Was looking for removal of that center trim on the steering wheel and this video provided what I needed for my 2017 Durango. Thankful I found it. I just installed an LED carbon fiber steering wheel on my RT and will be upgrading this trim on the air bag tomorrow.

But I’ve been looking for a patch to cover it that involves taking off the silver on top of the steering wheel! Do you know where I can get one?

Mine didn't stay sticky cuz of the heat , so it loosened here and there and caught my hand while turning and would peel off. It really does look better in person tearing off the trim
I just took the chrome trim off and put the rebadgddesign one and it was too short! It was a bit loose.. I had to use gorilla glue to have it stay in place. Still came out good though, but for anyone trying to do this small mod just place it over the existing one.
I removed my chrome trim today, after I first had the sticker just over it. Looked pretty shitty to my eyes. So I removed the chrome trim (party destroyed it, almost like in this video). And now it looks much better with just the sticker on it. So thanks for the video.
You didn’t have to remove the Dodge// badge? You just placed the Scat Pack badge directly over it? I purchased the Scat Pack badge, but the lettering on the factory badge is raised and it seems like it wouldn’t adhere properly.
I don't believe they were ever on their website. The majority of what they make are custom designs. So if you get with them they'll be able to get you set up with whatever design you'd like!
As long as the glue stays glued, your good. Mine did not, just cuz it's hot as balls during summer, and got to the point when I turned my wheel,trim caught my hand and peeled off.

So i know you placed the scatpack decal over the dodge steering wheel logo but do you know how take off the dodge logo ?
I can't imagine these stickers stayed on longer than a week... Special with no prep work or cleaning.

When you ripped the chrome trim off from around the steering wheel and replaced it with the new one, how did it fit? It looks like it left a gap.
It for the most part sits flush. Really looks better in person.

@Mopar45 Yup, it's supposed to go OVER the stock chrome trim. No need to remove it. Its a stick on cover, like you said.
