The absolute irrevocable devastation that such abuse causes we must investigate such claims. We must not add to the devastation by looking the other way! IF proven false, then the "accuser" should be held accountable!

It’s so sad that these things keep happening to boys by a PRIEST!!!!!! Those priest are just humans like us so they are not above anyone and it doesn’t mean that they won’t do something bad to these kids. It’s sad but it’s the truth. We shouldn’t trust our kids with anyone because anyone can have those evil intentions. I hope this victim of that “priest” finds peace and knows that he’s stronger thank he thinks!
As a retired Social Worker, I was amazed by all the men who talked to me about negative effects from the RC Church, including sexual abuse from Priests, sports coaches, volunteers with children. That being said most volunteers, coaches, Priest are innocent. Males have a very hard time opening up and I was often the first person they told, even when married. Men coming forward can help get justice for themselves (sometimes) for others and prevent further abuse. The RC church simply moving Priests around instead of going to the police is disgusting. I did have one case where the victim went to the police and because it was a very small town, the police closed the case with no charges on the perp saying he would go for counseling!!
He had even admitted the abuse to the police. They believed he did it but still did nothing for the victim. All men involved except the victim was female in that case.
I bet there are people in Boston too.

This 'brave young man' was losign his case from 2020, until his attorney here came forward annouced a press conferecne in hopes to reinvigorate his losing case. Father Leo Patrick Riley has been invesitgated in years past, and Father Riley was exonerated. Father Leo Riley is innocent until proven guilty.

This is 2024! Why are people so trusting? You can always go to church and not leave your kids alone with any priest or pastor. For heaven sakes. Please, protect your children! This is not new news anymore 😢 so sad
