the attitude makes me smile every time.
Someone beat me to the Cher reference...nailed it! What a voice! Got goosebumps per se... you guys rock
Now I understand why Emily was practicing this one in her insta stories. 😎
Great job! sounds amazing! 🙌
I love how much fun it looked like Sebastian was having.
took me a minute to recognise brodsky in that outfit! nick and sebastian are one of the tightest rhythm sections playing together today, more baroness on the show is always welcome
Thought he kinda looked like Prince back when he was rockin that little afro for a minute back in the day, lol.
@@blackphillip8486
I got Lenny Kravitz vibes, but yeah Prince too.
💜
Was in H.S. circa 79 and always tried to keep our suburban parties fun. Boston was on rock radio all the time.. I'd put on Ramones, Blondie, Television... Cheap Trick. GREAT VID YOU ALL now I'm a fan.
I couldn’t agree more. This was Boston’s finest effort.
Great pipes
Proves my point---70s Dad Rock rules then and now. As a teen when Kiss, Aerosmith, Sabbath and the like were "New Bands", warms my heart to see the youngins pay tribute to the era...keep it up.
These are goddamn "Super Group" collaborations! I have enjoyed all of them. I heard a rumor these were available for purchase, I can't find them anywhere.
I would pay good money for a collection of these covers, they kick ass!!
I love Baroness. I love 2m2. This was awesome to wake up too.
i started laughing so hard at the last Brodsky solo that i dropped my phone and had to start the video over. The gift that keeps on giving.
Love this show. Just discovered it (I don;t even know how) last night. Sending money now. Also, digging the King Gizzard Flying Microtonal Banana tee on the bassist.
I guess Brodsky lives closer to St Vitus than the other members of Mutoid Man? He will turn out for anything :)
holy shit that girl is amazing the whole this was on point guys
I have never been let down from these dudes. Everytime its GOLD.
I just finished watching your awsome channel on a video you shared. I truly can't begin to express how awsome you are!
There is only one fault with this song . . It finishes. This is perfection in entertainment.
I am in an intense parasocial relationship with Two Minutes to Late Night. LOVE THIS THREE THOUSAND
You too? We need a support group
I can’t get enough of this. I think this is the 10th time in a week I’ve been back here.
bass player and singer are two of the coolest people I've ever seen
An off-key Nirvana interlude that fit in a strange way.
Decades from now, some broke-down chicken-plant worker will be skateboarding to work, drinking his morning Four Loko, singing this version of the song (because it’s the only one he’s ever seen) while filming himself on his phone. The video will go viral, and millions of all-of-a-sudden lifelong Boston fans will get the royalty machine pumping dough back into some ex-wife’s, grandkid’s trust fund. Heck yes!
I like to think that some lifelong Boston fan(s) will come back to life and put something else into their ex-wife...
Its already happened and was the og version in another multiverse
😂
If that ain't the American dream, I dunno what is.
Was good until they sang…
This cover many me SO HAPPY. You guys had fun, made me smile, and nailed the cover itself. Great. Great. Great. THANK YOU!
I really miss all these sessions. This music saved my life during the covid lock downs and I will always appreciate that for the rest of my life. RIP to everyone that had to die from covid.
Wow the singer crushes it!
Epic cover. Great key work.
Vocals were awesome! Huge voice! You all are crushing these covers!
Wow, this was awesome! Special shout outs to the two ladies who've absolutely killed it! Dat voice, and dose keyboards take this already excellent performance to another level.
Baritone guitar?
Holy moly the vocal 🌟
I have no idea how my pants disappeared. They're just...gone.
im from the Pittsburgh area, and for real found a random pair of pants on the side of the road earlier tonight.
@@j.j.6327 Actually those might be mine...
Mike awesome
Man, Boston is one of my favorite all time bands. This was so fun to watch and hear!
Awesome, love the singer
Goddamn, Emily took no prisoners. I'd love to see Baroness tour with Mutoid on the other side of this pandemic. Also, shoutout to Saint Vitus - go back their Kickstarter if you haven't!
