    The part that I find weird is how inserting host bacterial cells into embryo will initiate expression of desired gene in the progeny. Because the embryo already has it's own genome. If you can please explain...

    DNA of virus having desired gene will also have their own gene which might be lethal for host(embryo) .. these lethal gene will not have undesire affect on host(embryo)????

    is the restrictions enzymes also cuts the RNA? because dna and rna nucleotides are different and how they cut RNA also?//

    Target gene is a dna fragment and the retrovirus genetic material is rna based. how can we intergrate a dna fragment into an rna genome?

    • @vaguelyf
      @vaguelyf 2 года назад +5

      Either the retrovirus has the reverse transcriptase enzyme or we provide it to convert the rna into dsDNA, then the integration process follows.

    • @khwaishyadav2593
      @khwaishyadav2593 2 года назад

      By the help of intergrase enzyme as shown in the video

      It is not replicating in RNA genome it is replicating in cytoplasm of host cell which has dna as genetic material

      Dude u just asked such a good question that even I forgot to use common sense 😂. The answer is very silly.

    • @legoabhi2876
      @legoabhi2876 6 месяцев назад

      When the restriction enzyme cuts the desired dna which is double stranded. It cuts only single strand. So technically u have single strand which is then ligated into viral RNA of retrovirus
