In The Little Mermaid, when Ariel is seen by Eric for the first time, she looks in the wrong direction when the dog comes.
You're right. Oh, well, can't squeeze in everything.
Didn’t notice
Maybe she’s dumb
I always loved when Disney draw the cartoons by hand, rather than using a computer, I enjoyed it more.
Defo and the animation was so different too, there called the classics for a reason.
👏
Me too. I even wish good old hand drawn 2D Disney animation would come back.
Same here.
Same!
About that Elsa scene where her hair passed through her shoulder, animators use so-called "cheats" so that actions appear smoothly on-screen. It's not lazy work. It's actually time-saving rather than having Elsa reach for that hair on a very limited time. Not to mention you have to time the beat in the song or the dialog. Some actions only need to be 'felt' by the audience, not seen.
Also, i'm an animator.
Honestly the hair never bothered me, I never noticed it as a kid and if I try to notice now I have to focus and I'm to busy singing the song 🤣. Also your job must be so cool, I would love to try and get a job for animation ^_^
Agree :)
I watched that particular scene in slow motion for like a hundred times now and I STILL fail to see her hair fusing to her shoulder. I don’t think that mother was as eagle-eyed as she thought
@@TCWRebelsResistanceWords it does go through the shoulder-
@@TCWRebelsResistanceWords Ha, ha, you clearly not a mother yet :D And yes, the hair goes through the shoulder but it's animation trick for speed and, beside it, who cares? Definitely not kids!
I noticed one while rewatching Tarzan recently. When Tarzan is battling with Sabor, the cat scratches his chest and clearly leaves claw marks yet in the next scene the scars are completely gone.
My theory with the "who needs glasses anyway?" scene from "Inside Out" is that maybe Riley's mom was going to cry tears of joy because she was now a mother with an adorable baby, and she just took her glasses off while she was off screen. That's the best way I could think of how that happened.
We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents.

"YOU ARE A TOY" favorite quote from Toy Story
"The word I'm looking for;I can't say, because there's pre-school toys here."
"He is crazy" - Olaf 😂
I read your comment right when that part played in the video! 😂
It’s hilarious
My theory/head canon for why King Candy’s logo can still be seen around Sugar Rush after the reset is that there actually was a King Candy who was a minor NPC, and when Turbo took over he was able to successfully delete him and take his place. This plan didn’t work with Vanellope because she was an actual playable character who couldn’t be erased that easily. So Turbo took over as King Candy, and didn’t need to do much more because all the logos and branding were already there.
To be fair Kristoph not making a mark in the snow is an obvious mistake but Olaf on top of Kristoph was probably the animators decision because otherwise Olaf would have been squashed a little brutal for a Disney movie
In Wreck-it Ralph we are clearly told characters cannot regenerate outside of their own game. However Venelope is in her own game. Hence regenerating a lost tooth.
17:27 “🎵Let The Storm Rage OOOOONNNNN......The Cold NEVER Bothered Me Anyway.🎼”
- Elsa, 2013
It takes a strong fish to swim against the current. Even a dead one can float with it
Where did you get that saying?
@@andreasmeelie1889 they could've made it up themselves.
With buzz freezing i have always thought of it as he believes he is undercover
I've got a continuity error that nobody ever talks about. According to the third Little Mermaid movie Ariel met Flounder in her teens after stumbling onto the club. However, in the series, it's established that Ariel and Flounder meet when both are still children.
Maybe no one talks about it because it’s the little mermaid 3 and barely anyone watched past #1 :p
I thought I should share one that wasn’t listed, which I was rather surprised wasn’t on this list. In “The Lion King,” there’s numerous times when adult Simba’s eyes continuously change color from the correct one of gold and red to white and purple, most noticeably when he’s under the starlit sky and talking with Rafiki. However, when Mufasa’s ghost comes to confront him, his eyes temporarily change back to his correct color. But while I was watching the film yesterday (April 7, 2022) for the hundredth time I noticed that there’s one brief second during that scene where Simba’s eyes temporarily change from the correct golden red color to the false white purple color, then changes back again. But when Mufasa leaves, it goes back to the false color until Simba returns to Pride Rock, where it stays the correct color for the remainder of the film. Simba is the ONLY CHARACTER whose eyes change color in the ENTIRE film! What’s up with that!?!
Even as a kid the underwear thing was noticeable and confusing to me.
It should not have been that obvious.
Tarzan's opening scene had an error too. When Tarzan's parents' ship sank and they were able to lower the lifeboat, the boat was empty. It only had Tarzan and his parents in it. When they reached shore and built their treehouse, there were items on it and they used them to build the treehouse. Where did those items come from and how did they salvage them?
