    1:14 Hang a funnel off of the table with a small cable or chain, long enough to reach the gas tank. It will swing away as you drive, but not enough to get in the way.

    ive also found if you extend the cylinder it makes lifting to the vertical position much easier

    Hey Men, l Realy like your "Automatic Log Load-a-later system ". Good help is hard to come by these days ! The "helper-learners" are usually "Stranded" in mind-numbing "Numb-tendo fantasy's. It is Always good to get "fresh-air" & Sunshine, plus it helps the "Appetite, & muscular development " & cures "couch-potato-itis". Best wishes with all your endeavours.

    My only real complaint about the splitter is putting gas in it is a pain👎🏻. Great splitting session, looked like a fun day hanging out with your son!

    Nice splitter, pretty darn fast. What do they sell for? The one log your boy lifted weighted as much as him. I subbed.

      Thanks, Chuck! They're right at $2,800 in NH today. He's at that age where he feels invinsible; good for production but a little unnerving at the same time!

    Have you had any issues with this splitter overheating?

    • @Academy_Farm
      @Academy_Farm  Год назад

      Not the engine. There's a adjustable air intake for cool vs warm weather. There's an overflow on the hydraulic reservoir that will spit out oil when it gets real hot, but that's by design.

    Why doesn’t the guy splitting pick up the wood to split you doing it all wrong know you have to pick up the wood again to stack it when the kid could stack it right off the splitter

    • @Academy_Farm
      @Academy_Farm  Год назад +2

      That's a good point! It's mostly because the guy doing the splitting doesn't like to bend over. The kids can stack un-supervised. Not quite ready to split un-supervised. Thanks for watching!