I can't think of a tour I'd rather see
I saw them play together on the Purple Tour
Who is Emily again man that's a serious voice
Not a Boston fan... city or otherwise, however this rocks. Thanks so much for not over emphasizing their patented riff, and nailing the song in spirit, and an enjoyable jab at the era!
I really dig the way they are smiling - you can tell they know what they’re doing is good and that
they’re having fun.
Just when I think these covers cant get any better, they release this. Great job guys!
Well, I guess I now know what Boston would sound like fronted by Cher...🤔🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha😂😂😂😂
Cher wishes she had a set of lungs like that 🤔 probably jealous of the voice too 😷🤘
Cher would kill for a voice like that. Then probably drink the victim's blood because... well... Cher.
Or Elvira Mistress of the Dark🤣
HA!! Nice shout out there! Smells Like Teen Spirit was created making fun of this song, and you guys go full circle by putting it back into this song. Gave me major LOLs.
I had a rotten no good day and am in a foul mood. This put a smile on my face. Thank you. You guys rock! 🤘
WKRP in Ciiiiiincinatti!
😂😂yes
The drummer is really good .
Dude! These videos & covers are AMAZE BALLS!!! ❤👏👏🤟🤟🤟🤟😜
This is one of the most uplifting things I've seen in months
Sara rules. Saw them about four years ago in Atlanta, GA in a skate warehouse. It was sick.
also the vocalist DESTROYED this cover and I’d like everyone to take a minute both to check out Tower and also to appreciate just how completely insane Brad Delp’s vocals were on the entire Boston s/t album.
@Patrick Bertlein lotta musicians do.w da drugs and booze. RIP
She has grit in her voice sooo many if these hot female singers lack. No one duplicate it but she does it her own way and she nauled.it. they all did.
Patrick Bertlein - I lived in the same town as him, his daughter went to school with my sister. Our music teacher openly wept in class when he heard the news.
He had a Beatles cover band that was amazing, too. He was def a big influence on me as a kid 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah -- she's a KILLER vocalist with a hell of an edge, especially in her uppermost register! Absolutely ferocious
I'm pretty sure she is riffing Cher here and it totally works!
Thank you for this stuff! Awesome covers!
Keep rocking it! All of you had me joining in on air guitar. Simply awesome cover of a classic. Your singer is just beautiful and awesome. To all of you I raise a toast. Cheers! And keep on rocking.
I didnt know they recruited Lenny Kravitz.
😂 there is something pleasingly strange about this Band. Elvira vocals, the guitarist who did'nt pass the Kiss audition. You should call yourself the Misfitz. I Love what you're doing all joking aside. Great Musicianship and great stage presence. Hope to see and hear more. Much Love and respect. IGGYFRITZ 😎
He did the Abbath crab walk. Amazing.
I choked on my drink a bit when he broke into it. Lol
This was pleasantly watchable! Thank you!
YAAAASSSS. Boston is such a great band to cover. I loved everything about this.
Oh for the love of all things decent, can you goons release these covers on Apple Music and Spotify already?? What do we gotta do?? Start threatening people??? C’mon!!!
Pay for licensing fees and royalties or something like that.
@Siopao.Sauce, wouldn’t they have to do that anyway if these videos are monetized? Honest question, I’m not being a douche.
@@jefferygreenacre7056 we don't monetize. But you can support us by checking out our patreon www.honorableswords.com
I always thought Boston was metal as hell. Proto power metal lol
Bloody hell!
I didn't know I needed that so badly...
This is an absolutely amazing cover!!!!!
Sebastian lookin like Christopher Lloyd in the Dennis the Menace Movie
"Whatcha eatin there, sport?"
Wednesday Adams looking fine as hell these days...and bringing the VOCALS
Horse race Face !? 🤢 🤮
You're joking, right? No? Well...to each his own, I suppose.
Wow. Beautiful rendition. Good singing and good playing.
Jeezussss.....this was frickin awesome! Bravo!!!!
Fantastic. You really need to cover a Heart song with Sarabeth.
Totally. Barracuda
Cher just keeps making comebacks!🤪
Awesome...simply AWESOME!
I love you all. Thank you for making this Monday fly.
