    Purchased a 2019 Cruze LT hatchback in November 2019. My first new Chevy ever in my 34 years of driving. Great car all around. Great gas mileage, comfortable drive, especially since I drive from Southern California to Northern California for work regularly. I purchased the car with convenience package and I just love all the features of the package . The infotainment system is easy to use and convenient for listening to Sirius xm radio and using the navigation system. The only bad thing is that I agree with the last comment that Chevrolet should’ve kept making the Cruze rather than end production of it. I rented a Cruze sedan in 2016 and instantly fell in love with it. I’m glad I was able to purchase one before they were gone .

      No problems with the 1.4 liter turbo yet. It really has a little kick to it, i just enjoy the sportiness of it. The siriusxm comes in handy on my long drives.

    GM should be ashamed of themselves for ending Cruze production. Not everybody is willing to cough up money for a SUV or pick up truck.

      it really sucks that they did. This car sold well and GM shut down the lordstown plant thay made this, the cobalt, and some Impalas. It displaced me and sent us too Flint, MI despite my entire family living in the cleveland area. Im really happy too see some people really love this car, it means alot

    Dont buy a Cruze they are known for there engine problems and transmission mine at 38k needed a new engine typical piston issue that they have with the 1.4 i didnt rev it above 4k rpm now my transmission at 68 makes a big thud going into reverse these cars are comftorable but the powertrain is junk go to any forum and the most common issue is engine failure mine is a 2016 2nd gen cruze

    • @luciousverus
      @luciousverus 3 года назад +2

      So you think because your 2016 had problems, the 2019 will? No way. Not the same car, not the same engine. You think they wouldn’t upgrade the engine after 3 years? This is a 2019. Way better than the 2016 models

    • @MadmaxMusic93
      @MadmaxMusic93 3 года назад +3

      @@luciousverus I worked at GM lordstown were we made the damn cars, let me tell you they have been plagued with engine and transmission problems, especially remember that's the last year's everyone was losing there jobs, quality control was shitty... Cause everyone was losing there jobs just saying man. UAW 1112 don't believe me. 2019 is better but still not perfect I would get a 2018 model last year they made the second generation, 2019 was the only third generation, so your taking a gamble.

    I wish I didn't buy the 2016 Cruze I have now. I got this used car last year and the salesman did not tell me it did not have a cruise control in this car!!! When I went back to the dealership I told him there was no cruise control device he just.... laughed at me!!!😡
    I called the Detroit main office and they said that in 2016 did not put in the cruise device that year. I'm stuck with this car until I finished paying off this car😡 I have a bad back from a injury in the past... I can't drive long distant now.
    WHY DID CHEVROLET DO THIS???SOOO STUPID!!! 🤬

    • @VehicleVisionary
      @VehicleVisionary  3 года назад

      Sorry to hear about your troubles. I wonder if there is an aftermarket cruise control that would work? My Dad had a 2011 Silverado that did not come with cruise control. He was able to have an aftermarket version installed.

    • @maralonent6257
      @maralonent6257 Год назад

      That’s annoying. But at the same time, if there are certain features you must have in your car, wouldn’t it make more sense to *tell* the salesperson what you are looking for instead of just assuming it’s there? Before I bought mine I made a list of everything it had to have- and they found me a Cruze that was only missing one feature (fog lamps) that they installed for free.
