    Jesh , one would think the silicone would have an additive that would over come a slightly greasy surface . Give the uaw another rasise and they might get it right . 👍

      Rtv will not bond to a dirty surface. A lot of care needs to be put into surface prep and cure time for proper adhesion

      When I did my rear differential I used a lube locker gasket , one of my better decisions.​@@swmfers

      Funny, that's pretty much what I said to a coworker right after removing 😂
