We made a video on different types of sexualities (ruclips.net/video/SEurlKy2bN0/видео.html). We noticed a lot of you requested to make a video on bisexual. Here it is! Share this video to someone who might want to learn more about it
You forgot to mention one thing: Male bisexuality, if a guy comes out as bisexual, people will assume they are saying that as an excuse to say they are gay, which is wrong
I actually had a lesbian friend who thought bisexuals didn’t exist. And when I came out to her as bisexual, she was confused. She wasn’t against bisexuality, she just thought bisexuals didn’t exist or that they were confused on which gender they like. I didn’t leave her, because she just wanted to know what it was like to be bisexual.
What gets confused too is that being bi doesn’t mean you’re attracted 50% to girls and 50% to guys but there are time where you’re more attracted to one gender over the other.
My brother recently came out as Bi so i want to help understand, i come from a family who aren't really excepting of bisexuality but we still love him no matter what l, i came here to help understand and encourage him to be himself more.
@@HelloHello-kq8hg relationship status has little to do with actual sexual orientation. I mean it basically just says what type of partner you would be interested in, not that you have one. For instance, my girlfriend and myself are actually both bisexual but just because we are in said relationship, that doesn’t mean we aren’t still bisexual. We aren’t suddenly lesbian just because we are committed to each other. It just means she is my partner and I am hers. I’m still, regardless of my relationship status a genderfluid demi bisexual person and she is still a female bisexual herself. These identities don’t just change on a whim or due to context. They are the heart of the individual (aware at the time or not). I hope that clarified? Do let me know if there is still some confusion
SUMMARY: 1. Attraction to more than one gender- 0:31 2. Coming out is a challenge- 0:55 3. Being seen as untrustworthy- 1:26 4. Prone to poor health outcomes- 1:59 5. It is NOT short-term~ 2:27 6. There is NO confusion- 2:57 Enjoy and let's appreciate Psych2go's hard work and cute drawings:)
Being bisexual doesn't mean you can't have a preference. You're valid of you have more attraction to one gender more than the other. Please be mindful that there isn't a set percentage also!!!
I’m bisexual and I’m 80/20, personally I’ve never been called invalid because of my preference but I know a lot of people have been. Thanks for acknowledging this♥︎
So true, my gf and I are both bi but love each other very much anyway. Well even have conversations about guys or girls who look either pretty or hot, and still be the most attracted to eachother.
Unless you want to live a lie and eventually it will catch up on you.You need to be honest in a relationship. You cannot defeat your sexuality in the long run.
@The Emo Enby Thembo My mom isn't bad just ignorant. She was under the impression that bisexuals were gay people in denial. My sister had to sit her down and explain what she was and how yes she is indeed attracted to both genders.
Before I realized that I was lesbian, I came out as bisexual and my parents questioned me severely. They asked me if I get the same feeling towards girls as I do boys and I said “no”. They told me it was just a phase, or “puberty”, even though I already went through puberty. Every time I would bring the topic up, or I would just talk about my love life, they would always explain on how I’ll “never find love as good as a boy”, or “boys are more reliable and it’s more natural”. My parents force me to go to church everyday and they like to “pray for me to be straight”. I 100% understand the struggles and I would like to say that even if they don’t support you, or they are rude towards you, doesn’t mean that you deserve it. You are wonderful and special and if they think that you aren’t then, that’s their problem. Be proud 💖💜💙! Have an amazing day/night!
Another thing about bisexuality is that it's not always 50-50. In fact, many bisexuals have a preference. I'm a bisexual male who has a preference for guys.
I love how you decided to recognize this community! I appreciate it, because you truly depicted how I felt and how other people view us! Thank you for the recognition!
I feel like people who are bi can all say this at least once in their life: “I like everyone and yet I’m still single” Don’t worry, whether you’re bi, pan, lesbian, gay, or straight, you’ll find the one someday ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💖
* laughs in aro-ace , sapio aro-ace , and alterous * And just fun fact I'm a girl on a family member's account who's cisgender so yeah. Btw I use she/her but I respect people of any and all pronouns including the basics and nounself pronouns.
