The secret passages are because the house was built by an architect named George Trevor, who is the same architect that made the mansion from the first resident evil, and the raccoon city police station from resident evils 2 and 3. Trevor was a little crazy and liked to fill the buildings he designed with different secret passageways and puzzles for people to find, just because he thought it was fun. There’s a lore document somewhere in the Baker house that mentions him but I forgot where it was. He gets killed by umbrella after figuring out what they were doing in the mansion in RE 1.
i gotta love that George Trevor was just a silly guy, like he wasn't doing anything inherently bad by building those little puzzles and passages, he was just having a lil bit of fun.

and fun fact on why lucas was so pissed off from clancy is that he loses to him in the card game which is "21 " that you play in the dlc at the end of this dlc and after clancy beat lucas lucas told him :- let's play another game you and me ; which refer to the happy birthday tape
@@BucketIHeadIt does. He was just making theories without saying it's just a theory. Lucas is the only one that knows where Clancy is for obvious reasons if you have played the 21 dlc
Interesting. I assumed it meant Lucas. Because he was given to Lucas to deal with, and the Happy Birthday tape isn't the first thing he involves Clancy in. He first toys with him in the DLC tape 21.
@@DeeMetria Im pretty sure it stands for lost insted of lucas cause the 21 description explain that clancy escaped the basement then ran out of the house only to get knocked out by lucas later
I believe the reason for the schooby-doo rooms and traps is Lucas being a natural inventor. Even before the mold, he had trophies and he set up the attic trap for a kid who bullied him. Lucas IS a Scooby-Doo villain.
Weirdly in the South lots of former plantations and mansions seemed to feature a lot of servant passageways as well, wonder if it's in reference to that as well!

This editing is top notch, well done brother, also reason why Zoe wasn’t infected is because Evelyn’s infection is based on peoples willpower. Basically, the Baker parents have lower willpower, Zoe just fought Eveline’s control and pretended to be under the influence, same with Lucus, he was given an antidote by The Connections (evelines creator’s) and so Lucas was always a bit of a psycho, Eveline just got him to be more psycho

one of the scariest parts of the game for me is that even in the save rooms you don't ever feel safe. Unlike being in a general area where abyone can be, you're inside these people's home 😂

Because while re4 is amazing in its own right as a game. As far as what it abandons from the OG resident evils it is ultimately the start of the action focus that culminates into the failure that is re6. Which then leads to the rebranding and remakes the series is in now. And even within the remakes alone this still rings true though I think people ain’t realized it yet. Post Malone and Nakey Jake vibes. The effort and love put in your videos is superb. Love it when RUclipsrs put top effort into their videos, you and The Elephant Graveyard, and Adam Curtis. All top creative, intelligent people with great humour except Adam Curtis, his stuff is very serious. Anyway, brilliant video, love you're work, thank you.
Edit : and Nakey Jake obvs, my bad, love his stuff too. So out of all the possible creators on this platform 4 people stand out. That's some high praise.
This is the best content on this platform for real I love these videos
if anybody, i know bert7 got me
5:41 I believe that L means Lucas, which means that the family gave Clancy to Lucas to do whatever, which is shown in the deleted scene, 21, and the VHS about his "Birthday".
The production quality being equal parts perfect and goofy is the greatest thing I have seen in youtube in a while. This just popped up on my feed, and I'm subscribing
Why was re4 in the trash can 0:16
It was an analogy about how the RE Series abandoned its roots in favor of nonstop action
It wasn't in the trash can it was on top before the spiral downward
It was the ps2 version which is a downgrade of the GameCube version is my guess
Because while re4 is amazing in its own right as a game. As far as what it abandons from the OG resident evils it is ultimately the start of the action focus that culminates into the failure that is re6. Which then leads to the rebranding and remakes the series is in now. And even within the remakes alone this still rings true though I think people ain’t realized it yet. Just play remake 2 and remake 4 basically the same change.
Actually insane editing and production holy shit
Average Family Dinner:
0:17 IS THAT DOOG WALKER
I love your videos please keep doing game reviews like these, you’re editing style, however simple, is so fun and creative
This was pne of the best walkthroughs and explanations of a Resident Evil lore. I live yow he put himself into the actual game for scenes and made them pure comedy, I love this dude. You earned a subscriber for sure.
1:50 Asmongold setup
I love these videos, you do so amazing on them!
Also at 12:15 I love the detail of catching the food
I’ve seen just about every re7 retrospective ( in fact I was literally just watching one before this video) and this is still one of the most unique videos and I actually learned a bit more from this video with the references to different media
Dude. Your editing style and comantery is actually legendary. This is one of the best RUclips videos I have ever watched. Incredible work
You’re like a better version of nakey Jakey , subbed straight away !
I really appreciate this thing you do.
i will continue to do this thing
10:24 wellcome to the family son
When the world needed him most, Bizly appeared
thanks for capturing the original spirit of youtube man. finding videos like this gives me hope still. really well made and I even made snacks and sat down on the sofa to watch it.
i really love the visual style of your stuff!! ive honestly never seen something quite like it, but its absolutely fantastic. also like your videos are also really funny and well written. but like who cares i liked the part with the funny gnome in the window
what did you think of peter griffin on the tv
@@bizlychannelYT it was awesome
Ethan Winters truly was just a guy

