I put my 6s Slash 4x4 full-speed through a quite big MTB jump. Now it's a Rustler 4x4 instead. Figured since the chassis was toast I'd rebuild it into something where the body lasts more than 1 run :p

Raz, Any thoughts to speed run a smaller platform? I use to speed run the Team Associated TC4 (10th scale) and I still have a Losi Mini 8ight (14th scale) that I built 8 or 10 years ago. It runs 107 mph and because of it's size, it looks like it runs much faster than it is. It's geared for upper 80s but still turns heads every time I run it. I would like to see how fast you can get a mini to run. FYI, I consider a mini as a 14th scale or smaller, using a 28mm sized motor and a Mini sized battery. I have seen people extend the chassis, run 10th scale motors and run normal sized batteries. I don't consider that to fit the form as a Mini.
I always liked putting big motors in small stuff. My mini e revo has a 4672 i believe it is. So its like 1/10th- 1/8th scale motor in a 1/16. Its not technical or anything. Just fast and cheap. Cost me like 350 in total to build for absolutely everything, even the extra high C rating batteries.

I did the 24s already with 2 castle 2028s gen1 motors each on 12s and let me tell you I was able to do a couple of hits but my diff didn't hold and they were heavy duty built but blow up still was a fun build !!!

I was wondering if you could comment on running the batteries forward of the center line to put the battery weight on the front axle more and less on the rear axle? I followed your meeting with Kevin over to your channel. I will start watching all your videos. Amazon is out of your PP Launch Controls, any idea when they will be back in stock for the U.S.?
so good! Kev - did you get to the bottom of your xlx2 fires? After those you were really not keen to ever use again, yet Raz rates the xlx2's very highly (albeit with also one fire?) Raz - C ratings - im relatively new back into RC, and am pretty amazed by some of the claims now. Ie Maxamps often claim 150 or 175c, but thats nothing compared to Team zombie with some drag racing packs claiming burst ratings of 300 and even 400c!! I believe that real world c ratings are calculable from esc log data - X volts times x-amps = x watts, and what is that wattage rate coming out of battery vs its WH capacity, and therefore its c rating - which i gather is what you are using to see the real world figures 1/3 of what is often claimed ie 20c vs 60c. So if it is relatively easily proven - why has not someone done a bunch of testing to hold some accountability to brands with the most outlandish claims? Or do the brands have some defense in saying the esc limited the batteries true max discharge rate etc (are c ratings determined by short circuiting the battery perhaps!!!) Thanks to you both for genuinely great content. Love following your both and cant wait for the upcoming vids!

Because it seems you have plenty of horsepower .... Do you need to increase the wire circular mils to reduce the likelihood the [edit]batteries - ESC - shutting down or going to protection mode?
Gents, greetings from Colorado! FWIW, I wanted to share an excellent mod to set your anti-squat precisely. So, I mod the Arrma range of cars to perform more like touring cars, (to turn on power, and not slide around), and one of the key mods is using a a Tekno “C” block with inserts to set rear toe and anti-squat. Hope someone finds this helpful!
