What the fuck. I have been searching for this answer ever since I got back to minecraft. I used to use optifine on an old laptop back in 2012, now that minecraft is making a comeback im playing it again, this time with an rtx 2070 and an intel 9th gen i7. When i tried optifine again it drops my fps below 90 for some reason, not that I needed optifine but it made no sense that vanilla minecraft for me had like 30 more fps than with optifine, thanks.
@@sambernales8380 I found something that boosts your FPS DRASTICALLY right click on your taskbar and click manage taskbar and click the top where it says "details" and find a file that says javaw. to find it immediately, just press J on your keyboard right click on it, hover your mouse on set priority. and set it to real time. This helped my frames boost dramatically. From 30 to 60.

So its just a normal laptop not a gaming computer! Anyways i deleted minecrfat because in 5 fps you know how the game would run so yeah thats pretty much it

Actually, the default texture pack is 16x16. If you go 8x8 it will squeeze a lil FPS out for you. But that would be like juicing a shriveled orange. You may get a little juice, but you don't wanna drink it.

I have a GT 1030 (GDDR5) and my FPS while using shaders went from ~30 to ~60 by disabling "smooth FPS" on performance settings. Seems like the 1030's drivers hate that specific setting so if you have a GT 1030, try disabling it and you'll gain a lot of FPS.

@@gerbenmenzo1993 The best that worked for me is installing more ram to my pc and i got my fps improved. it was getting 34 to 72 fps which is not too bad.
So far I changed like half of the settings with the conquest reforged mod- I would get 1 fps per every 10-20 seconds and it would take 20-30 seconds just to click on what he said, after a bit it went down to every 10-20 seconds that I'd have to wait (it froze like 3+ times tho) Edit: trying to toggle alternate blocks freezes the screen asap, gotta restart it AGAIN ;-;

This video was good one, I bought asus gaming laptop this summer good setting for an icore7 model, but i gave low graphic card nivda geforce 840m which downside of it with this settings with my low graphic card i see the defferents for sure so thank you now i can run some what a good shader pack with out the lag here and there

please realize that most displays cap at 60fps and only the most expensive displays can use 200-240fps and if you make your game focus on a lower fps it might perform better and not have unnecessary frames which you can't see, the standard fps caps are 60, 144, and 240 per monitor

If you're using a small laptop, change the fullscreen resolution to 640x480. It will still look as almost as good as it looked before and it will almost double your framerate. The only problem is that there will be black bars on the left and right of the screen, but it will still be better than having 5fps.
I never had problems with fps but sometimes my minecraft stutters and this helped ALOT. It feels so smooth and not choppy at all, I use to play with 200 fps with choppiness but now 200 fps no choppiness.

If you have shaders this can also drastically increase framerate. So this doesnt only apply for regular mc. Shaders trade fps for those sweet animations.

Listen, If you are playing in laptop then always check the graphics card that your minecraft is running, the integrated one or the dedicated one(that is, if you have a dedicated graphics card), and another protip is to lower your render distance and also as said in the vid, to unload any shaders
I hope I’m not the only one who has good FPS but turned on shaders so the FPS went down from 180 to 2 so they are turning off all of their setting to get the very possible FPS even with a really detailed shaders pack and resource pack
