🚀 Boost Your Energy Like a Pro: 4 Essential Habits for High Performers
🏅 In today's hyper-competitive world, running out of energy isn't just inconvenient-it can be the difference between success and failure. Imagine facing a crucial game, exam, or presentation feeling completely drained. Your performance, confidence, and results all suffer. But it doesn't have to be this way.
Join me as I reveal four essential habits every high-performer needs to maximize energy and use it wisely. As a mental performance coach to professional athletes, I've seen firsthand how top pros crack the energy code to avoid burnout, fatigue, and flat performances. Whether you're an athlete, a high-flying professional, or just someone looking to get the most out of your day, these habits will keep you at the top of your game.
1️⃣ Pre-Performance Naps: Discover why elite athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, and Novak Djokovic prioritize strategic naps to recharge their bodies and minds. Learn how to hack your sleep cycles for optimal energy.
2️⃣ Become a Night-Beforer: Eliminate decision fatigue by preparing the night before your big performance. From packing your kit bag to planning your meals, discover simple but effective strategies to conserve mental energy.
3️⃣ Avoid Energy Sappers: Identify and eliminate the people, foods, and habits that drain your energy. From toxic relationships to poor dietary choices and social media overload, learn how to protect your energy reserves.
4️⃣ Daily De-Stress: Incorporate daily de-stress routines to combat chronic stress and maintain peak performance. Find what relaxes and absorbs you, from meditation to a relaxing bath, and make it a key part of your day.

Sorry to here. You might find it helpful to develop a relaxing bedtime routine, such as having a bath, reading a book or practicing mindfulness meditation. Additionally, avoiding screens before bed can improve sleep quality

    A Long story
Please read and help me out if possible 🙏
3 months ago I was in a table tennis tournament. I had a match with one of the best junior player. Due to various reasons that match was a matter of prestige for me.
It was a heated topsy turvy match with huge crowd. At the deciding match I was at my full flow untill just the match point required. I was 6 points ahead and I somehow lost the match. I was really upset for Many days as the match mattered a lot for me.
But the main issue is that from that time I am continuously choking in matches were I am ahead and the thought of that day always comes to my mind whenever I am in a winning position.
How can I overcome this issue ? I badly need a working solution.
I was never a choker before but rather people considered me as a clutch performer.

    • @SamMartinPeakPerformance
      @SamMartinPeakPerformance  2 месяца назад

Sounds really tough. It really depends on your individual situation as people choke due to different reasons, e.g. overthinking, expectations from others, even mental + physical fatigue etc... In any case, to overcome this, you're going to have to train yourself to keep focusing on the present moment during matches. Things like practicing mindfulness techniques and grounding self-talk can be hugely beneficial with this.

I understand what you say when I watch your videos but how do I remember what to do on match days or before match days. I have set some reminders about the things I heard from your videos on my phone but I can't just continue setting tons of reminders to remind me what to do so I can achieve my best performance. So maybe you could do a video on the essentials of what to do before match day and on match day so other people don't just watch every single video you've made but rather a video on the essentials, for example I watched one of your videos and it was about what to do the days before a match but then there are other videos like how to get a good performance on match day or how to get an elite mentality. I'm think maybe you could do a guide to a good match day performance including what to do days before the match and on match day, for example you could say thing like take a nap a couple hours before the match or things like that. I just need a guide on all of that. I'm not saying just make one video just quit making other videos, I'm saying if you could give us a quick guide for a good match day performance please.

A big part of being a top athlete is taking initiative and personal responsibility. Look, you already have all the information you need. It's on you to decide what things to use and how to combine everything in a way that suits you.

make pre-hab a firm part of your routine.
Athletes who condition their bodies best, are those who don't fear injury
