Awesome video! I bought the DeLorean from part 2 and it has more features. The passenger side dashboard lights up, time circuits light up and even the time circuit switch turns. The mark 1 didn’t have that. Still a very impressive piece. I wish hot toys released Doc and Marty in full radiation suits

Thank you! I'm pretty sure they will... They re-released the Tumbler.... So I'm sure this is in the works. It'll drive the secondary market prices down (YAY!). You're right! With the Doc Brown and the new Marty it's going to have to be re-released hahaha. Fingers crossed for all the people who missed out on this. Plus if a new one comes out.... It will probably have lots of improvements!
@@SquadCollector Wow, a collector that would be happy if the Delorean got a re-release. I can't tell you how much of a breath of fresh air it is to see a collector that literally gets chills because of the memories of the movies and emotional attachment to this franchise. So many have been salty about rereleases because their "investments" are losing money. Cheers to you mate...true collector :) Very happy with your acquisition

Congrats, it's a grail. I'm wiating for Hot Toys to re-issue the DeLorean so I can get one (alongside Marty and Doc). Hope they make the dashboard and the flux capacitor light up this time.
My only issue with it is the clear plastic that simulates the windows looks tacky. You can see the injection mold stubs near and at the frames and can also see the thick trim at the edges. Clear plastic also degrades quickly when exposed to light. It's a model to put up on display, not a toy to play with and bang around. Why didn't they used actual glass, or clear resign for the windows? Also, they could have used that really thin super clear semiflexible plastic. If I buy one (very tempted!), I will definitely mold my own glass for it and fit it.
I went downstairs to look at mine and now I can't unsee it hahaha! I couldn't agree with you more! I wonder if they made improvements for their BTTF 2 Delorean coming out.
I’d definitely buy the re-release DeLorean. Just hope they get the taillights right this time. I’m not a fan of the smoked taillights. 11:39 Overall still a very impressive collection piece though.
I'm not sure... All the Hot Toys models I've seen in person and online look exactly the same as this. If you're talking about the actual car in the movies yes I think the entire interior is one color hahaha.
Sadly Hot Toys put way more effort in all those time machine stuff rather than on the car itself. So the details of the car are - especially in relation to it's scale - kinda bad. The top door edges for example are way to sharp. On the original Delorean there is no real edge when the door gets to the roof, it's a really smooth edge, not like on the hot toys model. Furthermore you can see that the shape of the door edge is even a bit off on top of the a pillar as it doesn't align with the door window. Then there are the wrong door handles. On the hot toys model you can see that the door handle seems to have a part of the stainless steel movable. On the original car that's not the case, you just lift up the little black door handle. The door hinges looks kinda weird as well, could have easy been covered so that it looks original. Next is the Front Trunk with spare Tire. The spare tire is not an aluminum one, instead they used a very small steel-wheel, because the aluminum wheel wouldn't fit underneath the floor panel...oh and the wheel is not aligned correctly. On the actual delorean the wheel doesn't sit in the center, it sits more on the pessenger side. There are even a few parts missing, like the door struts, windshield wipers cleaning pipe etc. Don't get me wrong. Of course there can be some differences between model and original..but those are quite big differences (to me). Never the less it's a pretty impressive model when you look at the size of it.
