Also, if you want a great sequel to Aliens, in the same vein as this is supposed to be to Alien, then you should DEFINITELY check out Alien: Dark Descent. It was such a good time, and stayed true to that second movie.

About the flamethrower: - It has limited ammunition, and getting more ammo, especially in hard mode, the difficulty you played on, is difficult as it can be scarce. - I think you didn’t talk about the Alien’s AI enough in this video (which is really the highlight of the game). The Alien LEARNS from your actions. Hide in the lockers a lot? The Alien will start searching through lockers more. Use the flamethrower too much? The Alien will start becoming less afraid of it. Sure it keeps the Alien away, but it starts taking more fuel to stave it off. So you need to use it in small bursts. 2. The portion involving the androids: - While yes, I can understand why you’d feel bored by this section, part of the purpose of it was to lull the player into a false sense of security. Now that the Alien is gone, players can feel more confident walking around the station. And that isn’t to say that the androids still aren’t threatening, especially the hazmat androids. Those things aren’t absolute bullet sponges and hit hard. - And as said earlier, the player gets pulled into a feeling of confidence now that the Alien is gone, until that confidence spectacularly drops when they encounter the nest. It’s good writing. - Also, I’m confused about your complaint regarding how “wet” the androids are. You yourself mentioned how Ash was also full of liquid when he was destroyed, so what’s the problem here? 3. The characters - Sure they aren’t exactly Shakespearean levels of character writing, but I enjoyed some of the complexity of a few characters, such as Marlow, Ricardo, or Waits.
to add to the 3rd point, i think they written the characters well in context to the game. like ripley didn’t really had the time to sit down to get to know them cos she’s the only one that’s capable enough to run around and fix the ship. but even so the characters still impacted me emotionally even if it’s a bit cliche. Waits still got me angry for blasting ripley into space with the alien and samuels death was still sad cos bros been with us since the beginning mannnn

Also they can make some enemies to behave like Mannequins in SH2 Remake when they just hide from you and jump right at your face if you stubble on them. Oh and also more sequences when there are multiple Aliens, not just one

This was the second time your channel was recommended to me, I watched the resident evil biohazard one the other day before this one. You saying you don't want to use the metas and upload everyday out an incredibly wide smile on my face. The editing is so good, the videos are great, you being inside these games in the edits makes me so happy, I get this wendigoon vibe from the way you tell your stories... I'm sticking around for sure! This stuff rocks!
I have not played any of the mentioned/talked about games, but these videos are always SUCH a good watch. This one especially! I’ve always been intrigued by the alien franchise and this is so INTERESTING. I felt pseudo-immersed just from the footage and descriptions.
