I used to be able to make those long and strenuous hikes, but now I do them vicariously through your great videos. Thanks for taking this 83-year-old along.
Nolan, Years ago, I came through there with my wife when she was still alive. I knew exactly where you were. We even spent a night in a tent, in a very similar thunderstorm, what a thrill. I don't know if its like this now, but halfway between there and the East Yellowstone Entrance, is Bill Cody's Hunting Lodge. Amazing structure for the history, and the restaurant there will feed you a amazing breakfast like a lumberjack. it's worth the stop, if you need it. Really great video, never stop. Wish myself and my 2 Blue Heelers were still young enough to be out there with you, or at least doing it on our own. We still do, but not so much, since Kaiya lost her sight. If you have not visited the Steens Mountain, and Alvord Desert in Southeast Oregon, it needs to be on your list. Cheers, Sam
Wow that's incredible. I will go there when I return. Love to hear you are still getting out there. Funny you mention those locations, SE Oregon is on the agenda for the spring
Bills hunting Lodge is called Pahaska ( means long hair in Crow language) Teepee- well worth checking out restaurant was good and the cabins are adorable too.
This is some of the best stuff you have ever done in my opinion. The time lapse shots of the sunset and the cloud shadows are spectacular. I also love the way you give Tooie such freedom. Thank you for what you give us.
As an old lady now, you bring back my days of hiking in the western US landscape AND with the joy of hiking with an awesome dog. Look at that vastness! Overpopulation? NOT! Thanks man, keep going! Much love on your journey.
Awakened by Spirit, I find this mesmerizing video . Nolan, you have outdone yourself with this one. What a spectacular celebration of "eternity ". The combination of your determined planning and hiking skills AND Your drone talent allows us to fly and see past, present and future in a way never before. The reality of life on this planet takes my breath away ! We , as a species, have been so blessed !!! THANK YOU for this special gift in this very special week . "Celebrate, Celebrate, Dance to The Music ..."
At this stage in my life, there really is nothing better than watching you live life the way it should be...to the fullest!!! Your "pov" is magnificent & awe inspiring. My deepest gratitude goes to you & these breath taking videos you share with us. You have a true gift, young man & I am beyond thankful to have found your channel. Safe travels to you & your faithful companion Toohey. ❤️❤️❤️ 🖤🔥🖤🔥🖤
Anything that begins with "Tooey & I" is bound to be wonderful! I wish I were Tooey... The camera work is so incredible - it's like watching an art film. I hope to see a follow-up down by the Yellowstone river. Thanks, Nolan, for bringing some badly-needed joy and a reminder that there is beauty in this world.
Another magnificently shot, produced and presented fillum presentation from you Nolan Fischer. Always looking forward to a new video on this channel. Must see youtube.
Stunning stellar landscape, I love all the drone footage, I gotta get me one of them… no talking just the sound of the breeze & your steps, thank-you for bringing us all along with you…! 🌎🇺🇸
This is an excellent video! Thank you so much! To hike in the high alpine is one of my favorite things to do. Hiking all over Alaska, growing up was fantastic. Stunning beautiful views like you shared with all of us. It brightens my evening to see where you have been exploring recently! Enjoy your travels!
This is some of the best nature content on RUclips. I can’t wait to get out to Wyoming to explore. I have been dreaming of going to northwestern Wyoming for ages and this video only made that desire stronger. Thank you.
It’s like the death of mountains that were majestic. Beautiful yet sad. Reminence of centuries before. I wish they would replenish the forest before the area becomes Barron and erosion sets in! Your documentation will be so valuable in the present and long into the future! Thank you for taking us along on your many journeys! These cannot be taught in a classroom.
How NEAT and WONDERFUL. I love the way you include your dog as a we into your conversation. Great young man. Keep doing what you are doing and be HAPPY. Thanks.
This is near where i was born. You should have show your dog inside the tent sleeping. Mine used to lay parallel to me then when i was asleep, slowly straighten out his legs to stiff til i was pushed over and bunched up against the side of the tent when i woke, freezing, while he hogged the whole floor where it was nice and warm.
You know, I was born and raised in Wy and have walked and climbed a good part of it, but I dont ever remember being in an area like you were in during the thunderstorm. Thanks for showing me new vistas. John
What an amazing view, my wife and I spent the night with our Australian Shepard in the back of our Jeep Grand cherokee in the northern most point of Yellowstone, and a thunderstorm rolled through just as the sun was setting, when we woke up there was a massive herd of Buffalo in the distance and we felt so small and insignificant, America is such a beautiful place, ..thanks for memories, great video
Epic scenery wich I will probably never see for myself. Thank you so very much for taking me/ us there and a big shout out to you and your faithful four legged companion. Your channel is a YT 💎Greetings from Germany
Tooey looked so incredibly happy at the spring, and then again at the top of the mountain! His smile is priceless! Thank you for the adventure! It certainly makes me miss my adventuring days!
That's a great spot, hope to head up there next season. Glad your dog doesn't get into those rattlers! A small tip for your smaller pack--loosening the shoulder straps, allowing you to clip your waist belt just above your hips, would make it a good bit easier to carry.
lol I thought we were going to Teapot Dome! Isn’t it amazing out there watching the storm roll in? Thanks for reminding me that my home “rocks” & how lucky I am to call this my backyard!