They could have washed ashore. If they crashed into rocks or a reef, they could have used the lifeboat to salvage.
i've been watching Cinderella multiple times for years and only now i notice the missing sleeves :O
In The Little Mermaid during the Kiss The Girl Scene Ariel hair is down but during the middle of the song her shadow has her hair in a ponytail when its down throughout the whole song.
Beast mistake shouldn't be on the list. I noticed that even as a kid & I never had problem cuz IT COULD SIMPLY BE ANOTHER PORTRAIT, he was a prince obsessed with looks so most likely there were dozens of his portraits within the castle!
Does anyone else notice that in Tangled, when Gothel stabs Flynn there is no blood on the knife at all?
Yep! That bugs me, but I just figured it was left clean to not upset kids, which doesn’t make sense because there’s blood 🩸 on his shirt!? 🤪
@@AuntieRoma I remember hearing somewhere that the blood in his shirt was actually okay to be seen since he was just injured, but the bloody knife would've changed the movie's rating.
It's Disney, I don't think blood is allowed (like how Americans edit Japanese anime to omit blood and gore)
@@charliejoson9145 that's a good point
They intentionally didn’t show blood on the knife because it would have made the movie be rated pg-13 instead of pg
I’m more freaked out by Cinderella’s toeless feet. They do several close-ups of her feet, and she doesn’t have toes! No wonder her shoes kept falling off. I also would’ve included the disappearing baby raccoon in Bambi. I think that one was eventually fixed, but it’s still in my copy. Also, the baby pegasuses that changed colors when diving into a fountain in Fantasia was a rather obvious one.
I think that the second wedding dress is when they first get married and the first one is their second marriage from the third Cinderella movie since it closely resembles.
I legit never noticed in Frozen, that Hans never carried his sword around when approaching Elsa.
Hans could easily conceal a sword. There are plenty of videos on RUclips you can find of people concealing weapons you would never suspect or think possible.
Biggest mistake was not including Jafar's version of Prince Ali song in 2019 Aladdin movie
Woah I didn’t even notice it wasn’t included in the 2019 version of the movie until you said it. And yea it was such a bummer it wasn’t in the movie.
For the Wreck it Ralph "error" I saw a theory that there was originally King Candy, the father of Vanellope. But because of Turbo he was erased for good. He was a king and he always was attending his daughters race so we still can see his initials everywhere because the game was programed to have those. But all characters forgot about him.
Wow! What a number of mistakes I have not paid attention at all previously!
In Aladdin, after Aladdin rescues Jasmine from getting her arm chopped off, he hands her the merchant's sword which she puts behind her back. However, as they're leaving, the sword has disappeared.
There are actually a few more animation mistakes in Tangled. Things in her tower are constantly moving places. For example, in the beginning when mother gothel is brushing young Rapunzels hair in front of the fire place, there is a broom leaning against it on the right side. Then, when the camera zooms up a little, you see that the broom has switched places, and is now of the left side inside the fire place. Also, the closet she locks Eugene in is moved around quite a bit. When Rapunzel is singing “When Will My Life Begin?” right near the end you see the top of her tower when she’s tossing her hair everywhere. The wardrobe is next to the window with the sitting area (not the window she looks out of) but later the wardrobe is nowhere near that. Another thing is the spinning wheel from Sleeping Beauty is ALSO moved around a ton. Plus, the mirror that is shattered at the end is right next to the staircase at that scene (Speaking of staircase the staircase disappears and reappears) but in an earlier scene when Rapunzel keeps saying “I’ve got a person in my closet” you see that mirror is next to the mirror and is not near the staircase. By the way, I found all these I did not see them on RUclips or anything so there won’t be any video on them if you wanna look for them.
Another animation mistake from Pocahontas, the Union Jack is torn during the Storm, but as John and Thomas go to the crows nest, the Union Jack is back to normal, there was no time to fix it or a replacement.
“There’s no way I’m racing with a glitch.”
Me: You just insulted Glitchtrap.
This has to be thw first time I saw a fnaf comment under a disney video xD
But it fits so well xDD
There are two mistakes I love that not many people notice and weren't in this count down..
In Beauty and the Beast, when the villages are all attacking, Lefou goes after the footrest. The dog runs into the kitchen with Lefou's shoe in his mouth, look at Lefou again, he's wearing his shoe while the dog has it, then it's not on his foot again.
In Bambi, the VHS Classic version I have, near the end, when the animals are all escaping the fire, the mom racoon is carrying a baby in her mouth. She lays it down and begins licking it, seconds later, the baby has moved over beside her with the fur still being licked while the baby is NOT under mom licking it. then it's back. Looks like a few stills got moved.