Thank you for explaining that bisexuality isn’t just liking men and women. I used to be out as bisexual and it annoyed me when people said I was pan cause I liked NB aswell
@Wert poly sexuality means that you like multiple genders. Whereas with bisexuality, it means liking two OR more genders so they aren’t subject to liking multiple
Person: are you gay? Bi person: *well yes, but actually no.* Edit: woah this blew up... tysm :O Edit edit: ok ok i know the accurate answer is no, because bi means bi. It was just a joke, no need to get all serious with the joke here :(
I'm bisexual as i'm drawn to both genders. I did tell my parents and they took it quite well. I've had depression, but i'm no longer there though. I've experienced hate and i'm still bisexual. I don't mind being in a relationship with other men or women. I'm simply being myself, despite all the hate i get
I have a couple friends who are bi, and it really doesn’t make you a different person. Like at all. Sometimes they will be in a normal relationship with a guy, and sometimes with a girl. They have never cheated on anything or all of that
As a bisexual male, for the longest time I was confused and angry at myself for wanting a male partner because I knew I had crushes on girls when I was a little kid. I'm 33 and I grew up in a heavily homophobic environment, so I was scared about possibly being "gay." I've since accepted myself for being attracted to both men and women, but it's easier these days because the world is (or at least feels) more accepting of LGBTQ+ people.
I'm very much glad you've had the opportunity to figure this out. I'm coming to terms with my own identity lately and reading your comment is reinforcing your last point, that it seems the world is becoming more accepting of LGBTQ+ people. I know there isn't much acceptance in some places, but you've helped give me some confidence. I don't know you, but thank you all the same
I'm there with ya! I'm 22. I had crushes on men as well and had a desire for men. I was always angry for a reason and myself for allowing my anger get the best of me. Than I came to know now that sex orientation is your desires and who you feel emotionally attracted to. I'm a Bi+ which means to me I consider myself bi-gay. I would kiss a girl, But Have to desire to be with one or date one! Good luck to you Man!🙂
Same, I always had crushes for males growing up and I didn't know I was bisexual till I questioned myself and discovered that I was indeed bisexual. Many members of my family are homophobic, so I didn't want this to be a possibility
Same! I grew up with alot of Girls in my side. I love them,I mean - I act as their protector and I am gentle to all women and even though I love them,I hide my feelings to my crush.. Until,Social Media entice my feeling. When Puberty hits me,I suddenly think of many many weird manly image and attractions. Don't get me wrong - Being Male Bi is sooo sinful and soo soo soooo hard! There were times when I think of a fairytale where I have wife and two lovely son and daughter.. but there are times when I think sexually about mens. And that sucks. I miss my old, younger self. I am still attracted to many women.. but My Mind plays off sexual fake attractions to Man.
As a Bisexual person i hate when someone asks: "Do yo like more girls or boys?" HOLY SHOOT I HAVEN'T BEEN HERE FOR RLY LONG HOW DID I GET SO MANY LIKES
I’m Bi as well and it seems we are pretty split on this. I saw a poll where it was 60/40 in favor of the question being fine. I think it depends on context and who is asking.
I'm bisexual too, but that question doesn't annoys me. Personally I have a preference for women, but I really like men too. I think every person is different, even in this type of thing, for example I don't hate femenine guys, but I don't feel atracted to them. I think many little changes like that make even a general sexual orientation be diverse.
@@danielmunoz1275 honestly I mostly get attracted to girls but I also get attracted boys especially femenine boys Ya I have had many attractions towards masculine men also
This made me smile. I'm bisexual myself, and I have some people around me who doesn't understand bisexuality. They either think it's fake or insult me for looking at both genders (male and female). I hope that this video could help them understand it better. 💝💜💙
I never ever meet someone like you . All of my friends normal 🙄 What should i do if one day i find out one of my friend just like you ? Dont be sad i just want to know ? I wondering if thats happend . 🤔
Also there are other mocks being like “you are straight but u want to be part of the LGBT” “You are a cheater” “Eww u do thre3somes?!” “Wanna do a 3 thing?” “So everything is fine to you?”
@@SaraGirl-fg5wv why do you want put "-sexual" after "Bi"? There is nothing sexual in partner preference. I have temptation to moke Bi-girls because they claim that "-sexual-" words. I'm sceptical about all sexuality concepts incl. Bi.
