Your aunt will love that cup! I wouldn’t call it orange I would say spice. Think of all the fun fall cups you can make!! You also make a great point about white. I think if I ever do a white base I may add an inconspicuous silver dot so I could tell if it was dry. I love plain glitter done with tack it because it makes the cup look metallic. I also discovered the only way I can get chunkier glitter to work is to put it down first and rub it off. Then put in a finer glitter to fill the gaps.
Hi I'm a brand new sub. Just started making tumblers. I'm loving it but still not a pro. Thank you for showing us the different looks with glitter. It helped!
My hubby is a UT fan and THAT would make the PERFECT Cup for him Jess... I agree the Base coat matters and I found it very cool when you zoomed in to show HOW the glitter looks after you burnished it - The gaps are REAL! LOL Nice video! XOXO
Jess I did forget to mix my epoxy together and only had the resin not the Hardner I wiped it off with Clorox wipes and started over I used KS Resin which I’m not really a fan of
Bevo! My hometown had a restaurant named Bevo's and they had the best chilicheese burgers!! Now I'm hungry😂 the cup looks amazing! I'm sure Gigi will love it!!
This is beautiful! I want to make a cup using the tack it method but don’t have the spray pain t for all the colors so I was going to use acrylic paint, would that be bad with this method?
@@ThePurpleStitch oh by the way I wanted to thank you for recommending the people you got you pen attachment for they are amazing and the customer service is absolutely fantastic!!!!
@@EachAndEverything24 yes!!! They’re super nice & im glad you like it! They’ve created a cup chuck to adjust for multiple sizes, too! I get to be a tester for it! 😱
@@ThePurpleStitch ohhh that is exciting! I make the diamond painting pens as well so I needed one with smaller holes and they created that just for me! They are so sweet! You'll definitely have to let me know how you like the cup chuck!
Cool. I actually never hear about any of the methods or challenges until they reach your channel. Oh. Have you and Simply Morgan Art figured out what you guys are gonna do for your collab yet? I can't wait
@Kamala Tay why though and why tell everyone about it? Thats mean or just a mean joke but if you actually did that, expect your gf to become your ex gf.
There are lots of glitter companies out there, but I’ve only bought from a handful. My absolute favorites are Fran’s glitter and feather bear bling. There’s a coupon code for Frans in the description.
Ok so I now put my epoxy on like u do. I’m so glad I watched u. Watch u all the time and u help me so much.

Your voice is relaxing. And your cup is pretty.

Hi Beth! I’ve been doing them for 2+ years and not a pro either! 🤣 I’m glad it helped! 🥰

You made this look super easy. Can't wait to re-try it again.
Thanks for sharing the blooper! Now I know for sure what I did wrong the first time I tried the Tack It method. Beautiful cup!
Thanks for sharing your mistakes with us. That helps us a lot!
love your tutorial. This font does come with the wonderful twirls. How was that added?

I’ve heard of others doing that, I KNEW it would eventually happen! 🤣 I’m glad it happened on such a smooth surface!
Looks awesome!!! I have the autumn harvest...I need to do this with it!! Thanks for the tutorial!!

This method is Super Cute 😊 .. Can’t wait to try it.
Very beautiful and I enjoyed that you shared your mistakes
I love the orange paint and Bevo looks amazing on it!
Oh My! I am also not overly an orange person, but man this is insanely beautiful!! I see this in my future. 😁
Can you use any type of tacky glue or just the tack it over and over
It was really helpful thank you for sharing

It should work as long as it’s smooth! You could even do a thin layer of epoxy before the tack it layer if needed.
@@ThePurpleStitch I never even thought of doing that! Thanks for the help! 😊
I personally LIKE your blooper color!
What tape do you use? everything that I've used causes me flusterations lol
Not a fan of longhorn orange, but mixed with some maroon(Aggie maroon of course) and gold, that would make a beautiful fall cup!
Great idea!!
Love the color. Thank u for showing us what not to do, 😂😂
I've seen recently that if you are doing a tattoo or waterslide you do not have to wait!! I havent tried it myself yet but I've seen it!!
I think you’re right. Tattoo and waterslide papers are slightly different I think. I haven’t tinkered with a tattoo yet.
@@ThePurpleStitch i havent either I've been thinking about it. We do alot of waterslide tho.

Great cup! What 8-10 glitters would you recommend for someone who is about to place their first Frans order?
Heavenly, white wedding, rose gold holo, and you are my sunshine are the top four fines I used. I have a LOT of faves! Are you wanting chunky also?
@@ThePurpleStitch All the colors, shapes, cuts, and sizes ; )
So beautiful!! What brand of transfer tape are you using?
This is a generic sheet I got at a local vinyl store. I’m going to try the lint roller hack soon!
If you still haven't put anything on it there's a really cute saying with a sunflower that says "bring your own sunshine" that'd be super cute!
Do your sand your tumbler before you spray paint it?
Usually. But sometimes I get in a hurry and don’t.
Awesome 👌
Can you do a tutorial on that font and how to remove the dots? Please?
I will add that to my list! 🥰
@@ThePurpleStitch awesome! Thank you!
Do you need to epoxy before waterslide?
Yes, it helps the edges of the clear waterslides disappear and to go on smoothly with either color of waterslide.
Thank you!
What brand of glitter is good
