My wife says our relationship is over. She wants to file the papers. However, she’s giving me three months because we’re supposed to have one last family trip and then after that we’re gonna talk but she says that she is for her decision. I see that kind of a victory in a small way, because it gives three months for God to intervene I know why she wants to get divorced because I let my inner child take control of our marriage with all its insecurities and everything else because I have childhood abandonment issues, but she says it’s going to take massive permanent change in her mind to be changed to make this work and that she’s firm in her decision
God bless you praying for Gods hands I tried for 3 years and failed the last year as I let her anger influence me I shut down and gave up and became resentful and she left - now I feel responsible after the first two years I leaned into God and had love and forgiveness and we did a lot as a family for two years after the affair even thought there were some bad moments My family has been destroyed by influential home wrecker I can’t express the pain in the loss of our home I do t believe else coming back now Even if she knows all the things I did as a loving husband

Please don´t ever give up. It is like the Lord does not give up on us. He does not give up on your wife and wants to see her back with Him. so keep praying for her... I have been standing for 8 years and I saw very little change in my husband... but recently ... in the past few weeks he is changing. I kept being loving... did not argue at all... did not push him at all and I kept praying a lot and did a lot of spiritual warfare. Dutch Sheets has excellent teaching on praying for the lost. Strategic !!
I had a thought.. when someone says restoration is impossible because my husband or wife is too far gone... what if it were your son or daughter... would you give up praying and say she/he can never come too the Lord. No ! You would pray every day fervently for them. sooo do that for your spouse.
I wonder had the people in these podcasts be making a podcast had their marriage not been restored. The reality is that not every marriage can be restored.
My wife had affair 2019’i was blessed by God to give me patience forgivensss and love and have a good effort 2019 2020 and most of 2021 until her anger and abuse peaked and shut me down I failed at end of 2021 become equally resentful staying on couch and just mirroring her because I was hurt leading to her leaving in 2022 It Oainful as much as I thought at the end I’d be happier if she was gone I wish I didn’t and was loving and trying hard still It’s so painful

So, let me get this straight. She cheated on you. Said things to you, and you are sorry. I have been where you have been. And I hate myself everyday for it. Because it always leads to the same place. Once a woman doesn’t respect you, unless she begs on her hands and knees for you back, it’s over forever.
May I ask was there an affair. My H is in affair with awful woman who was our neighbor. I believe with God restoration is possible, I wonder if you had someone else keeping you from getting your marriage back together?
