The alt revolver is not an upgrade. It’s an addition to the arsenal. For example the regular coin gun shoots faster and can split the coin into two shots, while the alt coin gun shoots slower with more damage, and it doesn’t split coins. (Also psst: Throw a coin into the fountain in 1-1)
alternate marksman excels in single-target damage (such as in boss fights where the second hit of a stock marksman splitshot will more often than not go to waste) and against enemies without weakpoints that are targeted by coins, such as malicious faces, radiant drones, virtues, insurrectionists, and guttertanks alternate marksman splits also reset the swap cooldown of all equipped alternate revolvers, not just the one that hit the splitshot
Not gonna lie, that last room in 4-3 was kinda clean, you‘re getting better. One tip though: you get healing from standing near an enemy while it‘s getting damaged, no matter the source of that damage. The melee is certainly a way to do that, but a shotgun blast, charge shot or nailgun volley will heal you quicker and safer
You should know: 1. Change weapons often! on the right, you have a style meter, which has a freshness meter as well (which goes from FRESH 1.50X, USED 1.00X, STALE 0.50X and DULL 0.00X, each dictate the amount of Style Points you'll get with the weapon) the higher rank of Style, the faster HARD DAMAGE will go down, ( which if you don't know, it's the grey part of your health bar when you get hit, it's there so you don't just go guns blazing and come out at 100 hp) at the highest rank (ULTRAKILL) you will not have hard damage 2. Learn your enemies! go into the terminal and read out the lore and weaknesses of the common enemies, you'll find extra info that'll give you the upper hand on each encounter, such as the fact that you can "Chargeback" Maurices (In-game name for The Malicious Face and mot used name from the community) Laser, using a coin from the Marksman, time it right and it'll go back to them and kill them in one shot 3. TRY NEW STUFF. this isn't doom where weapons have zero synergy with each other, weapons have each a purpose AND ways to use them out of the box, just ask yourself, "Wouldn't it be cool if...?" and 99% of the time, you'll be right (Short point but OK) 4. NEVER get pressured onto any of these tips, all I see on the comments are Sweaty tryhards that have reached round 99 on the Cybergrind and just want the newbies to "Git Gud" you should go on your own pace! you can play on any difficulty, use whatever weapon combo you like the most! use Game assists if you need to! (Settings option btw) Hope that'll be some useful stuff, and remember: MANKIND IS DEAD BLOOD IS FUEL HELL IS FULL
Also, if you go back in 4-4, after the first bouncepad there is another door that has a blue skull in it, the door is only slightly open, but open enough for the wiplash to get through (yes the wiplash can grab items) then if you shoot the blue railcannon in the water sorrounding (I dunno how to spell that word) the blue skull a secret door will open and there will be the alternate version of the nailgun
Very important tip here. I've managed to separate ranged attacks into 3 sections that determine their most important interactions. You should look out for them each time you get a new weapon. Also, try to mix and match different weapon abilities together. Hitscan: has no travel time. Goes from point A to point B in an instant. *EVERY* hitscan can hit coins from the marksman no matter the source of the attack. Projectile: Usually goes in a straight line, and gravity doesn't apply to it. Has travel time. Exceptions are the yellow mortar projectiles and the blue homing projectiles. *EVERY* projectile can be parried and shot by the sharpshooter's secondary shot to blow it up no matter the source of the attack. Object: This one is a bit more complicated. They have travel time and are usually (not always) affected by gravity. Those attacks tend to have more strategical or interaction-based uses such as the coins, the magnets, the rockets, and the core (grenade) from the blue shotgun. Those rules apply to most of the enemie's ranged attacks, too, hence why i keep saying "no matter the source." You should also carefully read the info tab if weapons as it can definitely help you use them better.
@VojniczkisChannel v2's nailgun is not a projectile since it's affected by gravity. I consider it an object. Only some objects can be parried, such as the cannonball
@@Arobloxian-k4z and i will CTRL + C CTRL + V if it is required for him to see this comment. Unless it's actually a bad tip and i'm not aware of it. Is it?
