You could also argue that there's a different "magic" to seeing it all come together, though. Save the kind of magic you want for the conventions, I say.

Do you use any particular brand and type of zip? We have loads of giant Dinosaur puppets, and the zips are always breaking. I just want to pay for expensive perfect zips!
I buy from my local shop, I think shopping around and try different ones is all we really can do ;D Good luck!