I Came out with myself and some people i know as bisexual between last year and this year, and it can be really frustrating the stereotipes that some people have about it, amazing video💖💜💙
I’m still having problems finding out my sexuality (if I’m heterosexual or bisexual), so having his type of videos really helps me out. Thank you Psych2Go
You're very welcome! We also made a video on different types of sexualities (linked in the description and pinned comment). Feel free to give it a watch too! - 💕 Cindy
Thank you for letting people know about this it can be very confusing when people hear when someone comes out as bisexual or bi and this video is a better understanding thank you. :)
also, gender doesn't equal pronouns, for example you could be agender and still use she/her or he/him. they/them is also used and is a gender neutral option that anyone can use. there are also neopronouns, some common ones are it/its, xe/xem, ze/zem, ze/zyr, and fae/faer. neopronouns are used kn the same way as she/her, he/him, or they/them.
these videos are perfect... the bi color scheme, the cute people, the narrator's voice... I love it all. thank you guys so much for making this page. 💖💜💙🥺
My mom thought it meant that I was constantly thinking about having sex with women and that it was a distraction from school. But not guys? I-? My grades were fine? She said “You need to focus on school and not dating” like wtf just bc Ive thought about this and know my romantic/sexual orientation doesn’t mean I’m constantly trying to date. Ive NEVER been the type to seek out romantic partners.
I am 41 and just came out to my wife after 20 years of marriage. She had come out to me 6 years ago and I accepted/celebrated her living her truth. I know first hand how bisexual men are not as accepted as bisexual women. My wife was kind and accepting with her words but not celebrating my courage as much I did for her. She is still struggling with understanding how to navigate her feelings as she does not find two men engaged in sex as attractive. I have struggled with depression and not liking myself with huge fears of rejection. This is still a work in progress and I hope I can find support as our lives have been built in a very hetero-normative lifestyle. Thanks for this video.
I don't want to have children at all and luckily for me, my parents and grandparents don't really care if I choose to have kids or not lol. But if I did want children, I would adopt instead of reproduce because the idea of pregnancy is scary to me 😬
i mean i rather not get pregnant i could literally die form that and it would be PAINFULL so yeah- tho my parents want me to get married and oh boy! im gonna break the news to them that I'm never getting married it's gonna be awful and i will feel like i betrayed my parents my whole life fun times 😌💅✨
One thing people often get confused on when they talk to me (I'm openly bi, and it's kinda obvious😅) is preferences. I'm more often attracted to men, but the attraction I feel towards women is deeper, more meaningful. People like to take this as "Well, if you're more often attracted to men then you're straight". Yeah, no. I like both. Please accept that and don't try to categorize me as something I'm not. I'm just me
Ugh I totally feel this. My parents are just like: “well if you like guys then why would it be so hard to only pay attention to those feelings? I think eventually if you do that you won’t feel so much attraction towards girls.” And I’m just sitting over here in the corner like: -_-
@@keirabowman4953 My dad's actually okay with it. So is my sister. It's just a couple of my "friends" that feel like I can "fix" myself. Can't wait to go to college and never have to see them again
I totally feel you on this. I have a more deeper like attraction towards women myself (might be cause i'm one) but I find it so much easier to develop crushes on guys. I easily can find myself more attracted to men but I am way more inclined to date a woman.
@@eleven-hopper I imagine myself with men more often because it's what's expected of me, but when I do find a girl that I like, it stays with me for a long time and messes with my entire world because it actually means something and is more that surface-deep
I am bisexual and I’m gonna share my experiences here :) I started thinking about sexuality around the age of 9 I think. I first thought I was always heterosexual until I really started to question it. It can be a bit hard to actually find out what you are (at least it was a bit for me..). I thought about it for a while and came to the conclusion that I’d have no problem dating a woman or a man. First of all….You don’t need experience! I once had a conversation that went kinda like this, my friends and I were talking about sexuality’s and I mentioned that I’m bi. One of them asked if I had already dated a girl/boy. I said no and then they replied to me that I can’t know my sexuality yet if I didn’t have any experience. Of course experience can be a good way to find out your sexuality but it’s different from person to Person. Coming out was also never a problem for me. My friends and my family don’t really care about a persons sexuality. We were at dinner and I suddenly just said that I’m bi and my mom just replied with „cool, ok.“ and that’s it. Im sorry If it isn’t as easy for you. Always take your time with it!