After many times seeing the mistake pointed out, not even slow-mo can make me see Elsa's hair going through her shoulder. Just looks like it's flopping over it. I can't see it, it's so frustrating XD
the elsa shoulder thing was done on purpose because if they hadn't done it that way the whole movie woulda been a buggy mess... is what i heard somewhere i don't remember where.
The mistakes are part of what made making these movies fun...or so they say anyway.XD
If there was a DreamWorks mistakes video, I'd love it end with Master Oogway from Kung Fu Panda saying "There are no mistakes"
In the frozen 1 we can see Elza singing his iconic Let it go but we can see Elza’s hair goes through her shoulder a very cool and interesting mistake moment of Disney
Yep
Personally, I'm glad that in one of my favorite games of all times, Kingdom Hearts 3, they put this whole song and scene in the game and actually fix that little error. When I saw that, I fell even more in love with the game and the franchise than I already was.
its actually not a mistake. I got this from @Faya Lavaro "About that Elsa scene where her hair passed through her shoulder, animators use so-called "cheats" so that actions appear smoothly on-screen. It's not lazy work. It's actually time-saving rather than having Elsa reach for that hair on a very limited time. Not to mention you have to time the beat in the song or the dialog. Some actions only need to be 'felt' by the audience, not seen."
*Elsa*
Or she just took off her glasses. I can still see well without my glasses. Not everyone that wears glasses is completely blind
Its ok
Or it wasn't glasses it was her hair
@creativecrafts21 that's what I thought it didn't look like glasses just looked like a small piece of hair
In the famous movie Disney Cinderella we can see Cinderella’s disappearing sleeves when we can see Cinderella with her prince entering his carousel we see her waving but we do not see the prince next to her and we see the prince next to her kissing
The prince is in the carriage with her. He's just not waving. His chest is visible, as she's waving. His head is covered by the curtains.
I always assumed that her waving and us not seeing the prince was because she was waving out of that side of the window and the prince himself was waving the other side. I never thought of it as a mistake honestly.
Maybe the scene with Cinderella and the prince kissing was a recycled scene from another movie and was placed in Cinderella, but forgot to fix it. They did that with movies like Snow White, Robin Hood, The Jungle Book, and The Aristocats.
one other thing about Beast's picture, how is it an adult portrait when he was cursed as a kid? lol
9:47 Emily, That was funny
Never thought about that about buzz freezing when Andy comes! That is a great point though!
I swear this is the only entertainment for me all day. Being stuck in my college dorm room alone all day this is all I have to do. Not that I’m complaining, I’m just saying.
2:39 maybe Vanellope glitched a new tooth in its place
Also to me, the glasses frame on Riley's mom looked more like just a slightly straying lock of hair than it looked like glasses
Judy wearing the wrong shirt is due to a deleted scene yet they kept that one snippet in
What was wrong with the shirt
What was the wrong shirt anyways?
It changes from the uniform to the shirt and back to the uniform again.
@@TheStOne1 They don't really show that, just her face up close to the microwave, that you can't see her clothes.
Thank you for pointing out that Mike and Sully did NOT meet in university. The writers should have changed the story context to show how they grew apart by the time they got to university … something that often happens when one is a jock and the other is a wimp.
Who cares if Disney makes mistakes?
We all love it! 😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️
I remember another mistake in Cinderella, it was very settle. When Cinderella’s step mom twirled the beaded necklace around Cinderella’s neck, her hand phased through the necklace so her palm could face in an upright motion to display it.
There’s another one from Frozen that was missed. When Anna gives Kristoff a new sledge he picks her up and swings her round. For a split second this thumb goes through her ribs
I loved Frozen and the fact that Elsa's hair went through her shoulder damn right beautiful
#18 batteries and electric vehicles can explode and create a fire, too, so saying that the electric bike exploding is a mistake is actually a mistake on MsMojo's part.
Surprised you didn't list the mistake in Pinocchio. During the scene where Pinocchio sets his finger on fire, Gepetto runs frantically with him to find water to put his finger out. During the intercut action of Gepetto's panic, his night cap appears on him, the disappears, the appears again, then disappears. Once you see it, you can't "unsee" it.
In beauty and the beast - the petals of the rose starts falling since the beast was cursed. After how many years, Belle appeared to their lives and the rose is still with so many petals. As the story goes, the petals just kept falling very fast until it has no petals no more in the near end of the movie. Hmmm
A lot of Frozen entries on this list. Since I didn't watch the movie (didn't care for it) I had to skip through those pts along with Zootopia and Inside Out too. The one with Monsters inc, I noticed right away but left it alone since I knew they did it for plot/story conveniences. The rest of these I never noticed until seeing this lol.
