The Honey Pot is a Trap-like Checkpoint device used to lockdown certain areas. Similar to the 'Guardian'
My guess for the Honeypot is that it's either an ammo pile or a deployable health pickup
Leaks I've seen say it's a trapped care package. From what I understand from leakers, we will see a trapped care package option in some form

Accounting for inflation the RC-XD should be around 600 points by todays standard.
Honeypot, at least in digital terms, is a computer that is purposely easy to hack outside of a network. A lot companies have this as a distraction that strays hackers away from computers within the main network. So probably just a trapped care package, that makes the most sense.

I'm hoping Treyarch starts listening to the fanbase on mulitplayer like Sledgehammer. Plus I hope Treyarch adds as much versatile content and include 2x XP, 24/7 fan favorite modes like Sledgehammer does in multiplayer when the games lifecycle is done. This will add replay-ability as time passes.
Treyarch, please be more like Sledgehammer with multiplayer.