Strangely pretentious to say "IVE managed to separate them" when these are just the normal attack types every shooter uses, and rockets and magnets are projectiles since the only thing separating an object from a projectile is gravity, which neither of them have
tip with virtues (the angels who smite you) you can parry them like maurice by punching them when there are pink particles coming off of them (also they enrage in 5 attacks which means the attack now predicts movement)
the things with the explosions is if you hit the fuel tank in the back of a streetcleaner they explode, or if you hit a projectile with the secondary fire of the red revolver it will explode.
heres some tips: 1. Coins ignore enemy collision, meaning shooting a coin behind an enemy makes the blue railcannon hit the enemy TWICE doubling the damage. (THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH THE RED AND GREEN RAILCANNON) Great for the big guys like cerberus (the statue enemies), mindflayers (stupid blue woman thing) basically any enemy with lots of hp. 2. Getting an ULTRAKILL rank on your style meter disables hard damage (max hp limiter), try using coins and explosions mid air for as much style as possible. 3. Pump charge shotgun (green variant) and knuckle blaster combo is great for taking out maurices. 4. Hitting a core eject grenade with the malicious railcannon makes a HUGE explosion taking out most small enemies, I recommend dashing during the hitstop time frame (white flash) to avoid taking damage (this applies to the pump charge shotgun overpump as well, though since theres no hit stop you have to dash right before firing). 5. Use the screwdriver railcannon (green railcannon) on bosses if you’re in DESPERATE need of health. 6. Parrying sanded enemies attacks still regains health. 7. In 4-4 (V2 rematch), you can shoot the water with the electric railcannon where the blue skull is to unlock the alternate variant for the nailgun. And some details that you missed: 1. A new enemy in 4-2 (God Damn the Sun) can sand enemy upon death, hence why it was beeping. 2. You can only shoot the coin with the electric and malicious railcannon, not the screwdriver since its a projectile and not hitscan
the recommended arsenal for the revolver is: alternate blue (it's like a railcannon substitute) default green (the speed of the default is better) and red is up to you, I prefer alternate red
default red for if you want it purely for exploding projectiles (autoaim on default is too inconsistent to hit stuff more than once-twice per shot) alt red for damage and aoe kinda
The streetsweeper (flamer robots) have explosive tanks on their backs, so coins will target them and sharpshooter ricochet shots can hit them as well. Also, you can definitely melee with dual wielding
to get an alternate version of the minigun or nailgun. in the 2nd v2 fight instead of doing the sand parkour thingy grab the skull with the whiplash and shoot the water with the electric railcannon then go back between the blue skull room and the parkour and there should be a secret room that opened up
I’m really starting to like this playthrough, a few tips btw, you can use your ricochet revolver on maurice’s normal attack, exploding it in front of them almost killing it instantly. Also, if you are being swarmed by a horde of filth, use v2’s arm to kill them all with the shockwave. You can also punch your coins
I don’t know if someone already said this but you can dash and jump at the same time to get a speed boost and if you it slide really quickly right as you hit the ground then jump you can keep that speed. Also you can do that same sliding mechanic with changing direction to keep your speed up. You can also slam then immediately slide after to go faster
Tips for the revolver: Use alternate piercer as its just better than default, hits harder and the reload isn't that long The other 2 revolvers are up to your preference. The alternate marksman has the harder M1 with the reload, and coins are relatively the same, the difference comes with split shots, instead of hitting 2 enemies, it hits the same enemy harder and instantly reloads The alternate sharpshooter instead of having 3 charge shots, has 1 charge shot that hits harder and has a longer cooldown I personally recommend default marksman, alternate piercer and sharpshooter, as you can get the alternate marksman's effects if you throw a coin and switch to a different alternate revolver to shoot it
alternates are not really a direct upgrade, (more a side grade to change how you play). for the pistol, the default is weak but spammable and the alt is slow but powerful. they can also change how the alt function may work. the default marksman can split the coin shot causing damage to several enemies, while the alternate coin shot can cause more damage, piercing, and even allow the next shot to fire quicker (the little spin it does).
Ay bro, when you use the shotgun if you bind change variant to a button, if you swap shotgun variants just after firing it resets the shotguns reload animation letting you shoot faster
All of the alt pistols primary fire is slower but shoots two bullets at once that pierce and does not have locational damage, making it better for healing against weaker enemies. Alt Blue has slower recharge on it's charged shot but does more damage and piercing. Green's coin functions the same between the two but when shot with any of the alt revolvers it instead adds more damage and piercing to the shot rather than splitting. Alt Red has 1 charge that has a longer cooldown but spins up almost instantly, the aim assist on ricochets is more lenient and when destroying a projectile with it (like in 10:48) , the explosion does more damage.
