- The 72-600 is a turboprop regional airliner built by ATR, a joint venture between Airbus in France and Leonardo in Italy. The "72" in its name denotes the typical seating capacity of the aircraft. The aircraft is powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127 turboprops, developing 2,750 shp.
