Welcome back Soc! The Lexus looks great. I always enjoy working on Lexus vehicles because the factory paint jobs are some of the best on the market. My daily driver Lexus is 16-years old and the paint still looks amazing.
@@johng753 I appreciate the welcome back John. 💪 thanks for always showing love and tuning in my brother. 💪💪. Lexus vehicles have very great paint jobs especially when you get a great batch of it being a medium to almost hard clear coat. Makes polishing and finishing down soo much easier and doesn’t get marred easily. Especially on older Lexus vehicles like yours
@@williamsanders1296 I I use either the SPTA 15mm cordless DA or the new DIY 25mm DA. Sometimes the rotary as well either types rotary and DIY rotary I have both.
Sure I have some options that are very good. Now the difference will be on water beading as HydroLite is crazy hydrophobic one of the best I've ever seen not needing to be certified and gloss is great as well. Durability I can't say much as it's new so I won't know if it'll last 6 years claim. Nasiol ZR53 is another option. Claim is 3 year durability and on of the finicky coatings I've used. But very durable DIY 5 year coating has worked very well here surprisingly better than their 8 year coating on some of my customers vehicles. Plus it's cheaper and focus is on gloss. Claim 5 years still new a vehicle has had it for over a year and a half still going strong customer washes it onnve every two weeks and comes to me for the decon quarterly washes. Only time will tell on durability Armour Detail Supply Quartz coating if you can get quartz pro even better. Claim 5 year durability. Thick coating if not careful you will get highspots and follow instructions coating cures quick on applicator which you may end up scratching your car. I have this coating doing a test so far it's been 8 months and doing amazing check out my decontamination video I posted on my coating battle video. Lastly, based on the claim of less prone to fracturing, clogging and 6 year durability with the new coating technology of detonated nano diamonds have been very intriguing Thus far the water beading and gloss has been phenomenal on HydroLite. That's about it for me hope this helps. 💪💪💪
@@antellez Gyeon mohs doesn’t last and clogs too easily for me max durability gotten real word average on many vehicles I’ve coated was 2 years maximum it’s rated as a 3 year coating. I’d go Carpro over Gyeon
@@DetailingMadeSimple you’re the man brotha !! You always respond to everyone !! And thats why i support the channel .. thx again!!! Time will tell .. anyways keep doing your thing 💪🏼
@@KR8810 I appreciate it my brother. I agree with you. That’s what I meant based on initial use as a user friendly, Hydrophobics and gloss matches that of some certified coatings on the market and it’s amazing. Now durability… only time will tell.