Actually hold the R button to use the whiplash without the risk of falling or not fully pulling the light enemies together. Do not abuse the whiplash as it builds hard damage, depending on how much style. Ex your style is D you get about 50 hard damage, which means that you cannot heal with blood until that hard damage is gone(hard damage can be seen on your health bar,it's that grey line) Add back the knuckleblaster, you can use G to cycle through the feedbacker (blue arm) and knuckleblaster ( red arm). Or you can add separate buttons to each so you can use them without cycling through (Go to options, controls and set for feedbacker as F and for knuckleblaster G,and put a random button from your keyboard on the cycle control so you,has to be one you don't use). The red nailgun variant deals more damage to multiple enemies if you connect it to a enemy and then blast nails into them, really works well with the green variant of the nailgun (overheat) go back to 4-4 and go to the door that is slightly open and use the whiplash on the blue skull there will be water on the floor, use the railcannon and a door will open at the entrance. Also switch back the coin marksman to the base version,it's faster The green shotgun can be pumped( as in it's name, pump charge shotgun),use it close range or parry your bullets for far range You can combine the whiplash with the pump shotgun by stacking the pumps to max and whiplashing towards a big enemy, then release the shotgun and dodge at the righ time to not take any damage thanks to the immunity frames the red shotgun is a chainsaw, it can be released and punched when coming back to you so it goes to another enemy,it will come back to you and so on. You can shoot a coin and punch it,the damage on it will stack and if you shoot another coin, the second coin will hit the first one and deal more damage, this works especially with v2's coins (the red lights) and they can be railcannoned For enemies: You CAN parry the corpse of king minos punches, get the timing right In 4-2 you can find the item where the first angel spawns, around the stairs you will put the item on the pedestal and you will be able to walk around the map look aroud for some light and you will find something in 4-3,where the pillars rise when you light up the fire, you can sit on those pillars and reach a secret that will help you make quicker work in the room Also in 4-3,there is a secret boss, which can be found by breaking a wall in the room with a spawnpoint and that is after the pillar room Do the fight before going to 4-4 for the whiplash thing i said above.
you can get a secret item in clair de soliel (where v2 2nd fight is) in the crack where you see the skull you can shoot the water with electric railgun to unlock something
I think the most rad thing with the revolver is the +quickshot style you can get with slab. With good accuracy comes insta killing lower husks and machines and S ranking style. Also idk if you've tried out the red shotgun but it's my favorite gun lol.
may i come in clutch again: revolver loadout should be normal piercer and normal marksman, alt (or slab) sharpshooter, btw theres a secret slab in 4-4 u need to be precise with the whiplash to grab the blue skull, then u need to shoot the water with the blue rail and then a door opens up revealing the sawblade (slab version of nailgun [or minigun]) also side note: u can punch the drill with feedbacker to get extra style points and do all damage w/ screwdriver (maurice oneshot babieee)
another tip with railcannons is that you cant use the green railcannon to shoot the coins because it just phases thru them (just wanted to point that out so you dont have a hard time trust me it gets harder later in the game)
The coins target the weakspots of enemies, so the exploding ricoshot is just hitting the streetcleaners gas canister causing the explosion, this can happen with any weapon i believe, you can destroy the gas canisters on their corpses and it will explode
level 4-2 is the secret level for the greed layer, once you get to the main room you can find a path on the outside of the blue skull side that will take you to a red button this button opens a red door at the first arena outside of the main room near the sand inside it you can find a pedestal with a moon on a stick on it, take it and put it on the pedestal on top of the main room, once completed the world will turn to nighttime making the sand not hurt you, then an orb will spawn in the sky, go to it and you will find the entrance to the secret level under it
Learn slam storage, which if used can get you launched 4 light years away from the surface in 0.6 miliseconds. Jump while pressed against a wall and slam, right before hitting the ground jump, and upon landing jump again.
