Fun fact: you can buy variants with points. Click on weapons and then select the weapon. Also you can parry the shotgun bullets by pressing F and primary fire at the same time

Technically, not same time but yes, you can projectile boost by parrying your own shotgun bullets, you actually shoot first then immediately punch really fast

BRUH I SWEAR EVERY CONTENT CREATOR SOMEHOW MISSES THAT THEY CAN CLICK THE WEAPON BUTTON RECENTLY
couple tips:
- you can stick the nailgun magnets onto enemies so the nails auto aim towards them
- punching immediately after shooting the shotgun will boost one of the pellets to turn into a fast moving explosive
- checking out the terminals is worthwhile- you can buy weapon variants and there are enemy logs with tips on their weaknesses and lore
this is easily the smoothest first blind playthrough of ultrakill that ive seen, awesome work dude

The best way to discover more about how to attack/parry enemies and use your weapons is to always ask yourself "wouldn't it be cool if..?" because in this game the answer is almost always YES.

It’s so genuinely awesome seeing someone actually go for secrets in this game haha. Most people just skip past them, but honestly taking the game slow and really searching and understanding the scenery and locations is such a fun part of the game.
Also it does seem like Violent difficulty would fit you more, if you’re willing to replay some of the starter levels. Especially with how flawlessly you cleared and understood the game just within the first 3 levels hehe. Who knows, maybe if you do replay on violent you can find some of the special secrets in prelude. Enjoy your journey through hell! Excited to see how you tear through the hoards of husk and demons.
Also huge claps for a P-rank on your first attempt of a stage. Insanely impressive
One tip I can toss ya, since you were having trouble with one secret in limbo: Ground pounding and then jumping immediately after let’s you build up height. You could also get insane height/speed but doing a ground pound next to a wall, and then canceling the ground

23:35 one thing this game loves is to put the boss enemies u fought so hard to defeat as a normal enemy in upcoming levels to show that what the player did was not so special... remember u'll see that swordsmachine in the future too and well there were 2 swordsmachine in this level too

i love you for playing ultrakill, mua abit of the lore:there was a war that hummanity made mashine then made another to counter that that went on unil the bug guys you are V1 but was discontinued bc the planet was soo trashed that peope started to live on the big boy, and a peace started called the new peace, they made robots to clean the mountains of corpses, its not know how the hummans died, but you an the other robots whent to hell to sustain your self(bc blood is fluel) and the first lvl is u entering hell.
For as much as I love Ultrakill, ive seen tons of fans "bully" content creators by not playing the game in the top 100% super speedrunner fashion.
People goving tips on certain techniques are fine, but ive seen a lot of people go way too critical for people just playing the game for the first time.

you can punch your own shotgun bullets if you parry right after you fire, its insanely fun and effective
also if you clink on the weapons in the shop you can buy variations that have different altfires

The terminal can show you enemy lore and also strategies to take them apart

There's diffrent varients to weapons like for revolver theres marksman and sharpshooter
Marksman: throw a coin and shoot it to deflect it to enemies
Sharpshooter: spin your revolver to make your bullets richochet
brother this game has total 24 weapons (if u include alll variations) and 4 types of arms (only 3 r available and 4th is under devlopment)... and u just used a few 3-4 of them but still were way better than i was in my first run of the game 😭

some movement tech: slide jump = sliding then jumping and chaining the slide jump will result in some speed slam storage = go near a wall then press the slam button AND jump button, if your not at the ground and see yellow lines, gj, hope this was useful oh and before i forget make sure to switch weapons more often bcuz the freshness (which determines how much style you will get when using the weapon in a cool way) goes down and the more guns you have equipped (variatons also count) the faster it goes down again hope these tips were useful in a way

Hey man, just wanna let you know, if something has a ***YELLOW*** flash, it can be parried, like the maurice beams, trust me, the game gets much harder, you'll also unlock more weapons as you go, you can also parry melees such as the filth (green things with a big mouth) by timing it right, parries will be a lot more useful later on, if you're already going for P ranks, pay attention to your style and stuff, it can get complicated.
A point blank shot to an enemy while it's doing a parryable attack will do decent damage by the way.
The Core eject (the shotgun you have in the video)'s core deflects off of maurices (the things that are firing those lasers)
Also, there's a multiplayer mod called JAKET, it's pretty broken and buggy at times tho, uses steam's API
Best advice I can give
Watch professionals play, I’ve learned and mastered many techniques like railcoining and shotgun parries just from watching others

dude the shop is mods to weapons not weapon shop also deff buy coin revolver its almost the best and common weapon, you can shot coin with piercer for stronger dmg btw also you can punch your own coin,coin moves the way you move at the moment of throw so to punch js move foward or throw it mid air