I'm surprised Phoebus from Hunchback wasn't even an honorable mention. When Frollo's archer shoots him in the back and falls into the water, Phoebus is in full armor. And yet, when Esmeralda dives in to save him and pulls him to the surface, he's suddenly just in a plain white shirt.
I’m disappointed that Ariel isn’t in here. She can clearly write in perfect English (she signs the contract) and yet she never once attempts to write Eric a letter. That is a massive plot hole to me
Here's another. "Is the Word 'Festival' Some Kind of Magic Teleportation Word?" (Hunchback of Notre Dame)
During the first lunch scene when Frollo and Quasimodo are reviewing the alphabet, when Quasimodo says the word "festival," Frollo's goblet is seen on the table. But just a moment ago it was in his hand and he was taking a sip from it. Now before you all say, "He could've put it down really quickly," the goblet reappears in his hand when he chokes on his wine and spits it out.
I actually like the sleeveless wedding look for Cinderella.
I don’t see Elsa’s hair going through her shoulder, even when you show it slowly. It clearly bends and grazes over her shoulder the way it naturally would if a girl pulled her braid over her shoulder from behind without lifting it. There would be no space between the braid and the shoulder, which is how they showed it in the movie. And you forgot in The Little Mermaid when Ariel first arrived on the ship to stop the wedding and she is wearing no shoes, but then in the next shot she has shoes
Also forgot the fact right after that when Ursula grabs her and jumps in the ocean, she is wearing the blue outfit she was as a human, but as soon as they get under the sea, she isn't wearing the clothes anymore. Doubt Ursula would have given her time to strip lol
Oh it most definitely does go through her arm
Maybe when cinderella was in the coach her fairy godmother transformed her back to her dream dress? And we just missed it lol. because she had her dreams come true with a happy ever after?! 🥰❤
#12 The prince had more than one portrait of himself in the castle.
Also when stepmother shuts the door on Cinders it looks like the Rose case from beauty and the beast on the cupboard behind her
To be fair... Cinderella got like three wedding dresses in total through those movies, so sleeves or naw, she doesn't have just ONE wedding dress anyway x'D
I haven’t noticed that the slashes change direction on The Prince’s portrait in Beauty and The Beast (1991)! Th as ok you for pointing that out! And, I’d like to point out a mistake of my own. When Lumiere and The Coat Rack are getting The Beast ready for the dance with Belle, The Coat Rack didn’t give The Beast much of a haircut. He should’ve given The Beast a full body haircut! Not just a snip, snip here and there. I think The Beast would’ve looked very handsome with a full body haircut! And, The Coat Rack should’ve also trimmed The Beast’s beard, too! The Beast would have looked incredibly handsome had The Coat Rack given The Beast a haircut and beard trim!
In inside out, I never thought that line was glasses, but a misplaced piece of stay hair. She did just give birth after all.
I noticed another mistake in beauty and the beast and this one actualy happens alot in the movie, the blond triplets literaly switch hairstyles ALOT, watch the whole movie and pay close attention to their hairstyles in every scene they are, you wont unsee it then
But like... what about beauty and the beast where it says when the spell was cast the Prince was 11 years old (read it in a book about it) yet the picture he ripped was of him in his 20s....and when Belle breaks the spell 10 Years later he is like....21...but was never shown as an actual Kid to begin with. And if he was....where the Heck are his parents??
Mistake or not, Deanvor did say they found them in hiding. The other heroes in the first movie were killed off by bad incidents and Syndrome’s evil robots
In #15, Hans could've possibly brought his sword with him but left it on the ice offscreen so as not to spook Elsa into attacking him again & pulled it when she was looking away from him.
I just figured Boo’s laugh didn’t affect the power plant because it’s protected from random surges whereas their apartment was not... idk I’m no electrician 😂
Regarding Boo, I can believe her laughs would cause the lights in the bathroom to go haywire. However with the scream extractor I would think is in a well-insulated room, its whole purpose is to extract screams. It wouldn't do a lot of good if in a room made to extract screams the lights started going crazy everytime.
#13 isn't much of an error. Buzz is trying to adapt to how the "unknown universe"'s inhabitants go. So if he sees the toys freeze, he'll follow their example even if he doesn't get why.
If you really want to see the most obvious blooper, watch Fantasia during the Pastoral Symphony segment with the pegasus foals jumping into the water.
