i like ace WAY better than ollie. the idea of him being a fellow former employee, dead or alive, or a kid that somehow escaped playcare and is now grown and helping to take it down is so much more interesting than gregory 2.0. shame he got cut.
Who knows, they usually don't cut characters to cut characters maybe we'll see ace at some point. I mean, look at that one dude who shows up every chapter in the vhs tapes, wouldn't it make sense that ace will be reused at some point? Maybe I'm coping.
Fr. When I heard him i immediately thought “Wait is this Poppy playtime or FNAF?” And I genuinely thought it was the wrong game. Ollie is kinda boring.
Ikr?! Ollie's voice actor needed serious practise. He sounds so out of place of the game to the point that I didn't want to listen to his instructions the first time I played PPCh3.

@@mistahjenkins4826 I typed 204863 into Google and it turned out to be the title of a song from metal gear solid V by a swedish composer who does a lot of work for Kojima, so I'm assuming this also has something to do with them using place holder audio from pt? Especially since he worked on death stranding, which was the next thing kojima did after pt was cancelled
24:25 there actually is a use for the orange hand in the boss fight! it's how you tell the difference between hallucination cat naps and the real cat nap, but i do agree it would've been nice if it had more use than that and scaring off the little smiling critters
A bit off topic, but I kinda wish they did more in the counselor office like avoiding catnap and using smoke to lure him away from locations we needed to go to.

A bit off topic, but I kinda wish that the CatNap boss fight was explained much better on how to play it because on paper the boss fight was interesting and fun once you actually know how to play, the problem was that it was explained pretty poorly on a screen most people wouldn’t bother to read which resulted in a bunch of frustrating deaths of trial and error.
Yeah I agree tbh, I think they updated the text on screen in one of the updates iirc, but still!
I’m exactly the same! Hell, when I played, I had no idea you could use the flare hand because I MISSED THAT TEXT, and I had to beat it without. I only learned after I watched a streamer play it later, and I felt so stupid lol.

This is the coolest reference ever!! Straight off the bat, the hallucination section of the game reminded me so much of P.T. Not only was that a gentle nod to that game, but they used the radio broadcast FROM P.T. during development!!? That is awesome!!

i believe the so called "demonic" language that plays on one of the radios in home sweet home is meant to be swedish. there were a few words like "tillbaka" (back) and "mycket snart" (very soon) and the last word i believe was "dimension". i can't exactly make out what the audio fully says, but if anyone can find an unedited version of the audio, i'd be able to translate it fully!

That's a Pistol. Barrel is less than 16 inches. Its equipped with a Pistol Brace, not a shoulder stock, they are not the same thing. That's an angled fore grip on the hand guard. A vertical grip is a big no-no for the pistol platform. Also that optic looks likes a Vortex Strike Fire II Red Dot. We can't have "Zooming" functions on the AR pistol platform, yet. lol

I find it facinating to look behind the curtain of these games, it gives a bit of a perspective of the direction they wanted it to go, truly interesting.

The clean model actually is (kinda) used in the game.
You can see it in the "hour of joy incident" video Poppy shows us at the end of the game, where an employee is chased by Ms. Delight and her sisters.
i think the funni xbox looking controller was an easter egg which got deleted for "limon:D" for the ragers and the people which would give the game a -10/10 for being mascot horror.

Well there’s are theories going around that the next place we are going is either a prison or an amusement park and if chapter 4 is an amusement park hopefully they use some of those old plans for that unused duck ride and playground.

an off-topic observation, but anyone noticed the UNDENIABLE similarities between the Hour of Joy and FNaF's Happiest Day?
The were some major differences, sure, but the idea of *the spirits of murdered kids taking their vengeance out on both their killers and anyone unknowingly (and a couple knowingly) tied to their deaths* being implemented in both franchises is too same-y for me to be able to ignore.
I really wonder what Ace was supposed to be, maybe a toy of a character that's supposed to be heroic and cool cause it's weird how smug he is, maybe that's why they got rid of him or maybe it's just cause they came up with the idea to base their phone guy on 90s talking toy phones

That's a prerendered set of images, so no, I wouldn't consider that used as there's no way of knowing if that's the same model.
(Have not finished watching but just got to this part). Wasn’t the orange hand still utilised in the final battle to figure out which cat nap was real and which was an illusion? I suppose if you’re fast enough to close all entrances then it doesn’t matter but I had to use it every time to make sure it was the right one.
