Don't compare the amount of studies you do with others. It matters the effect you put into your revision not "I studied for 8 hours a day". Having the time to study will improve. It all depends on YOU and no one else, It Is never too late to revise now. You never know you can still get those grades if u have a short time. Practice makes perfect. Don't stress

Hi my name is Ramzan Mohammed. I am an up and coming GCSE Maths RUclipsr. Before you stop scrolling through the comment section I would appreciate if you take a moment to read my experience with GCSE's so you can learn from it. I wish all GCSE 2023 Students the best luck before your exams lets hope you smash them 👊🔥
Last year, right before i sat my GCSE's In 2022 I was stumbling across videos like this and confused about how to begin, I was at grade 3s for all of my sciences, biology chemistry and physics. The only subjects tbh i hated science and the only subject i genuinely enjoyed was mathematics. My teachers had a meeting with me, sat me down said they were considering moving me down to foundation and well. That day, I put in hours upon hours of grinding every single day watching every single video in freesciencelessons playlist for all of the topics and memorising the key information. Last year I opened my GCSE exam results - I got 181 marks in biology, 176 marks for chemistry and 169 marks for physics. 3 Grade 9s. To all year 11s thinking that it is impossible to get a grade 9 learn from my experience If i chose to let my procrastination get to the better of me and chose to contemplate revision then I would’ve been stuck with 3 grade 3s for science. There are only two paths and I forced myself to choose the right one, opening my results to all fails was one path and opening my results to grade 9s was the second. Choose the right path. In August (2022) I should’ve ideally opened my GCSE results to fails in every science. I woke up. And stopped letting my teachers *undermine* me, and my predicted grades *define* me.
People like to talk about motivation and willpower but in reality there is no such thing, the tiredness you are feeling when you begin revising is your brain telling you to stop. Nobody likes to talk about going through the struggle and will confuse you to believe that is possible to get grade 9s with little revision and you should feel comfortable and revise little when that is the reason you will never improve. Pain, suffering and pushing when your not comfortable and when your tired to revise is what's going to improve your grade.
Stop procrastinating and put in the work because when you open your results in august the 24th your procrastination will only lead you to failure. There are only weeks left before GCSES begin but there is still time for you to succeed like I did.
Question is, are YOU going to wake up?

I get bullied a lot and picked on because I'm quite smart and stand out in my year group for being so different I'm trying to revise because I desperately want to leave my school and go to a new sixth form I feel like my school does nothing as a girl held my neck today and I was worried she would strangle it.I want to have the chance to restart at a new school and try to make new friends and be happy. Because I never feel happy at school more anxious about whether I'll get beat up today. Because of this I have the fear of not getting the grades for the sixth form I want to go so I feel worried when I sit every test. How do I overcome this?
Update: I did it I got into the other sixth form which is a grammar and the students seem much more friendly there. I got nearly all 7s and above apart from maths which is 1 off a 7 so I'm getting it remarked but thank you so much for all the support you gave me.🤗

    • @SmileWithSola

This definitely doesn't sound right - tell a teacher / your parents / carer and get them involved. You deserve to feel safe at school. Focus on your studies, try your best to avoid those people and you will do well. After sixth form, you are very unlikely to come across them again or have to interact with them. Use that as extra motivation to work hard and prove them wrong as the commenter above said. You've got this and I believe in you 😊
