I didnt grew a money plant since my childhood... But your videos inspired me and now i have my own balcony garden where my heart lies.. You even don't know how much you are contributing in stranger's life...❤️ Lots of love and thanks to u...
When I seriously started gardening, your videos were my pioneer. I liked the way you are not telling only about gardening, but about growing a kindness to nature and our own home environment as well. ☺️
i love that you actually showed how some of your cuttings didnot work and rot just like mine. it's refreshing to see that even professionals fail, gives me some hope. i also put a long cutting in water which has just started rooting after nearly 3 months. it had begun rotting so i cut the rot part and put in back in water and finally it has shown some progress.
I'm not much into gardening or plants but someone close gifted me a snake plant recently and so I came here to check out how to care for it. Listening to you talking feels so therapeutic. Very helpful tips. Sending you love! :)
Hi, I tried to grow the snake plant cuttings in the soil( garden soil + sand + Cocopeat + vermicompost in all equal proportions) at the month of March and got successful :) what I learnt is that , *You should always use a sterilized Blade to cut *You should leave the cuttings in open as it is for atleast 24 hrs to give some time to heal itself *After 24hrs I applied Haldi(turmeric) powder as a rooting hormone *Water them in every 2-3 days *you do need to monitor the soil moisture if it's dry in 2 days than sure go for it give them water with spray bottle *just keep the soil moist NOT SOGGY! And tada! I checked the cuttings after 20 days and I saw the little roots coming out :)
Snake plant may not need this all.... if you know snake plant is easiest to grow and also hard to kill, so simply growing cuttings in water without changing its place will give you plant in easiest way!
Regretting, for I didn’t see this video first before I had to endure the rotting of my snake plant cutting! It’s extremely helpful! Thank you very much, Ekta!
Way to go...there is an article on gardening today in TOI print version and there is a mention about you in this article. Proud of you on how you are able to influence so many young people to go back to plants!!!
I absolutely love this individual plant care series. Will help me with my new snake plant. I'd like you to make an independent video on Parlour palm/ bella palm.
Bought Snake Plant for my room today, searched on RUclips how to care for it, found you and even at 12:43 AM, I am able to concentrate so much that I didn't listen my aquarium sound and noticed that bird singing in your background around 6:05 ... Well Thankyou for the information and do try for songs too over youtube... Your Voice helps you there too. Stay Blessed
Ma'am you have such a glorious smile and you're so sweet, and we can clearly see that you're growing all your plant with love... those plants might be so blessed to be under your care. All the best and keep on doing more contents like this... Always we support you from Sri lanka 🙌🏻❤
Thankyou my dear for this immensely helpful video , i have just started gardening i wish you would make videos on each and every plant so all my plants stay alive
This was very helpful. Special kudos to the way you explained what a "well lit" room is. 😁. Really helpful for a novice like me who reads instructions like 'Place in a well lit room' & wonders how well lit is well lit 😆
While tending to my aloe I accidentally broke a big leaf of my snake plant. Hence I'm here 😅. Thanks for putting this video 💛 and pls put a video on complete care of aloe vera 💚💛
Have been following your channel lately and commenting here for the first time. I got a snake plant for my home today. Hope it grows well, just like yours. Also, your voice is really soothing ❤️
How informative with such honesty, clarity and kindness! Ekta, thank you for sharing your tips as well as your tried and tested experiments! Greatly appreciate all that you do!:)
Aha. Very informative stuff. Watched a lot of videos to care my snake plants (recently added to my collection) but this video is the best one comprising all of my problems. Gentle, generous and kind voice with permanent cute smile. May Allah Almighty bless you.
Hello Ekta. Hope you're keeping well. More important than your videos is your infectious energy that can be seen in each one; the continuous efforts you keep undergoing are very inspiring. I've seen almost all your videos and am a big fan of your eye for detailing, accuracy, community feeling and warmth towards plants. Your updates keep pushing me to develop an eye for greens around me. Thank you.
Thank you for this video!! It is so helpful. I’m doing some research before I start my first plant and I’m leaning towards a snake plant. Your video made me feel like I could really take care of this plant successfully.
Please do take care while talking about watering any plants. It’s temperature that evaporate water and in India there is quite difference in temperature because of locations. I use to water my snake plants every 5-7 days due to hot conditions but in lower temp area it will take 15 day’s.
You are so informative and delightful! I look forward to saving my poor snake plant by moving it to a smaller ceramic pot and propagating some new plants. Thank you for your video.
I watched this video as one of the leaf of my plant has got detached from its roots and wanted away out to propagate it. Thanks to you . Hope I might be able to save rest of my plant be less watering 😅 and also propagating .👍
These updates are really good. They make me feel relaxed that I'm not the only one whose plants fail sometimes and things can go wrong.....also, please will you make an individual video on rubber plant & peace lily ?🌱🌳🌏
Seeing your videos has really motivated me to try with indoor planting! I always had that idea on my mind though but was not that confident enough... I have some in my balcony but growing plants 'INSIDE' the house was a big question mark! I have started with spider plant, jade & snake plant to begin with in my living room.... Hope it works well🤞🤞 And THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the information 👍👍

