    I have a J model and just got a brand new HD model. They sip fuel. We use them to resplit wood off of my cordking processer. Seems like people want smaller splits now. The Super splitter is the answer. Super reliable. I like how the HD will just lug through knots. Great video.

    Jacob, there’s no denying the efficiency of the machine nor the clean splits it inherently produces. What I find most amazing (beyond the sayings and scripture) is that you did it all on one toothpick lol. Maybe I need to try gnawing on a toothpick so I can have your energy; as my pipe doesn’t seem to provide any when it’s stuck in my maw😜. I don’t believe that there’s any better videos out there which demonstrate the capabilities of SuperSplit better than yours. Great video

    2 Questions...
    1. You ever get tired of lugging up that wood b/c this doesn't have a lift?
    That's my only worry about it. I love how fast it is and how smooth it is. Never seen anyone complain about this machine and you go to their site and they probably have the most "all in for the customer" attitude of any company ever.
    2. What's that music you got playing? I really like it. Super relaxing. I'm trying to find a name for that genre to create a station on my pandora. Reminds me of Far Cry 5 I think...the one set in Montana. Love it.
    Thanks for the video!

    • @TwinCityFirewood
      @TwinCityFirewood  4 дня назад +1

      Thanks for watching and for the kind words. I really appreciate you.
      1. Sometimes I do wish it had a log lift, but I think I’d rather be able to work from both sides of the machine rather than load a log lift and then walk around it constantly. I use a ramp for big rounds that I don’t noodle or use an axe on. One thing to note on a SS is the size and species of wood you’re working with. In this video I was splitting small rounds. With big rounds, there’s a lot of flipping the round over & lining it back up with the wedge. It’s kind of a pain. Gets old but it does work.
      2. As far as the music, it’s just some RUclips songs I picked. The title of them should be in the video description. I looked to make sure and it shows them to me. If it didn’t work for you let me know and I’ll screen shot them on here.
      Hope this helps! And thanks again!!

    • @bradspencer4780
      @bradspencer4780 4 дня назад +1

      @@TwinCityFirewood haha well I feel like a doofus not seeing them in the description. They are there.
      Did you put them there yourself or does YT do that for you?
      I've never noticed "songs" in the description when people use songs like that before this video.
      Gonna have to check a few.
      I do a lot of videos in my business but mostly just "upload" to YT rather than mess around with it too much. Great for hosting videos inside training courses and what not...just make them "unlisted" and gives you an embed code you can put inside your website really easy.
      So still figuring out this whole "public channel" side of it. I realize I'm using it in sort of a rig job sort of way vs its intended use for public consumption but I've yet to find any player like RUclips that makes it easy and no one ever complains about the YT player embedded on your website whereas other tools it sometimes doesn't work in this or that browser or on their phone.
      Appreciate ya replying so quick!

    • @TwinCityFirewood
      @TwinCityFirewood  4 дня назад

      @ gotcha. No worries. Yeah, RUclips does that, there’s been several videos I’ve tried to see the song played and it doesn’t show in the description. So,, I guess it’s not always there.
      Thanks again!

      Yes I do. I go over the whole splitter once a year. I bought an extra bronze bushing that goes on the clutch. The folks @ super split suggested that I replace the bronze bushing & store the extra bushing in a ziplock bag with oil in it to lubricate it while stored. So once a year I swap those bushings when I change the oil etc. I’ve seen Mr. Joe’s video. It’s very helpful. I love his channel. Appreciate the question and your support!!

    Not sure why "Fire Wood" channels are obsessed with how long it takes to split a certain amount of wood. Enjoy the journey. Take your time and stack the wood in the tote and you will increase your volume per tote by a 1/4 to a 1/3.

    • @TwinCityFirewood
      @TwinCityFirewood  10 месяцев назад +1

      People ask questions about how long it takes etc., so why not make a video showing it. I wouldn’t call it obsessed but you can. Also, I do enjoy the journey but I don’t enjoy stacking, so I don’t because I have a lot of totes to store the wood in and can get more. I’m not worried about volume per tote to use less totes.

      @tomlaracey3515 same reason mostly everybody that does anything adds unique goals to the task. I’m not sure why people are obsessed with commenting when they have pointless things to say, enjoy the journey of keeping your mouth closed

      I was getting a kick out of reading some of your comments down below😂. Very intrigued about this splitter appears it could be violent at times if it hits some knotted wood

      😂😂. Yeah, you definitely have to “read the wood”. There’s been 2 occasions when I went down to my knees in the beginning of using it. Just like anything though, you get better with experience. Appreciate your comments buddy!!
