    I have always just split mine!
    I have mostly birds nest style so splitting them has always been my go to, if I was to do the leaf one would they be straight up and down or also birds nest?

    But the problem is although I was able to propagate some leaf cuttings of snake plant, but after it reached a height of 2/3 inch, it died due to root rot. I was propagating in cocopeat and Vermicompost mix soil. So any suggestions about watering these snake plants. I have used that finger inserting in the soil method, but not successful

    Why do the new plants from cuttings loose varigations.

    Perlite ka option kya le sakte hai

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  3 года назад

      Either you can add Sand or very small pieces of Thermocol (many nurseries use them instead of Perlite)
