Dream, however your missing out from the diesels! From a 1998 HZJ80 1HZ GX diesel, 425 000km😅 South Africa.
I thought it’s his preference. Mostly he may not need all the torque from diesel motor, maybe.
@@boxoffisa I think its rather got to do with the US not allowing diesel manufacturing/imports due to some dumb emissions law

You should try to get your hands on a south american 80 series. Specially a Venezuelan one, which is the country with the newest 80 series, up to the year 2007. And they have quite a few unique variants that would be of your interest, specially with the LX model, which is called "Autana".
You can even get your hands on a 2007 LX with the 4 headlights.
That’s FZJ80G. The model you are talking about was made from 1995 - 2007. It’s a great car. I saw a guy who bought and paint it green for tourism but it will go anywhere.
@@boxoffisa Indeed. But they still have a few variations over the years. For example all the FZJ80 were Carburated until the 98 model, even the VX ones. Also none of them had airbags until the 2000-2001 model, and many other variants between each model year. Venezuela is an odd an very interesting market for the 80 series and Land Cruisers in general.
And you can drive only one at the time sadly. Great 4x4's.

In North Borneo, Malaysia, we called the first LC you showed there as Toyota Hardtop. There's actually still few on the road.
Seeing your collection reminds me of Yemen. My uncle has a 1997 FJZ80 5MT VXR Limited in gold on 2 tone brown/tan interior with the fridge, barn doors and 2nd tank garage kept in brand new condition. He also has a 2006 UZJ100 VXR Limited 5mt V8 similar in specs but gun metal grey color in immaculate condition. He only drives a LX570 as his daily while the Land Cruisers stay locked up in the garage.

Love the decals on the Saudi cars gives me some ideas for decals after I respray mine. You need to find a 4 head light early model and a turbo diesel. I'm in Aus and have been trying to find a early model with 4 headlights, barn doors and vinyl floors with manual windows in the diesel with low kms and 045 white colour and the factory PTO winch for years.
