Good point. In fact, growing sea buckthorn in gardens is an upcoming trend in USA and Europe. You will find lots of videos on RUclips on this subject. My thought & understanding is that the scope of collection from the wild from just Ladakh alone or so huge even as on date that it will be unnecessary to think of cultivation anytime in the near future. Also... It is better to leave this as an opportunity for income generation for those in the mountains... For whom such options are as it is few and far.

I have checked and confirmed that the gelatin on the capsule is NOT vegan. However the oil inside the gel capsule is 100% vegan. Therefore only this particular formulation has a Red Dot on its packing. However the same oil is available packed in a bottle.