Hi your videos are really informative especially this one. I have like 14 snake plants that I propagated from 3 plants. But I still struggle with the type of soil to use for this. Could you please include the soil type to use when you do these individual plant videos?
Your explanations always help ,you know how to captivate just by simplicity ,I love your videos ,it encourages me to get more plants and be kind to the nature .keep up the amazing work!!!!

I had nooo interest in gardening...then 1 stumbled across ur video. I kept watching one after the other. And I wanted to have plants of my own. It's been 6-8 months, I've killed a lot of plants in the process of learning. I do exactly the same things explained in the video but it still doesn't work out. People say j don't have green fingers, but I am not giving up. Maybe the plants are just not used to seeing me gardening😄. They will get used to eventually....🤭
Too much care also kills them... RUclipsrs tells alot like do this.. Do that.. But usually most of the plants aren't difficult to grow.. Fertilize them time to time.. Nd proper watering that's it.. Also in sunlight they grow faster.. If you care too much.. They die talking from personal experience... I used to care alot.. Even my money plants couldn't survive... But now I just check them timely nd water them.. It's works better
U look very intelligent to me. The way u speak n explain everything. Pretty informative. Keep it up. Was looking for a video which can give idea to grow a nice plant in my small empty pot. This one helps. Thanks

Yes in my state there is a lot of mother in law tongue plant 😂 we call it like that but in the online it is called snake plant yes it has healing power like you said 😀😀😅
Great video! I just bought a small snake from a grocery store plant and gift section. It’s in a small plastic bowl and only has moss and water, no soil. Is it ok to leave it this way? It’s a very pretty arrangement, but I wasn’t sure if it should stay in this medium. Thanks!
I'm also experienced in plants n all...i think you should take a hand sized pot for it and grow it in soil! also water it after 2/3 days after potting...after that water it in 1/2 weeks regularly
Hi! I have been a viewer of your videos for few months now and I have successfully grown some roots and leaves for my money plant that is in water… (even though Your video stresses on money plant in soil? … I am bad at soil lol). Loved this video like most of your other ones. I particularly liked this because I have a snake plant which was refusing to show any sort of changes in terms of ‘growing’! It was kept in a rather Large pot and it was just one root with 3-4 leaves. Now, I have re-potted it to a smaller pot… let’s see 😊 Thank you for your videos. 🙏🏼

Well draing soil is needed as root rot problem is very common with these plants
@@dr.pallaviparmar3776 yes, correct.normal soil wont suit always.atleast cocopit or sand is needed with the soil

I'm from Indonesia, watch the video very often I think the plants are very beautiful
You are the only person whom video I usually watch coz I trust you

It's ok to repot now. But Let the roots establish well and then repot.
