Good evening Tim. I don't know how anybody could not understand that. When you crawl up into that thing which by the way is awesome looking come on, and you turn the key over you know she'll start. And when you let the clutch out you know she'll pull down the road. You are not constantly visiting the repair shop and spending all your money fixing broken Volvo stuff. And if it breaks it's under warranty that's pretty simple. Love what you do man, have a good weekend. Let me know when you get them t-shirts brother.
tim, i had a crappy day at work, bad mood, headache all day, watched and listened to your "ramblings" and my head quit hurtin and in a better mood.
keep the videos and rambling going, love it man
Head cam my favorite view.....thank you...thank you....mashing your motor to pass the other truck...just pure fun....how do you split a gear..with a flick of your finger...exhausting work....thanks for the videos Tim,very much appreciated...take care God Bless...............see ya...
Beautiful truck. Good videos. I like the trucking videos. I watch in full screen so I can truck vicariously thru u.
Thank you Tim for another fine journey. Happy Videos with that new Mac. My brother says "YES SIR" with the same inflection and I've asked him what it's from. Do you recall. That and the BEEP BEEP total crack me up. Thumbs up on your videos. Yes Sir, thumbs up!!!
You taught how to back way better in really tight spaces. Greatly appreciated sir!
I love this channel and kudos to you for your success! Success is the greatest revenge. That trainer had no idea who he was dealin' with. Blessings!💯☮🙏
Tim, olgold Cb shop red oak Iowa. He sits at the saap brothers in council bluffs 3 days a week. He does online orders etc. honest to goodness, he’s a one of a kind. Does absolutely phenomenal work, and will stand by every last ounce of work he does. Look him up sometime, truly a rare kind these days, and a wonderful person.
I miss these days of you and Indiana jack on the road. Both my fav American truckers quit driving around the same time
You hit monteagle in the drivin rain, so hard you couldn't see the passin lane, well you started down grade when you dropped a gear, you hit them jakes and brought her down the hill, the monteagle grade was steep and long and everybody that seen him thought that ole Ghorley was gone. Well the truck came on down with a monstrous sound, he was grabbin them gears and makin that Cummins growl, a lot of folks seen him and they all say he had that peterbuilt 389 showin em the way. Well he got her to the bottom, safe and sound and everybody asked Tim how he made it down, and he said folks when you have a truck from peterbuilt steve, you just ease her to the bottom cause that is the way. Now you've heard about the legend of Jessie James, and John Henry just to mention some names, but there's a truck driver comin to ya from eastern Tennessee, and man called Tim Ghorley and his 2018 389. Come on now.
Damn he hit his jakes in the rain coming down a monster hill. Crazy baby.
Hes just an idiot
Really enjoy you videos Tim, rambling and all :)..thanks for sharing...take care and God Bless..
It helps when a t/t parks in the curve of the road with their trailer doors open.
Great video driver. I agree with ya on the new truck,it has a great warranty. Just have PM's and tires to deal with.
It’s a sad thing to say, that you have to explain what it means to split a gear. You’re driving my dream truck, Brother. Roll on!
I'm guessing that allot of people watching this channel have never been any closer then this to a truck.
Nice video. And I don’t know if it’s your mic or what but for a carb compliant Pete your truck sounds like a beast. Which Cummins is always a beast!!
That "pass at will"pedal works great! Love that x15 there Driver!
Well, congrats Tim, at 2.5 mil. miles, you finally caught up. :D C'MON !
Tim!! What you should do is Drop by that Old Company and go see that Safety Director. And invite him out to see Your Truck & Trailer. Then Thank Him for saying "You'll never make it as a driver." Then let him know that 2.5+ million SAFE miles that HE WAS RIGHT!!
Definitely interested in the video between the two truck worlds , used versus new .
Hello from OKC. Next time you're here let me buy you a meal and cuppa coffee or beverage of choice. It took me a moment but then I recognized exactly where you were driving in OKC, recognized the road and businesses. Safe travels my friend Tim, come on!