A good animation mess up that I noticed and I am sure others have noticed is that Prince John has no mane but he is a Male lion, although when a male lion lacks testosterone it loses strength and the mane so maybe that's why but that is just something I noticed when I first saw the movie.
In #10 for the Beauty and the Beast scratch, he could've scratched it more than once, considering that it could have been a while ago.
The inside out glasses mistake is not actually a mistake. That is to show how memories can change and be altered by time. How like in a memory you can remember things a certain way but then all of a sudden you remember them a different way. Which is exactly that scenario because it's so far back that white would you even be able to remember seeing your parents for the first time? So the scene is to represent although she does remember it it's still very foggy and there are parts that she doesn't quite remember exact. The shot over the shoulders to show us what the scene was actually like from a different point of view but then when we see Riley's point of view it shows us that she doesn't realize because she can't remember that her mom wore glasses.
I'm probably overthinking this but surely Olaf appearing on top of Kristoff is easily explainable by the fact that as he (Kristoff) is made of heavy bone and sinew he will of course be heavier than Olaf, a SNOWMAN.
Also, unless you have an excellent memory (/ watched the movie so many times when you were younger and could quote the whole thing verbatim) or recently saw it you probably wouldn't remember the Monsters inc quip anyway as there was just over a decade (12 years to be exact) between that premiering and Monsters University coming out
Also in Cinderella, the step mother and Anastasia's bedroom has been switched in the last part of the movie.
About Buzz not moving, it is probably because he is made of plastic and less wiggly materials
I knew that thumbnail takes number 1 on their list!
For the Zootopia one I am so confused I’ve been watching the scene for like three minutes and I don’t understand what they mean by “Judy is wearing the wrong shirt” everything looks normal
It should be black
You missed the disappearing bag in Gastons first scene in Beauty and the Beast.
In hula, there's ipus and drums, so its not uncommon to see those ipus and drums while dancing
Yes but when did he have time to go get it
@@jimbo9208 usually there's like 3-4 drummers when dancing, so he couldʻve been behind the curtain or holding the kumu hulas drum which isn't uncommon either
Eh, it doesn’t matter, Disney is the best thing that has happen.
It especially doesn't matter if it's in the background/it's too quick
hahahahahahahaha no. They tried to trademark day of the dead and are now trying to trademark the name Loki. I'll pass
When I watched cinderalla, I full on started screaming when the mice were being chased
This wasn’t on the list... After baby Moana saves the baby turtle and ocean moves aside so she can pick up shells, a fish is flopping around and disturbing the sand. They cut to Moana then back to the shell and the sand is smooth and not disturbed. (At approximately 6:01 and 6:04 In The Movie) For me, it’s one of those, ‘once you see it, you can’t unsee it’ things. 🌊🐟
At the end of Oliver & Company, there is a subway train on the Brooklyn Bridge that hits and kills the antagonist of the movie Sykes, spewing him down into the East river. The movie takes place in the 1980's. Subway trains on the Brooklyn Bridge have not been supported since the 1950's.
Another plot hole in the first Toy Story:
Sid goes to sleep around 8:25 and his alarm goes off at 7 AM. Why did Woody and Buzz wait over 10 hours to try to escape?
You 100% missed the one raccoon baby miraculously missing in Bambi(original) and Simba's miraculously closing at the end of the The Lion King. The racoon one you can't miss, especially since the momma racoon just starts liking the ground where the baby was 😅
Favorite Iconic Toy Story quote: YOU!! ARE!! A!! TOOOOOOOYYYY.....!!!!
Toy Story 2. How many times have you seen your reflection on a moving tv screen? Side note: Whenever I look for rainbows, I can see them more clearly behind dark clouds than white ones or blue skys.
Juat a theory, but the scream extractor would've gone haywire from Boo's screaming too, so they maybe they had some precautions in place to prevent that from happening. 🤷♀️
Also, I think that her giggle in the restroom wasn't quite enough to do anything to the lights
very very great fun list I like it a lot great job mis mojo one of my very favorite list ever
I don't think there were eve glasses in the Inside Out one. I think it was a strange of hairs and when you see the different perspective, there is a strange of hair further forward than the rest of the hair, which would have been the same strand.
#14 Those screams and giggles don't last long enough to effect the power.
#13 Buzz mentions being accepted into the toys' culture, so it was probably a "When in Rome" thing.
There’s a lot of something being there and then magically disappearing or being in a different position. Or something not being there and then appearing when needed
That’s something I’ve noticed multiple times in Disney movies
The portrait frames are different so it is clearly a different one. The beast can have more than one portrait.
During Kiss the Girl Ariel’s hair changes. Her hair is down but in the shadow on the water it’s in a ponytail