I really don't understand why even homosexuals don't treat bisexuals equally after all they were also bullied by heterosexuals and why are they wanting to make them suffer more like that.
homosexuals are the most inherently like heteros as they too only like one gender so they still have the same misconsemptions butyea it is still stupid
woooo calm down guys don’t put all the homosexuals in the same boat I’m lesbian and my girlfriend is bisexual All you need is trust and some homosexuals are scared that their partners would leave them for the opposite sex or some problems but overall it always comes to a person’s trust issues I trust my girlfriend more than anyone in this world and being bisexual or lesbian/gay/pan/name it, it doesn’t matter. When you love someone, you love that person only and it’s all that matters Well to me that’s my point of view
@@thesuperkplesbofanhithere3118 having trust issues shouldn’t be an excuse to be blatantly biphobic, though and, in itself, the assumption that bisexuals will leave you for the opposite sex due to their attraction to both genders is once again inherently biphobic and adds on to the stereotype that bi people are cheaters, yknow? it’s fine to be a little on edge about it, but assuming and or fearing that a bisexual will cheat on you and leave you for the opposite sex (or same sex) isnt the best assumption at all and contributes to the mass biphobia found in homosexuals also, please don’t think that we're saying all homosexuals are biphobic and that we’re putting them in the same boat, because we’re not-; it’s just a lot easier to say ‘homosexual’ than ‘a minority of homosexuals’ or ‘some homosexuals’ because im sure anyone with common sense would understand that we clearly don’t mean all homosexuals lol
@@Atlas-bd9jh i know that it’s not an excuse 😂 jeez I was just thinking about reasons why they would not accept bisexuals or even recognize them, I have no idea why besides the fact that they would be scared to be cheated on or something. And i’m just saying that for SOME people, it can be the trust issues Like seriously I just don get it and it’s messed up because then the message “love is love” don’t make sense no more and sure common sense I wasn’t putting all of the bisexuals in the boat too just so you know lol this was just a thought because the main comment felt like it was all of them when you read it you know? and then some people could actually believe that so I JUST WANTED TO CLARIFY 😭 anyways sorry if it wasn’t clear enough have a great day
@@soywho9837 there is no difference. Pansexuals like anyone regardless of gender. And bis like both men and women. So even if a person is fluid or agender. They still have traits from both genders that attract bis.
This made my heart very happy. I felt the comfort and positive affirmations you guys were giving all of us bi beans out here. Thank you, for making me feel valid!🏳️🌈
The most annoying thing for me is when people say that I used to be gay because I was in a relationship with a girl and now I’m with a boy. NO, I was bisexual then and I am now.
@Goose Milk Also my excuse to get pride stuff during June is I just like rainbows (which is true) and the bi colours have been my favourites for years even before I realized I was bi.
I completely support bisexuality even if im straight, although there was this bisexual girl Who was obsessed with me and i felt unconfortable so i told her to please stop because i didnt like her as more as a friend. Then she started bullying evey one of my other friends saying theyll take me away from her! I kept telling her its enough but she didnt listen untill i cut all contact with her and stopped talking and meeting with her. Now i really need to make a strong bond with a person in order to know do they deserve to be my friend.. 💔
I had a friend who had a similar issue. The girl used to hug my friend whenever she pleases and my friend finally put her foot down on the issue. The girl got made when she found out I was bisexual too but was still allowed to hug my friend. I actually got asked about it. Told her it’s “because I don’t sexualize it or her.” My friend had also been my friend for over 7 years at that point. Hugs were very normalized platonic affection for us at that point, especially given she was the friend I was allowed to still have sleepovers with in high school. So yeah the stalker girl did eventually leave my friend alone. But that’s more because my friend got a promotion and it looks bad if one of their old coworkers is being too touchy after being told to stop. It makes a difference....and I might have scared her off for a while before that.
I'm sorry that happened. Sometimes some bi people get desperate for love and they go overboard. I hope she finds someone who'd love her back and I hope you find peace in your love life too.
Unfortunately, it doesn't matter if you are gay, straight, bi, trans, etc... There are some very toxic individuals in all groups. Just remember, that individual was wrong for what she did, but not all bisexuals behave this way.
I'm a proud pansexual, but it's pretty hard because what it means is that you like someone for their personality, meaning you end up liking your friends a lot. It hurts when they don't like you back really bad, and it basically ruins the friendship.
I JUST TOLD MY CRUSH THAT I LIKE HER. But she said she is not looking for a relationship but that doesn’t matter bc I let it out. I want to thank you guys for encouraging me to do this right. 👌👌
I feel like if you aren’t sure what you are attracted to yet, bi, bi+ or pan is pretty safe because it’s very vague I guess so not totally one way or another, which is totally fine but if you don’t want to come out as gay or lesbian etc, right away it’s a good option.
