The blue line shows the direction the move is sending. If you get EWGFed by kazuya and DI left the blue line wont be pointing to left, it will be pointing to up left because it's where the electric is going to send you by DIing it left
So the thing about the homie DI peach clip is that you can't DI Peach up b up. If you did, it would produce a DI line but it would basically give the same knockback as no DI because you can't DI vertically when you get sent vertically. I think the squirtle DI'd in by the looks of that.

Marss DOES NOT understand DI lmao. Holding up doesn't do anything when within 15 degrees from the vertical. You can't die earlier by holding up or live longer by holding down. It's entirely holding left or right in those situations.
@@gersly__ LSI doesn't exist for moves that launch within 15 degrees of the vertical so it doesn't apply here. You can test this by DIing up and down on something like MewTwo up throw and it won't make a difference.