My absolute favorite place on earth, when I die let my ashes flow down the green river and through the seedskadee, thank you very much for your efforts this was incredibly well produced you are truly talented
What a beautiful dog you have there. I have an assistance dog and know what ultimate companions they are. Thanks as always Nolan, for taking us on your adventures. 👍🏻🇦🇺🇺🇸🐾🐾
Back in 1972, I hitched and walked from Tenn. to California, Arizona, Wyoming, Rocky Mtn. park, but I did not have a dog or a drone. Thanks for your videos. They are awesome, a feeling of total freedom and joy. You have found some unique places on our planet.
You young man are a treasure to the world keep on being yourself , exploring with your freedom and showing other people what they can do with their lives if they have the desire. Young ones today need good direction for there lives and you give inspiration so maybe they can follow in your footsteps. Earth is out there to be explored. Go have fun
Your drone work is fantastic, what an amazing time we live in that this tech is so well developed that we can see these landscapes from these perspectives, breathtaking.
Beautiful, stunning, incredible landscape. You’re most fortunate to live somewhere with such wide open empty expenses to explore. Here in the UK you can barely walk for 20 minutes out in the countryside without stumbling upon someone out walking a dog unless you are in Scottish mountains, and even then well there’s always someone around. I need to move somewhere bigger and quieter.
Very. Nice. PICTURE. Shots. !!!! The. Sounds. Of. WIND. NATURE are very. Interesting. !!!! Love. The. Rolling. Hills. , clouds , blue skies,, thank you for your time and effort !!!! TERESA HAYWARD CALIFORNIA USA
Wow, you are the man, and anyone can see you love what you are doing so keep it up and stay safe, me, I'm in Arizona on the border and I love getting out also. Thanks for all your hard work 🙏
Thank you for another awesome virtual walk with you in an incredibly beautiful landscape. I love the serenity, the vastness, hearing the wind and seeing only you and Tooey exploring, such a metaphor for us in the grand scheme... I appreciate being able to see the areas surrounding Yellowstone and your skills in sharing.
Wow! What gorgeous scenery! I really loved this video. Thank you, Nolan, for taking us along on your journeys. I'm a senior Aussie woman and arthritis precludes me walking very far these days, so I live vicariously through people like you who are young and fit enough to enjoy these great outdoor hikes. I think you may find you have a large global audience of people like me. Your drone cinematographic skills keep getting better. Please be careful near cliff faces as some of your videos give me very sweaty hands! ❤
This is EPIC, Nolan! Some of the most amazing vistas ever! These records of our vast land, beautiful scenery and unblemished landscapes show only a mere fraction of how much country we have, that is still undeveloped, and virtually uninhabited. I don't think for a moment, that mankind is in danger of extinction! Before we shoot off to Mars to start establishing colonies there for survival, we certainly have much room and plenty of resources to keep humanity flourishing right here! One more thing; did you notice that the rock you stood on near the towering ones, looks like a giant dog statue and looks like Tui?😲 Give your sweet pup, a hug for me! I love that great companion of yours, and I love how your appreciation for natural beauty shines through! You're a great young man!🌠⭐
Such an incredible place, and your drone skills are off the charts amazing! I loved seeing the deer or elk running and your sweet dog with you too. Beautiful! Made my night seeing this!
Wow wow!! Outstanding location😍 !!! A wonder place!!!😍 I though was on other country like Peru or Indonesia or Africa scenery.....never saw a place like that on USA. Where is that Amazing place?
My wife and I are almost retired, from Toronto, and love your adventures. You are very authentic. You’re very cool and calm and never pretend to know things that you don’t, and you always seem sincerely honest. That’s very rare. We recently watched your video with the desert drifter, and even though we like him as well, you are too good to be doing videos with anyone else. It’s just our opinion, and of course we don’t mean any offence by it but we always look forward to watching every single adventure you do and you are so much better to watch when you and your puppy are on ur own. Absolutely love seeing untouched earth and the meadows you showed us in this outstanding video, make me wonder a couple of things...Indians lived here for centuries before us and yet, they didn't feel the need to make their travel easier by "developing roads." Why didn't we look upon this land with the same reverence when we first arrived?? Your videos and my immersing myself(still) in the Red Dead Redemption II game are what I use as a personal escape from this modern day. Thank you.
I love the fact that your buddy faithfully follows or leads but occasionally goes off a short explanation and then hustle’s back to you . I also enjoy your still drone shots as you move in and out of the shot very nicely done this video great drone work !
Nolan. By far your best episode yet! That shot of Tooey standing on the summit with the bright orange lichen is way beyond amazing, and how you're able to capture the essence of that place is so special. Your drone shots really feel like we're flying, and the shots from afar showing you both from a distance simply walking and standing, just wonderful. And a lot of others should notice you don't have to keep talking on and on, it's so better when you don't. Keeping us glued to our seats waiting for the next episodes! Gracias
Your pup is the luckiest companion in the world! Thank you both for bringing us along to such spectacular places.
That pile of stones was a grave.
Also, in winter, it gets -40, with heavy snow and high winds.
Notice the lack of trees ......
He looooves the mountains
@@Craig52-zq1bt not sure how this is relevant at all to this comment
guessing dog roll at spring was about other critters that visited that spring.. grabbing their scent and leaving his own.
This thought also appear in my mind. Hes living best dog life ever, always near owner adventuring

This is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen lately. The graduated blues of the mountains is truly lovely, as are the cloud-shadows. Thank you so much!
Absolutely, without a doubt, your best video yet. You made me ache to experience that place myself.
Something about this video just hits all the right ways. Good watch after a long day
