I have been experiencing the same thing at the first take-off with my 2022 300 Limited. Looks like I'll be taking it apart before I head back to the water. Thanks for your insight! It is very much appreciated.
Have 3 sea doo's a 21 and 22 rxt 300 and a 22 Wake Pro 230. None of them have this problem. The 21 has 65 hours and has been awesome. Runs super strong. Installed a SCOM in both RXT's. The 21 hit 77 on the dash with no other mods. The 22 hit 75 with no other mods. The 22 only has 14 hours so I expect it will go a bit quicker after a few more hours on it. The wake pro runs 70 mph totally stock. Really surprised and pleased on how strong this machine runs. No catch cans installed on any machine. Keep oil level on the mid to lower side of dipstick and you don't need one. Also, not a good ides to vent oil/ fuel vapors in the hull.
If that water was getting in your engine, it would have smoked it. Water does not compress. If the water level got any higher, you might have found out the hard way. Everybody has got to be having the same problem with all the heat. Somebody has created a good fix for this. Maybe some kind of drain at that location? Good luck to you.
Hi i have 2020 rxtx 300 my jetski broke timing chain with only 5 hrs. This is the problems with this seadoo a lot salt water goo in the engine and then sitting month in mi garage built some corrosion internal. And that all take to brake the chain just some rust.. and them went to dealer they open the engine and they decline warranty work. They say i was no doing proper maintenance🤣🤣 with only 5 hrs.. seadoo suck i sold it and buy yamaha fx svho 2021
To drain that intercooler easy way is remove hose from throttle body , bring it up and rev motor at 3000-4000$ few time , all water will be pushed by supercharger air !

@Scott R its meth injection not water😂 If enough Water gets inside an engine and you can say good bye to that engine. This guy is probably only getting very little amount into the intake as the water is accumulated by the cooling chamber. nevertheless its not ideal if not disaster if all that water went into the intake from a slosh during a rough ride, the engine will be toast instantly from detonation.

That’s a bad intercooler. The lake water is not cold enough to create that condensation you think is happening. Stock intercoolers are garbage. Made cheaply and don’t last especially if you jump wakes and waves.
You’ll need to change your oil and filter about 5 times to clear the water that mixed in your engine. It’s totally milky after this. Your intercooler is definitely leaking. If you take the intercooler out and do a leak test. You’ll notice the water lines inside leak.
Take it out , bring it to a welding shop to weld a bung on the cooler, then you can screw a petcock valve into bottom of the cooler. I'd suggest to anyone not riding hard , just get a non supercharged ski. Then you wouldn't have to use premium fuel, and have the supercharger rebuilt every 100hrs.. I won't buy a supercharged ski myself, I'd just buy the the most powerful one thats NA.

My friend this looks like too much water to have from condensation only... are you SURE it is not leaking?
Upgrade your intercooler but don’t buy a Riva Racing. Change your spark plugs immediately.
Cust off upon first hard acceleration after leaving the docks.
dont ever stuff a rag down there. you will bend the cooling fins. Always take it out and blow it with air. also do a pressure test to see if it really is leaking.
Correct it should never have water in it like that. That is NOT condensation that IS a leaking intercooler. Guy is clueless.
How could both ?

Mine has that problem and it doesn’t turn on. The spark plug gets wet and the seafood 300 does not turn on.
Maybe next time you use a wet vac to remove the water faster.
Good point. Thanks
Clean the siphon for changing oil and use that, it’ll be easier to wiggle around than a shop vac
Do you have a catch-can installed? Some claim that a catch-can can cause this problem?
Yes I do have catch can. Hmm, interesting claim.
lol how is that remotely possible...catch can is out of the intake not intercooler...thats bullshit
Ya I just bought a new one and was going to put a catch can on it from Riva. Should I avoid putting it on?

Drill a small hole so it drips the water down in the hull.

Drill small hole in the hull as well so it goes back in the lake.

Do you think upgraded intercoolers will prevent this condensation from happening
Was thinking about upgrading it actually.
Vacuum cleaner with a 3/4 inch silicone hose, 10 seconds. No chance of damaging fins ramming a rag in there.
You suppose to start ski before putting it into water. It will clear anything in there before you initial start once launched
Not good to start seadoo out of water
@el bombardi it's a closed loop cooling system on a supercharged unit.
It's closed loop for coolant but fresh water for exhaust.
@lxddci actually, manual and official garage also say you need to start before running the water.
@rombaft you start before running water when you are flushing the engine.
Thanks sharing man ! i hope it is not happening to GTI 130 and GTI 170 i'm purchasing a new ones this year... let me know what you think ? thanks
