I have the new M5 competition. I recommend it over the M8 competition, I have owned a M8 competition for 3 months. The suspension of the M5 it is better than M8's suspension. The front seats are much more comfortable than M8's seats; if you are a tall person 6"2 you will have a difficulty driving long distances the M8 due to the M seats (the front seats of M8 are different (stiffer and narrower) than the M5's). I recommend the M5 competition. M5 it is much more practical. M8 is beautiful but being a new developed car it cannot compete with an established model, in my opinion. The first time I have choose the looks over the comfort, and I couldn't live with that so I have had to change the car. Before you buy any of these cars, or any car for that matter, it is best to take it for at least 3-4 times to drive tests on the roads that you are familiar with and only after that you should choose. I know that this is a topic for M5 Competition 2021, the car that I recommend, but I wanted to share my experience with the big brother of M5 comp the M8 comp. M8 comp it is not quite a daily driver, the M5 comp is. The new M5 comp is better looking than the old M5 comp; the laser lights that can be fitted on this new M5 comp give the car a better look and better vision in night conditions. I didnt like the looks of the former M5 comp, it was too similar with the 530 model. If you are thinking that the M550i is a better choice, because it is cheaper, you can go with it, but bear in mind, it is just a 5 series with a larger engine, no sport suspension, no performance engine, no performance gearbox, just a low price. What I didn't also liked at M8 comp, were the brakes (are some new electronically controlled brakes, that you can set, but they feel weird and I couldn't get used with them. What I dont like at both cars is the steering wheel feel in Sport setting, it is too light, too disconnected from the car, it should be stiffer, it gives you the sensation that the car floats at higher speeds. There are so many things that are to be said about these sport cars, but everyone will find them after owning them. Like I have said earlier, this is my opinion about the car. The engines with a lot of electronics and stuff are very muddy, you will find out this. If when going on a hill, not very steep, and you are in the 5th and you sense that it changes very fast in the 4th, it means that the engine doesn't have enough torque and it needs to increase the rpm in order to get the right amount of torque - if the engine performs well, it should not do that. @@Shift4g it’s just good quality videos
@@Shift4g Look at it versus a much lower effort channel like Doug demuro. Love Doug, but his content is mediocre production wise, and he’s never improved anything in that regard really. Never a moving shot of a car from a chase car, or fly-bys, or decent camera work at all lol.
That intro is better than the whole new top gear .. Absolutely brillant
BMW is my fave all over those German brands 🔥🔥
People complaining about the kidney grills and I'm here together with Thomas, happy that the M5 has kept the Hofmeister Kink. A real touch of beauty.
Lololololololol...if you guys ever stop making these fun intros, im going to fly out to Canada, and install the bmw 4er huge grills on all your personal cars.
Hahahaha you guys are hilarious...truly the best automative journalist entertainment channel.
These guys need a tv show
You guys need to watch this video with headphones. That Engine sounds sexyy asf 😌😌😌 M Nation
Never failing with the intro my new favorite channel! Love this channel
Makes me laugh anytime anyone complains about lack of steering feel on snow tires. On snow tires, you're signing up for lack of feel because of how soft and squishy the tread blocks are.
Yeah it's not really fair. Then they reference it in the M5 CS review, which is on a streetable track tire.
Dude getting punched in the gut scene won you a subscriber right there. Normally I find those types of created scenes in RUclips videos really cheesy, but that was in a good way, and actually funny.
Loved the intro. Hate the new huge kidney grills on the new M4 & M3.
You guys never fail on your intros. lol
Love the new grills myself.
Your intros are just awesome guys and great review as always. Well done
merry christmas guys hope your doing well
Hello Throttle how are you doing today
@@michaelsherman6821 fine
Subscribed now because of the cars but the delivery of content... keep it fresh guys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I am hoping you guys will review the BMW M5 CS and do a track test and on both the comp and the CS. I think if they get the tactility and handling dynamics right of the cs it will be top of it’s class. Just this past week the M5 CS did a lap on a German Track not the Nordshlieff, and was only about 1/10 of a second behind a Ferrari 812 Superfast! Please review the CS or at least have it on Extra Throttle House. Also if any other of guys out in the comment section want to see more throttle house go to Extra Throttle House their new channel!
Guys, can you try to increase the sound quality, possibly with some new mics, as there is a huge difference between the voiceovers in your vids and the live chats.
As always, another great review!!
Greetings from Bulgaria!
Thank you for explaining what “LCI” means. 🙂
I love your videos. I never miss any. Can you please review an M8 grand coupe. If possible??
Such a great review! Can't stop laughing! Well done guys!
I’ve never wanted a car as much as this one
The last version of the M5 was perfect.. they’ve made it look sedentary now
Then buy the last version
I will admit I liked the looks of the old version.
@@All_SportGG stupid reply, just because I prefer something doesn’t mean I go an buy it 😒
@@soccergolfball1269 yea for sure
Do you mean pre-facelift F90 or last gen F10?
You guys make the best content on RUclips, and I'm not even really into cars like that
"The Ultimate 5 series", well not anymore they revealed the M5 Club Sport💪🏾
Thats a shame my dad just got a m5 ima tell him now
The intro of these videos are what keep me coming back for more. Very funny and unique. 👍🏼
It's such a good looking car 😍 love the spec!
I really appreciate the executed efforts from Bimmer, Benz & Audi...they seem to really care about delivering the entire package in a single package & the offering of so many models and trims to chose from... I'll NVR deviate from these 3 brands again (hence: bought a 2019 RedEye Challenger, worst $ I ever spent and lost)!
Loved the "Get Him to the Greek'" refrence
Easily the best car channel on RUclips!!
Come for the intro, stay for the review and bloopers at the end.
So nobody gonna say anything about Ali Khan's craaaayzy car collection eh 🤯
