Completely disagree with your problem with the logo. I'm a function-over-form guy, and all I want is performance. I have a Kirkland putter, I have purchased Kirkland wedges, and I own several Kirkland gloves. Absolutely no problem with the logo, Are you saying that you'd like to play the club but don't want anyone to know you're using it??? That makes no sense. Are you ashamed of using a club that doesn't say a Name Brand? The ONLY issue should be: how does it play.
Hey man, I get it. I don’t like the branding but some folks have said they do, and that’s cool. I do like their products and everyone who I golf with knows I use all their products. I’d just like something more appealing to my eye, but as we’ve established others do like it. So I fully offer we have a different opinion but that’s all it is. Merry Christmas!
I just got and used my Kirkland Driver yesterday 12/20. My review is as follows: The club is absolutely top shelf, every bit as good as anything "brand name" and better than some. It's all about the components. It has a Carbon fiber/Titanium composite clubhead which is super high quality and state of the art. Oh,and it looks great. It comes with a True Temper evenflow riptide shaft 45.5 inches in length. Mine has a 6.0 flex (stiff), 60g (grams weight) and 4.4 degrees of torque. The shaft is critical to performance as any clubfitter worth their salt will tell you. And this shaft is again super high quality and top shelf. And Lamkin crossline grip. Onto Performance: I used it as set up 10.5 degrees square setting. The club "feel" was really fantastic. Launch angle was mid range, I thought it might be a bit higher. Ball flight was parabolic, so spin rate was not to high(field test, so no numbers). Carry distance and overall distance was more than expected and further than my current driver! Club sound was great, solid and true, not tinny, dull, or dampened. Loved it, especially the shaft flex and feel. All thumbs UP! It's staying in my Bag and this is all coming to you from a PGA Life Member Professional!
Own the wedges. Love them. Will pick up my Kirkland Driver tomorrow. It will replace a 10 year old TaylorMade. Costco treats their employees well, has super customer service and offers the public great value. I will be proud to display their logo. Bring it on!
Glad to have you back! Great review. But lol my husband purposefully sought out the Kirkland branded sweatshirt. Not sure if that says more about his style preferences but there’s definitely an audience that likes the Kirkland branding!
Haha I feel like Kirklands becoming that brand that people are actually proud to wear. If you think about it Kirkland is a brand that says “I don’t care about branding”

Prayers to your dad and related family challenges in support. Thanks for an honest review and demo. Like you said most drivers today are all within a marginal difference when you compare Apple's to Apple's. So considering a new name brand driver being $500-$700 vs $200 with an unbelievable return policy, I think Kirkland will have no problems selling unless people have brand loyalty or brand snobs. If I bought a new KSig driver vs a new Stealth, at $600-$700, I'd save $400-500 and could buy their new KSig irons for $500.

I picked one up with stiff flex. I do want to upgrade the shaft and grip. Only reason is because the videos of people who upgrade I've seen seems to improve everything drasatically.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the logo. You are definitely nitpicking on the looks and setting options. The Kirkland head over is cool, like it or not.
The headcover is cool, but we will have to agree to disagree about what we think looks good. You are in very good company though, I’ve heard similar comments from lots of fans of the logo!! Merry Christmas!!
Great video! I am a big fan of what Kirkland are attempting to bring to the game, we are yet to receive the Kirkland Irons and Driver in the UK, I check the website daily as I think both products look superb and from the reviews it sounds like they perform as well. I wonder if the next stage for them would be fairway woods/Hybrids?
I love having Kirkland as an option in golfing and would love to see them expand into woods/hybrids. Hopefully y’all get them over there soon! Happy Christmas!!
You are correct sir. I like that hole cause it’s a fun shot. It is obviously an elevated tee and it’s a Colorado course at 5500ft if I remember right. So I am certainly not advertising my distance in that hole as something I would do on a flat tee shot at sea level. Anyway, hope you got some value out of the video! Merry Christmas!!
great review the club seems to preform extremely well but whats more impressive is how you get 316 yards total with 89.6 clubhead speed and 131.7 ball speed is your simulator set at an extreme altitude or is the hole your playing extremely down hill
Both. I’m hitting shots on the first hole of Sanctuary. It’s one of my favorite holes. The elevation is 5500 ft above sea level and it is an elevated tee box. As you see on the sim, the course designer makes it a risk reward shot, and the landing area is very small. Anyway, yeah, I’m a slow swinger and the elevation on Sanctuary just makes it fun!! Glad you enjoyed the video! Merry Christmas!!!

Thank you for sharing about your father, happy holidays to you and your entire family. That’s hilarious! I’m surprised too. Given their clientele is probably on average middle aged and slightly higher, that seems like a missed opportunity. Thanks for a great comment! Merry Christmas!!
Its a very good driver and given its price its real value compared to other brand new drivers. Its not for everyone, for example a beginner may find better value in previously owned clubs.

The Kirkland’s sell for used driver pricing but I get your point. I added a couple used clubs to the bag this season. I’ve thought about highlighting these clubs as options for folks on a budget. Would you find that interesting?

I didn’t measure head weight but I did post the length and swing weight in the video, 45.75” and D3.5. I added lots of chapters cause I know it was very long. It was my honest first impressions and I didn’t want to script it so the review would be more authentic. I appreciate the critical feedback! Happy New Year!!
I wouldnt waste any money on Kirkland golf equipment except for the balls. The wedges have terrible feel compared to Taylormade, Ping, Callaway, etc., the irons are the same, and their golf gloves are hade of inferior material, losing their form after about 3 riunds of golf, thats probably why theyre sold in a multipack. Kirkland brand is very usable for the run of the mill golfers, but not serious players looking for an edge.
We tend to get what we pay for when it comes to golf. I don’t think many folks will argue that Kirkland does not outperform the best products by golf centric companies. I think the point is, if you’re willing to sacrifice some performance characteristic, they are good affordable options.
Completely disagree with your problem with the logo. I'm a function-over-form guy, and all I want is performance.
Good comparison, but your so dull! throw some personality into it. Sorry about your dad i feel for you especially as i age ,73,.
Glad you got some value out of the video! Thanks for the nice comment about my father.
Then just shut up and don’t buy
I think it’s a good club and recommend it, just don’t like the logo