I feel welcome here I’m Christian/catholic but my sexually is bisexual I want to tell my parents but I know that they won’t support me. I told no one about this One Time I told my friend and she hated me I want somewhere/someone with supports me/feel welcomed And it is here Thxs for making us feel welcomed Edit: thank you for making me welcome
@@wwexstans8183 The Bible describes an relationship as a man and a woman so technically a man loving a man or a woman loving a woman and another sexuality isn't a relationship therefore not a sin
I'm from Christian family too and my brother is really into Bible etc. he really loves God. I think i'm bisexuál but even if i'm not i still support EVERYONE who is not toxic or who is normal in the lgbtq+ comunity. He says that he doesn't care but i'm still so scared that one day he or someone in my family will leave mě because of my sexuality
@@rad5334 pansexuality is attraction regardless of gender. Bi usually includes all genders but you can have a preference (or not) and probably care about gender. It's a bit complicated, especially since the definition of the sexualities mentioned can depend on the person, but that's the gist of it😭
I’m a hetero guy, so this is quite interesting to me. I think it’s strange that there’s prejudice around bisexuals, since people’s preferences should be obvious enough to not be confusing, name-wise. Since I’m also from a religious family, I understand the reason many are against the lgbt+ community, but I also noticed some people are far too harsh in their treatment to lgbt+s and end up being extremely rude. I wish everyone could respect each other, but I can tell that won’t happen. Also I don’t like the phrase “your truth”, because it’s illogical, and by definition, truth isn’t personal, it’s factual. Anyway, have a nice day, and I hope we can all have a better understanding of each other, especially in these times
Yea it can be like this- Man and woman Woman and other genders Man and other genders Or all three! Im sick and tired of people saying false definitions
I don't come out to my family becuase they are all Conservatives. My friends and myself are all Communists and are 100% okay with LGBTQ but I haven't came out to them becuase it isn't really information they need to know right now. I'd tell the person I was dating immediately but other then that it's only really online I talk openly about being Bi. Not depressed at all also.
@@helltubejackie1086 Some bisexuals identify as bisexual and are attracted to people the way pansexuals are; sexuality is a spectrum, and no one should tell someone else what they are, everyone is valid x
. Sure the typical definition of bi means two, so bisexual= two genders but when talking about sexuality it’s a lot less constricting then that. I identify as bi because I’m attracted to dicks and buthy’.... not necessarily girls and guys. I’ve been attracted to both guys, girls and people who identify as other. I choose to identify as bi because I personally do not feel comfortable with the label “pansexual”.
I have a boyfriend and I was very scared to tell him that I was bi.... but thank god he accepted me... I love him so much! I hope you are as lucky as I am with your partner/friends/family!
Me: *casually tells mom I’m bisexual* Mom: But you don’t know that yet. Also me,who officially labelled herself as bisexual for almost 3 and a half years already: *slowly dies inside* My mom is still pretty chill though. She didn’t yell or shout at me for being Bi,but she’s unaware of how much that stung me in the soul when she said that.Nevertheless,I won’t let that affect me or my decision of becoming Bi. Bisexual Squad, unite 💙💜💗🎉💐✨👏💅🏻👑
“You’re still young, you don’t know that yet.” She said. Well then how do I know what a crush is at all? You never told me I was too young to know when I liked a boy. Am I too young or not?
When I was young, I used to say my favourite colours were blue, purple and pink, how ironic that they're the colours of the bisexual flag and I'm bisexual. Well I'm going to come out to my parents now, wish me luck everybody 💖💜💙
Just in the nick of time as I almost had a panic attack about my girlfriend being bi. She came out months ago but it finally caught up to me when she said she had a "girl crush" and I thought it meant ACTUAL crush. That crushed me and my head loves to make me O V ER T H I N K
I’m starting to realize I’m bisexual but I don’t want to tell my parents because I know they’ll just tell me it’s a phase and “all girls feel some level of attraction to other girls, it’s just a part of being curious, you know you’re straight, stop trying to pretend you’re different just so you can fit in with your lesbian friends and get attention”. But I love being around gay people, “feminine” men attract me much more than the bulky stereotypically “masculine” men who actually intimidate me and freak me out a bit, and I can picture myself with both guys and girls. The difficulty is that my mind tries to make me lean more towards men bc I’ve been told my whole life about eventually getting a boyfriend, husband etc, so I’ve been imagining that all my life and didn’t think much of girls until recently, and I also have always pictured myself with my own birthed children, which wouldn’t exactly be possible if I were to marry a girl. But girls are so much more attractive and gentle, and guys freak me out a lot. Ugh, maybe I’m overthinking this. I’m just so confused and anxious about the future, I don’t know who I’m going to end up with. I half wish this was just a phase, it would make things much simpler, I wouldn’t need to think about who I’m attracted to bc there would only be one answer, guys, and that would solve the problem for children and people wouldn’t judge me. But I can’t stop my thoughts of girls as well as guys.