You should try to get the best ranks possible after beating the entire game, to get the best rank in a level 1-you shouldnt die at all 2-you need to have S style at the end results 3-You need to kill EVERY enemy in the level 4-You need to beat the level as quick as possible to get a S in time Doing this will result in a P rank, if you P rank the entire ACT 1, a door will open in act 1, i wont spoil what happens If you P rank the entire Act 2, A secret door also opens similar to ACT 1. alternates are not really a direct upgrade, (more a side grade to change how you play). for the pistol, the default is weak but spammable and the alt is slow but powerful.

How did bro entirely miss the Stalker enemy demonstration? Stalkers are the ones that sand enemies
tip: you can always stand very close to the enemies and shoot them to heal, punching works too but shooting heals more :D
Ex your style is D you get about 50 hard damage, which means that you cannot heal with blood until that hard damage is gone(hard damage can be seen on your health bar,it's that grey line)

Or you can add separate buttons to each so you can use them without cycling through (Go to options, controls and set for feedbacker as F and for knuckleblaster G,and put a random button from your keyboard on the cycle control so you,has to be one you don't use).
The red nailgun variant deals more damage to multiple enemies if you connect it to a enemy and then blast nails into them, really works well with the green variant of the nailgun (overheat)
go back to 4-4 and go to the door that is slightly open and use the whiplash on the blue skull

the red shotgun is a chainsaw, it can be released and punched when coming back to you so it goes to another enemy,it will come back to you and so on.
You can shoot a coin and punch it,the damage on it will stack and if you shoot another coin, the second coin will hit the first one and deal more damage, this works especially with v2's coins (the red lights) and they can be railcannoned
For enemies:
You CAN parry the corpse of king minos punches, get the timing right

you will put the item on the pedestal and you will be able to walk around the map

4-4 has a secret gun named “SAWBLADE LAUNCHER” its the alternate version of nailgun and it deals alot of damage it literally can oneshot a boss
The coins target the weakspots of enemies, so the exploding ricoshot is just hitting the streetcleaners gas canister causing the explosion, this can happen with any weapon i believe, you can destroy the gas canisters on their corpses and it will explode
secret hunting to read the poems god made during depression
level 4-2 is the secret level for the greed layer, once you get to the main room you can find a path on the outside of the blue skull side that will take you to a red button this button opens a red door at the first arena outside of the main room near the sand inside it you can find a pedestal with a moon on a stick on it, take it and put it on the pedestal on top of the main room, once completed the world will turn to nighttime making the sand not hurt you, then an orb will spawn in the sky, go to it and you will find the entrance to the secret level under it
fucking crash bandicoot
fun fact: you can one shot virtues "aka" the biblically accurate angels with a single railcannon shot. really helps P-ranking levels.
You can also change the order of weapons using the arrows on the left of the weapon.
btw yeah, in the second v2 fight he shoots YOUR coins if you dont do it fast enough
This guy needs 1 million subss
Learn slam storage, which if used can get you launched 4 light years away from the surface in 0.6 miliseconds. Jump while pressed against a wall and slam, right before hitting the ground jump, and upon landing jump again.
all these damn scientists saying we dont have the technology to go anywhere near light speed clearly dont onow anyrhing about slam storage
SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES.
one phrase: core eject + malicious railcannon, try it out

You should try to get the best ranks possible after beating the entire game, to get the best rank in a level
1-you shouldnt die at all
2-you need to have S style at the end results
3-You need to kill EVERY enemy in the level
4-You need to beat the level as quick as possible to get a S in time
Doing this will result in a P rank, if you P rank the entire ACT 1, a door will open in act 1, i wont spoil what happens
If you P rank the entire Act 2, A secret door also opens similar to ACT 1. I wont spoil it so you can have a better reaction
hi again my favourite ultrakill youtuber
average 0-S reaction
did you know every secret level has a hidden challenge thats completed automatically when the mission is finished? for example: 0-S has the challenge "Don't shit your pants." (or maybe im talking in false information sorry)
so, uh, little tip: read the terminals. they really help with killing things.
I keep forgetting 😭 I’ll remember next time!
Great, now go back to act I and P-rank everything :) (P-rank is getting S-rank in kills, style and time with no restarts) and after that go back to level 3-1 to the funny stair room and find the bridge disconnected from everything