Hey there Tim, this guy from the Midwest still lovin your videos, still keeping up on all of em when I ain't workin, lol. Good to see you still doin your thing out there. I really liked the video(s) you made of 2 different P.O.V.'s of you backing in that TIGHT dock delivering insulation a little while back. Awesome job man, as usual ;). I know you mentioned in this vid that it might've been the motherboard that died in your Alienware... Jeez you have terrible luck with PCs. If other than that you mostly have problems with you hard drives failing, especially in laptops... I hope you're not still buying any PCs that have the old mechanical read/write "disk" drives... Those will never be reliable to save important info on long term.. especially combined with the heat/bumping that laptops make and are exposed to. Always buy em with solid state hard drives if possible. Just a tip. Sorry for the long comment... Keep on Killin it man. Stay safe! -Keith
hey my friend I hope you have good safe travels I always look forward to watching your videos I usually work from 3: 30 till midnight so I usually watch him when I get home and I stream it usually from my my phone to my TV which is a 72 inch TV and boy let me tell you it's just like I'm riding with you right there but you be safe out there on the roads and God bless come on
Instead of him I meant you sorry darn phone and Technology got to love it
Glad air lines working out great.
Beautiful Truck and Trailer.
Good morning. Safe travels to you..
I dont get to watch a whole lot. but when I do i watch what i can. love the vids. im contracted to A&R transport. an i gotta say youve inspired me to get a 389. thinking mabey lavender with purple fenders. would love to try dry freight! keep em inbetween the lines an if you hit the ole 55 north, 10 west, or 40 west. look for a pink an white flat top. ill hollar at ya! keep the vids coming come ON!
Still blows my mind seeing you guys turning right on a red light. Wish we could do that here, ah well...life is good!
Hey there. Just found your channel, somehow I haven’t before. Love the rig and nice to see another GA boy out here doing it to it.
Harold Huffman III awesome and welcome aboard
Having watched more Im very glad I did. Im also in the spot market with my own truck and trailer but leased to a small carrier with a great guy. The truck is especially interesting to me since I’m looking to replace my 386 soon and get a real truck lol come on.
Completely agree with you Tim. Running a new rig is cheaper than running a used rig. By the time you factor in the repair costs and down time for a used rig; it's costing more than the payment on a new rig. Some people just don't understand numbers.
Come on.
Great video Mr. G!!!
Nice vid Tim. To many wana be video police monitors. Truck looking good. Have a good day.
undisclosed location in Mexico!!!! Ha I like it. I'm using that from now on. Keep the hammer down brother...
That thing sure does pull! Got around that JCT quick for a big ol rig! Dang Mexcio is looking pretty! :P
Well Tim as a driver of many years, I did have a big cat, 625 hp then chipped to 750 hp. Yep probably would outdo that X15, However currently driving a 2014 with ISX 15 tuned to 605 hp and 2050 torque and lovin it. Most superior jake brake system out their!!!! May beat a guy up hill with that cat, but he wouldnt hold a candle when you started down hill. I would take that ISX15 anyday over a cat. Run the steep hilly country of British Columbia where the down hill is as long as the up hill, and many mountain passes to the coast. X15 of yours would be the first to the coast Tim. Keep up the good videos.
The 625 was a junk acert cat the 6nz and the 7cz was the last good cats made
That's true of ltl freight handling Tim BUt in my 30 or so years in that type of freight we had many times where the shipper bought the trailer so to speak. Isn't that done down there?
Hey Tim! Little Dawg is pulling 700 lbs to Denver out of Ohio. You two are on that heavy haul program!👍👍
Lil dawg is such a douche,no clue why people think he is so damn cool
When I first started making videos, I used iMovie for a quick minute, and started watching videos about Final Cut Pro, and quickly went that direction. Judging from what “The Experts” say, Premiere is the gold standard, but Final Cut Pro is a close second. I love using FCP X for my videos. I learn how to do something new (to me) and creative (to me) every video. I swear, it takes almost as long to download my SD cards from my (3) GoPros as it does to edit the video together.
I like truck stops like the north 40. I try to stop when I pass just to keep the business going.
Light load for the big Pete. Betchya you got some great fuel mileage. Nice rig for sure.🙋♂️
Hi great video see you on the next one buddy
Tim, you can run Windows on your MacBook. I have Windows on one of my Macs so I can run the few Windows programs that I really need. I use VMware Fusion on my machine. It works just fine but there are others you could use. I bought a single user version of Windows 8 which is all I need for around $100. Once you get used to the Mac, you'll never look back.
Beautiful truck.
