tbh, I don't want that. He's so perfect as an assist trophy. Everything about him represents how he is in Tellius. He's unbeatable, can appear in an instant out of nowhere, kill anyone in sight, strike fear into anyone who sees him, walks slowly, demonstrating how calm and unthreatened he is no matter the situation, etc. Plus he'd most likely be bad because of how slow he is, and idk if I want him to be fast either.
Yeah, I would love if he was an echo fighter of Ike, it would work also with the fact that alondite and Ragnell are twin swords and Ike is pretty slow and heavy in smash. So like the black knight could be a bit slower but do more damage.

Also he can Teleport and he's actually one of the fastest characters in telleus games. Proven in the first dialogue against the Laguz. He's branded too unlike Ike. So his strength is greater than Ike's.

Considering how the BK is represented in Smash as an assist trophy, they view him as a slow juggernaut with extreme strength and defense. Not only would it make sense from a thematic perspective to make him an echo fighter of Ike, but also from a gameplay perspective. I’m not saying the BK is slow in the tellius games, but it is also to not that gameplay wise, in RD he is pretty slow for that game’s standards and smash is also not the most faithful game when considering the original work it is based on.

This is the one FE Villian who should have actually made it into the smash roster. He would be a great addition instead of just another self-insert protag. I would sacrifice, Byleth, Corrin, or Robin to get this vastly superior character. Edit: He would basically be if Meta Knight was a slow heavy with an obscenely high attack power since he is fully capable of warping.
Why Corrin and Robin who are important to roster? I rather replace Chrom or Lucina (who are clones these 2 characters) or Byleth (who is somewhat a rushed character).

When I see him, I don't try fighting him. I run. Just like in Path of Radiance, he's too dangerous.
