microbootlegger (update 41) installing deck rigging

This morning I installed the bungie deck rigging on the kayak. I show how I installed them.

Purple cedar, I would have mixed dye colors.

I'm not sure I understand this statement. I used purple dye over Western Red cedar to get my deck color.