Chattanooga is long overdue for a bypass. They'd have to dynamite their way through the mountain to build one though.
love your videos considering getting into trucking. For some reason it seems to draw me in. lol
It’s a shame that people have anything negative to say to you about anything. Not their Money, Not their Truck, Not their Life. Come on. 😎
i ran monteagle on a mountain bike with slicks. ( charity ride) got north of 40 damn near wrecked. yeah it was stupid ill agree,. but it sure was fun, and something i dont think ill do again
Great video and I know why you didn't film much at the start, not a damn thing to see here in Oklahoma least not OKC area....lol
Trailer wheels lol good! Did you show the install? I didn't see that one.
rob peters I had the footage, I broke the 👽 alien laptop, it’s in the shop
New subscriber here.. beautiful beautiful beautiful 389 you have driver, love the colors
Easy Money welcome to the idiotic ramblings and thanks for watching 👍
Would love to see a video of ya backing in at home. That looks squirrelly. Come'on
Glad you got the jalopy up and down Monteagle on the first try. :-)
Gooood Mornin'!!
Somewhere in an undisclosed location in Mexico... oh Tim 😂😂😂
Trucker X 😁😂🤣
Looked just like Baja California to me. 🙄
Damn what kind of trailer is that? I love the lights inside.
Ktmoney Great Dane
Have a wonderful blessed day Tim!
Good Morning Tim! Please do the operating cost of your truck. I'm very interested in seeing the difference because I bought myself a 2008 freightliner classic XL and did a out of frame thinking it would be better. Thank you sir and have a great day.
Why would you do an out of frame on a 08 freight shaker? Still not carb compliant, still terrible fuel milage, still 11 years old.
13 and up
George Jungle I'm carb compliant. I bought it with a egr 14L 60 series with a DPF system already installed.
Robiie Ray Out here in California 2010 is recognized as compliant because DPF systems were introduced that year. But if you have a older truck and add a DPF system it will make you compliant. If you look up the multi- regulation summary (MRS) it gives you the break down by year on how to be compliant and what year you would have to change your engine to 2010 or greater. With my engine year (2008) I have till Jan. 1, 2023 to decide what I want to do. Meaning change my engine to a 2010 model year or buy a newer truck.
@@christophersatterwhite8548 I thought those were only good till 2018.
Hey my name is Shane I really enjoy watching your videos
Yes!
Scott Black Cycles 👍🏆
I like the North 40 too.
What them ole jakes sound like in that new machine 🚛
Nice rants Tim! Very nice indeed, come on!
Run a Macbook Pro with Premiere, and keep it dedicated for video, you won't be sorry. You can get a windows machine for invoices, etc for a couple hundred. Or use existing for that crap.
I hope the Oklahoma roads didn't throw you around to much, they can get pretty rough.
You tell em Tim 👍
Big Jim from bonny Scotland..new to ur channel...I will follow follow...🚛🚚
James Morrow thank you and welcome to the idiotic ramblings and especially for watching from Scotland 🏴👍
Hey Mr Tim! I was wondering can I turn off the Peterbuilt Navigation? I’m not a big fan of it coming on and it’s loud too! 👍🏼👍🏼
Hey Mr Tim I just got my Facebook up again and sent you a request.
Jonathan Bulman yes you can disable the audio in the factory navigation, and then it will not interrupt the radio 👍
Life is Good. Yessir I will try that, thanks
Sir Tim !!! Again,,If the new drivers would of had to run the ""ol" Mounteagle b/4 they did all the road work after 1980 plus ,,they would have more respect for what that road is !!! As you know from living in the area,,you still have respect for what you are driving and understand what the truck will & can do !!!! Motor, gearing & of course --BRAKES !!!! They don't teach that in Truck Driver School as they wouldn't have any students as they would scare them off !!!! Ain't that the TRUTH ??????? KEEP IT SAFE !!!!
K B the same with 26 over Sam’s Gap before they completed 23. It was ‘fun’. And if you were having too much fun, the law would be waiting for you at the bottom.
Morning great vid
I love the way that speed limits, only applies to a few.
Sounds like something that would be said by a driver who works for a company that dont trust there drivers so they castrate there truxks
Tim when did you put the chrome visors on the doors and bunk windows. Really looks Sharp Man, Stylin Come on.
As an owner op can you do a multiple load pickup and drop if the capacity is there? Or does it have to be coordinated between shippers and receivers beforehand?
Michael Lee long as it works with his route and schedule and he has room on his trailer he can put as many loads on his trailer simultaneously as he wants.
Hey man come across your videos been watching a ton of them but when you started come out rain squalls on your window I don't know if you know who Donnie Baker is but you LOL kind of sound like Donnie Baker
Love the Mexico part haha!
48:00 bless you driver
nice video Tim, come on'
Passed you the other day in Indiana heading west
love my Rand Mac.. we call him RANDY
Morning Tim! I’ve been meaning to ask, “IF” you could buy a Volvo 860 with a X15 when trading time comes, would you do that or pick up another Pete?
Who in there right mind would ever want a Volvo?