Y'know what, I've decided that this year during pride month I'm going to try to teach my Dad more about different sexualities and genders and to respect them. He tries to be supportive but he doesn't understand and that makes him quite disrespectful. Often watching tv he is grossed out by anything lgbtq+ and when I asked him if he knew what asexuality he thought it was being in love with yourself (he means like interested in yourself as a romantic partner not self love) so I want to teach him to understand (that'll make coming out to him a whole lot easier). I encourage others to do the same for their family or friends, teach them what they need to know so that they can be more accepting of the people around them! But only if you know the person may be willing to learn!
I have just noticed recently that I have not only crushes on girls (I'm a boy) but on boys too, I'm nearly 13, I just told my friends and they are pretty supportive, this video helped a lot thanks!
I’m Bi (as my pfp shows) and I am very grateful for this video. I have not experienced verbal distaste for Bi people directly but I’ve heard about it. I feel like this video is very important for speeding awareness so thank you for making it 💙💜❤️
If you’ve came out to your parents or anyone close to you, I’m proud of you. No matter your gender or sexuality. I came out back in September for being pan and non binary (more on the masculine side.). Got told if I ever kissed a girl I would be grounded and got told that I’m a girl and that’s it. My father said it’s traumatizing for him. It sucks when you’re told you’re not allowed to be who you are cos of religion and god. Hopefully this isn’t look like me looking for pity cos it’s not. I have a bunch of wonderful friends in my life and one teacher who respects my pronouns and uses them :))
The fact that i saw this video in my recommendation many times after i told some guy he looks bisexual to me and then he told me he likes me it's just Iconic
When people ask me what it feels to be bisexual I always tell them: "It feels like shit. I have double chances to find a partner and I'm still single. Im double virgin. I'm so virgin I could give birth to Jesus. :("
@@tanostrelok2323 Yeah, I've been more focused on things like my hobbies and studies, but can't help but feel jealous when I see people being happy with their partners
@@Kafka_Garezerra Worked for me, when you can be happy for yourself and become confident of your own achievements, you will eventually find someone interesting enough that will also be into you, worry not. Relationships are not a solution to unhappiness, but a compliment to your own, good luck out there.
Throught high school I knew there was something different about me that I wasn't being very accepting towards myself. couple months ago I finally accepted myself as bisexual and after accepting myself, I felt more and more happy knowing who I am. I have had issues like being lonesome a lot, being neglected a lot, having anxiety, not being mentally stable ect.. but that just happened when I started high school. As a child, I used to not care about what people think, I used to be very hyper during primary/elementary school. During high school, I became more and more quiet and lonesome, there were a couple times I actually tried to make friends and fit in but people just rejected me as joining their friend groups because they thought I was weird. I actually really wanted to be home schooled but my mum wouldn't let me. I haven't really told anyone I'm bi, my mum kind of knows but she just tries to forget the situation. I can't really tell any of my family members because they are religious and some members are really strict.
I've known that I'm bi since I was ten. Well, I haven't quite had a word for it, I just knew I was attracted to boys and girls and used to be confused when people always were attracted to one gender, leading to me thinking I was abnormal and keeping my mouth shut. Now that I am 15 and am fully aware of the lgbtq community I know that I AM normal and that there is a term for my attraction. Tho I still can't bring myself to come out to my grandparents. My parents know, but I somehow can't convince myself on telling my grandparents, because I know that as soon as I would tell them and then get into a relationship with a boy, they would assume I was straight and I'm really scared of not being accepted
Thank ok so much for this video! It really helped me stop thinking I was confused and let me see that I truly am bisexual myself. This video is great and thank you for inspiring me to push myself out my comfort zone and maybe soon come out the closet.
