That makes a lot of sense because getups don’t give you the same amount of frame advantage in smash, so the only time you can really get a “meaty” is in ledge situations where getup options are worse
@@supersonic0980 Smash has like one or two dps moves and something relatively close to meter and they both are simple terms that make sense. Oki and abare sound nonsensical without context.
Yo I saw myself at the end there crossing my arms with the peach back pack and hat on. I’ve played against skits before & I can confirm he’s a ranked DFW Wario main. & Wario is definitely the Jamie of smash.
THE example for a meaty in Smash Ultimate is Fox dash attack at ledge where he gets better combos the later he hits your neutral getup
Or Puff's late hit pound converting into a rest or even the late fair

Of course DaBuzz got them all right.
I was surprised how well he did
@@tharuffprophetdaGOAT never fails
Yea Dabuz is probably like the only smash player maybe other then riddles that knows FGC really well lmao.
Not only Dabuz got them all right but explained them perfectly damn
I see Dabuz playing fighting games all the time like tekken and sf6 he def would get them all right.
It was cool getting to see how fast he got them done
Abare is better worded as I’d say a buffering with the intention to interrupt or take a turn away from the other player
I agree that I could have worded it better, that definition sounds pretty good
@@tharuffprophet nah just a suggestion loved the video and gained a new subscriber :)
Or More succinctly
"Massing on your opponent's plus frames."
I mean technically a meaty is any attack hitting later into its active frame. Most attacks for oki are meaty as a consequence.
You put DP and meter in expert but, Oki and abare in medium? Idk about that.
I understand it from the standpoint of oki and abare being somewhat relevant, where DP and meter arent, to smash. But I'd switch em too lol

Medium is harder then expert ones lol
I wanted to make it hard enough that it would be a relatively decent challenge but not so hard that they'd all be getting it wrong
Okizeme and Abare are Japanese words that are commonly used also in Japanese Smash scenes
i knew the guy in the yellow played wario before he even said it because he heard the word "footsies" and immediately started tweaking tf out
Commenting for the algorithm you already know

I shall watch this with great amusement.
