really good video i like how you told us the difference of every model i like how you broke the video up so we could jump to parts we want and stay interested and i feel like it was really well thought out and the scrip was good lots of info and you had no problem keeping my attention
C920 or C922, 720p in the c922 seems to be useless due to how blurry and pixelated it is, however there seems to be a colour difference. Which one is better?
I just gor the "base" model yesterday 25th sep 2022 for 35 quid. It's decent for the price even in 2022. Still 80 quid on amazon. Cheers for the vid dude.
marketing for Mac and Windows - however marketing does not show the USB type and My Mac laptop has only usbC. The cable is hard wired and there is no way to replace it - using dongles is a major pain .
Just got my c920s and use the capture software. I cannot find a setting to turn on the right built in mike. Only the left one works. The setting in the soft ware shows it is on but it is not.
Got one from Santa this past Christmas. I'm running Windows 10, and though it's 'plug and play', there are no links to connect with outside parties, and no controls for sound/volume. The picture is fine, but what about the rest? I can't get it to set itself up. Any suggestions, please? Thanks for your help.
I get a blue glare on my C920s, and worse it seems to come from inside the lens, as cleaning it did nothing, and covering the camera still showed it on the feed. I think it's from the internal led's ,any thoughts?
thanks for the video, I want a wide-angle lens to record some yoga sessions on the floor, is this webcam good for that? I also saw there is just a wide-angle lens, not a webcam that I can use also. I am not sure what's the difference between a wide-angle lens and a webcam with a wide-angle lens? Thank you for your input.
to be honest this webcam is very very good and has a great image quality but the microphone test could be done a little better like you were sitting in a room with a lot of echo and makes the quality of the sound worse too so pay attention to that on the other hand i mean this video is already posted to youtube so nothing you can do about it but anyways just a quick little tip
Ive thought about this a bit, rather than my room being echoey I think its due to the distance from the camera/mics. While the room is not "treated" per se, I do have quite a lot of furniture and some dampening. I do appreciate the comment and will take that into consideration going into further reviews though!

i bought the 920s at target in 2018 and i think it was 60 bucks(wholly shit 2018 was 5 years ago) it has stayed in it’s box this entire time, until now 😂. i thought i was breaking out a dinosaur so had to come here first to see how it compares to today’s standards and i’m honestly surprised at the quality. it’ll work for what i need it for. I’m glad to now know all 3 are in fact that same camera and about the mic quality as well. thank you for your insight!

This video is also not meant as a breakdown or dissection of the tech in question rather a review based on someone is looking into purchasing it, which is why over technical jargon was not used. I appreciate your comment but I hope you can understand why it was worded that way.

good for bang for the buck for normal webcamming. c920 is 70 euros in finland and it has microphones. something like razer kiyo pro is 160 euros and only minimally better.

Either you can switch it off in the software or you can choose a different microphone in whatever youre using to record!