LOL, I couldn’t help myself. It sounded like Tim may be partial to Volvo’s a little and I wanted his advise. The 389 has always been my dream truck but I’m always open to other ideas. Especially if it’s comfffffy inside with lots of room and has a the best power unit out there. :)
Hey Tim...keep them wheels a spinning and the girls a grinning....
It sounds like you are talking about Red Foods... memories memories.
mlhickey21 yes sir 👍

MacBook Pro is great. Very easy to learn, and it won't crash.
U need a shifter extension
Tell us about your CB and Antenna.
Samuel Morrlson currently it sucks 👎 fixing to break bad on it 👍
Sorry, one other question, why new front shocks with only 180K in miles. I have 380K on my Cascadia and still have the original shocks. Maybe I’m WAY over do???
TNG64 yes you are way over due 👍
I would never admit to driving a freightliner
Sorry Ginger (from Gillian’s Island?), I’m a retired Licensed Mortgage Consultant of 28 years. Never drive a truck in my life until July 8, 2015 when I attended Fox Valley Technical college and passed my driving test the first time. Then I drive as a company driver for 1.6 years decided it wasn’t enough money and purchased a 2016 mid-roof Cascadia with Loan Mointain (couldn’t get a truck loan through Rush for a Pete because I’m
A rookie) With on 229K Miles. So, been driving solo for 3 years as of 08/10/18 leased on to a New England company. I’ll have this girl paid off in 32 months then I’m going to look at Rush or Fitzgerald and I’m hoping to purchase my last truck which will be a 2021 Pete 389. Got it all figured out! ;)
@@TNG64 great plans I must say
@@TNG64 Sounds like you are getting it done! Long Haul Larry also went to Fox Valley for his CDL, and he's a good guy & driver, knows his stuff, lives in Sheboygan. I'm in the Chicago area, getting ready to take my CDL exam.
Can I ask what you use for editing? I want to learn how to edit.
Great vid as always!
Alienware PC's are very HOT machine to begin with the vents are on the bottom and will overheat the processor. Apple Runs SSD But the Processor is still cooled by a fan. There may not look like there are any vents but there are. Apple just hides them. From Windows to Apple is always a hard leap.
alienwares are just a rebagged dell. better off getting an ASUS ROG laptop.
I had a safety director tell me my luck was about to run out, I told him he was a lousy sarety director if he believes my safe driving had anything to do with luck, I had twelve years then, retired with 26 plus then I retired from trucking. Pull toy told you that.
Tim send the guy who said you wouldn't make it a link to your youtube page. And don't forget The Bandit made his last trip. Rest In Peace Mr. Reynolds.
Headed to Woodstock Virginia from Denver Colorado world's lightest load
IMHO, I-24 thru TN (especially between Nashville and Clarksville), becoming very treacherous. Seems to me it used to be patrolled more frequently. I guess the Opioid epidemic has pulled resources from the interstates!
Cops need to go back to being public servant and stop being a public nuisance
Do you have an email that we can contact you at?
Rooster Cruisin to Myrtle Beach for a 2wks of very needed vacation. C'mon
Trucker Eugene you might be the only one on the beach 🏖 if you can get there.
Did your interior trailer lights go off automatically?
Dana Kibby yes it’s equipped with courtesy lights
Dana Kibby the trailer, sorry yes they have a timer and also if the brake is released they go off
Tim I personally get that comments on my 2018 389 and they don’t bother me bye the way any polish guy would you recommend in Houston area??
There is a RUclips trucker named lil dawg, he will polish your knob
That's my speed Tim 68mph and my 389 does 6.5mpg to 7mpg depending on the weight.
Mornin...was paying my ucr...🐌🐌🐌
UCR... I hope the fight keeps up against that... Been quiet lately.

Did ya get you a couple of bologna & tomato sandwich while you were at the North 40?
Last time I went there I left really quick there was a bunch of cr england drivers in there and they was drinking wine coolers and smoking Virginia slims
I can't stand streaky glass, the way I clean my glass is the best and quickest. 100% clean and streak free with nothing but water and two 3M Microfiber cloths, not the regular Microfiber cloths you find anywhere and everywhere. I came across it by accident because it's all I had with me.
@@gingervitis1070 bless your heart
You should buy a nice MSI laptop for your video editing. I recommend a GS 60.
I just want to know how wide that Gap actually is
lowriderrider what gap
@@LifeisGood2018 between the truck and trailer
My old lady is got a really big gap, she putting out more meat than cargill, she don't have a snatch, she got a sewer pipe
