Ford are idiots for ever using the MT82. Skimping out on of the most important components of a 'performance' car. And they keep letting the bean counters make these calls. Always something that lets the car down. Ludicrous.

Nah, he would have asked the dealer not to touch it. They sometimes damage the paint with a crappy detailing job, so better to ask them not to touch it.
@@joedenbesten4477 Not detailing it is different than not running it through the shop to do a PDI (pre-delivery inspection). Even if you tell them not to touch it, I"m pretty sure they still run it through the shop. New cars in Jersey come with a dealer inspection sticker in the windshield so a safety inspection should be done. Also, I"m sure FORD has a few things that they put on the dealer to complete to finish the car prep and ready it for sale, such as removing transport blocks. There's probably a tranport mode in the computer too.

2 things for me though personally i like the OEM wheels better. and they stick out now so youll need either some kind of custom made wheel arch lip or mud flaps or you're gonna spit stone all over that lower body. cheers tom

Lol I took delivery of my 21 hybrid platinum a month ago and I also told them not to touch it haha, still finding bits of plastic wrap on interior lol not to mention I drove around for two days with stickers and writing on my back window. I took it in for ppf and tint right away...

I remember when you got invited to drive the pp2 2018+gt back in the day and that video had some good take a ways.
On how different it felt when compared to a base model gt.
I have a similar set I had on my 2017 in my garage from Velgen. 20 x 9.5 and 20 x 10's if I remember correctly. Still on the Pirelli's I bought for them too.

Am I the only one that checked the tire guy's math and found that it doesn't add up? With those given tire sizes, the front tire is 3/4" taller than the rear tire. If you wanted the front and rear to be the same height as he intended, wouldn't a 265/35/R20 on the front wheels been the correct tire size to make them even height with a 315/30/R20? Am I missing something here?

This is how the GT's should have been from the start.
I had an 18 gt350 & got rid of it due to the 5.2.
I had wished it had come with the 5.0.

Imho Much better, granted taste is in the eye of the beholder but those stock wheels were really underwhelming. I too was disappointed/confused when you took delivery as it was my understanding the "dark tarnish wheels" from last years pp2 package were the designated wheel…..I’m thinking somewhere there will exist a large pile of new Mach 1 wheels.

You decreased the weight of the wheel but increased the weight of the tire. What was the net weight savings, if any? Do you have before and after figures? Do the 20's ride more harshly? Since you increased the width of the front from 255 to 285, did you have any instances of rubbing?
We put a set of velgen vmb8 on a friends 2019 gt on my channel. They fit so nicely and look great. Definitely going to have to grab a set for my car one of these days.