It’s absolutely mind blowing that I can play this on my phone now. Bought it for 8 bucks a couple days ago and I’ve been playing it for a few days now. Playing this in bed with earbuds in has definitely made me realize that I really don’t do well with horror games.
This is art and I like the format you do I’ve only seen two other RUclipsrs do it and I love this format keep up the work
i am in love with this video holy shit. the way you make yourself a part of the game and interact with things is always so fun. you did one of my favorite games of all time justice and then some i swear
Keeping it up from BioShock this style is just peak, chefs kiss. Oh I guess RE7 is pretty great I guess. But jokes aside, the fact this game reignited a whole Resident Evil renaissance is insane.
there is actually a really cool video called how resident evil 7 saved resident evil that talks about that specifically. watched it yesterday and loved the story. I knew it was integral to the re revival but never knew that FULL story bts.
@@bizlychannelYT I remember seeing that, it’s absolutely bonkers.
"Welcome to the family Son 👊"

Guys! He’s back!!!! Let’s go!!!!
Awesome Video format, Rad Kingdom Hearts Shirt, Funny bits and great tidbits including the evil dead reference which I literally never thought on till watching this! I know im one in a sea of randoms but genuinely keep up the great content!
ok so, first vid i watch of you, but the effect you do where you place yourself in the screen and mimick interacting with objects in the game like the fridge (1:40) is awesome dude!!
You’ve become my favorite channel to watch. Your commentary and humor are top notch
21:51 How did you not notice the crazy plumbing? Pressure fittings in a DWV system.. So many broken codes.. Oh the horror.
Must resist making a nerd joke here
Not resisting well
@@zaneheaston8254 resistance is futile.
No broken codes that I can see lol. You must not get out much. Plenty of huge houses have crazy plumbing systems. You’ll learn one day kid
@@kennypowers1945 Is this a test? You just want me to admit i'm too old for this channel. Well I'm not. Perhaps too old to comment though, those pressure fittings in a DWV system brought back memories of training young plumbers.
Guy who just finished (re)watching the entire spittake playthrough of re7 with his gf; ah yes, Bizly’s favorite type of storytelling, the one where you don’t have to read a story at all.
Lmao. My partner and I looked up the transcript of every note you and milo didn’t wanna read through, fantastic playthrough and your videos here keep surpassing the already impressive editing. Amen
This video is like if Nakeyjakey had a higher budget. Incredible work dude!
By some weird logorhythm I came across ths channel, but I must say I wish encounter this channel sooner, please keep up the good work Sir, instant subcribed.
Bro your video editing is amazing, earned yourself a sub with works like these 👌
Madhouse difficulty actually does limit your saves with cassette tapes.
1:40 RIP to Asmongolds Twitch Room HAHAH
23:13 bugs? in the bayou? sounds familiar... 🤨
this is by far the best video format ive seen of a game review im subscribing
Would love you to cover the DLCs based after the game aswell because your videos are some of the best on this platform.
Resident Evil 7 VR was my first Resident Evil experience and also the most horrifying thing I've ever experienced lol