Also: when a bisexual person is in a relationship with a person identifying as the opposite gender THEY ARE NOT HETEROSEXUAL I always get confused when people assume that you magically become heterosexual just because e.g. you as a cis woman date a cis dude 😂 Like yeah that's what bisexuals do
I had a similar vein of commentary from an ex boyfriend. I started dating my girlfriend at the time and decided to let him know since our break up was actually amicable and we were decent friends. He said “so you’re lesbian now” and I know he was joking. He tended to joke a lot and I’m much more blunt and deadpan so I just told him “nope, still bi. I’m just dating her now.” He apologized when he realized his joke was in bad taste and congratulated me so it ends well this conversation. He long knew I was bi though. We’d had that conversation before we dated as it is a deal breaker for me if someone can’t accept that. I don’t bend my identity or conform it for others sensibilities. If someone asks, I’ll out myself. Being that I’m very female presenting (genderfluid here but born female) I often get that question of “are you married/dating” and “do you have kids yet” and I’ll just up and say “no” to married “yes” to dating, and “it’s not possible to have kids accidentally in my relationship” for that last question. When asked to clarify I mention I have a girlfriend and we have been dating (to date) for 9 years. So yeah, I’m constantly outing myself! To my knowledge I’ve never faced issues with it. I did one time pass a customer off (politely) to a coworker (made it out that the coworker would be of more experienced assistance than I) so I didn’t have to deal with the customer’s ranting about negative stuff regarding lgbtq+. I was very mad in the back room but managed to calmly continue to help others once I had my small internal screaming rant. The stuff said was...very anger inducing.

Try to educate her. Maybe then she will accept it. If she doesn’t, then she failed you, not the other way around. In the end, don’t worry about what other people think
@@kpv7438 The best I can explain it, is that uhm let's say I have a crush on a girl. And we eventually start dating. I'd have to hide it because my parents are homophobic. Which sucks because I don't want to lie to them.

I am bisexual and I’m gonna share my experiences here :)
I started thinking about sexuality around the age of 9 I think.

I really don't understand why even homosexuals don't treat bisexuals equally after all they were also bullied by heterosexuals and why are they wanting to make them suffer more like that.
homosexuals are the most inherently like heteros as they too only like one gender so they still have the same misconsemptions butyea it is still stupid
woooo calm down guys
don’t put all the homosexuals in the same boat
I’m lesbian and my girlfriend is bisexual
All you need is trust and some homosexuals are scared that their partners would leave them for the opposite sex or some problems but overall it always comes to a person’s trust issues
I trust my girlfriend more than anyone in this world and being bisexual or lesbian/gay/pan/name it, it doesn’t matter.
When you love someone, you love that person only and it’s all that matters
Well to me
that’s my point of view
@@thesuperkplesbofanhithere3118 having trust issues shouldn’t be an excuse to be blatantly biphobic, though
and, in itself, the assumption that bisexuals will leave you for the opposite sex due to their attraction to both genders is once again inherently biphobic and adds on to the stereotype that bi people are cheaters, yknow?
it’s fine to be a little on edge about it, but assuming and or fearing that a bisexual will cheat on you and leave you for the opposite sex (or same sex) isnt the best assumption at all and contributes to the mass biphobia found in homosexuals
also, please don’t think that we're saying all homosexuals are biphobic and that we’re putting them in the same boat, because we’re not-; it’s just a lot easier to say ‘homosexual’ than ‘a minority of homosexuals’ or ‘some homosexuals’ because im sure anyone with common sense would understand that we clearly don’t mean all homosexuals lol
@@Atlas-bd9jh i know that it’s not an excuse 😂 jeez

@@rad5334 pansexuality is attraction regardless of gender. Bi usually includes all genders but you can have a preference (or not) and probably care about gender. It's a bit complicated, especially since the definition of the sexualities mentioned can depend on the person, but that's the gist of it😭
@@crystalgrapes yeah-
So true…
The ideal world would be a world where people could be who they are without being judged, but that sadly won't happen...

@@ranapratap4650 more of a "I want to look more like her" or "be as talented as her" sort of thing.
What?
Same!
I like feminine guys more then masculine ones, I thought I was strange .

Also: when a bisexual person is in a relationship with a person identifying as the opposite gender THEY ARE NOT HETEROSEXUAL
I always get confused when people assume that you magically become heterosexual just because e.g. you as a cis woman date a cis dude 😂 Like yeah that's what bisexuals do
I had a similar vein of commentary from an ex boyfriend.
